Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

How To Choose Between The Many Funeral Homes Tacoma Provides Residents

By Flora Vinson

When a person passes away, it can be a very traumatic time for those they left behind. While still in shock and grieving for their loved one who has passed, many people are forced to arrange for their final resting place. Turning to one of the many funeral homes Tacoma has to offer may provide some comfort.

Although, making the decisions necessary may be difficult, keeping a few things in mind may help them to be a little easier. First it is important to make certain that the departed had not made any advance arrangements. Often, individuals will take the initiative to make prior arrangements with a local facility.

Options may vary greatly from one facility to the next. Many families may be familiar with a particular business and were happy with the way they handled another family member or friend's arrangements. For others, it may be the first time they have ever had to make end-of-life decisions, and rely on others, to help them decide where to go.

Although, it is the business of these facilities to comfort the grieving, it is a business. The same suggestions for deciding any business to use, still apply in this circumstance. Many of the facilities may appear to be a locally, family-owned business, when, in fact, they are nationally owned, and their costs may be higher.

It is usually a good idea to get an itemized copy of the invoice from the facility detailing the services and expenses. The business is required by law to provide one when asked. This allows family members to compare pricing and services between several companies.

It can be a very difficult time for family members when they lose a loved one. However, they should feel that can ask questions of the funeral homes tacoma provides. While making sure that the final arrangements for someone should be done properly, it also should not cause a financial hardship on the family.
