Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

Tools To Develop Self Confidence

Being confident in who you are what you can do can make you happier as it allows you to do more and achieve more in life. Although there are some people who do not have a problem in being confident, for some people, confidence is not something that just comes naturally. If you are wondering how you can build or increase your self-confidence, here are some great ideas that you can try.

1. To start with, try carrying out a challenging activity or sport. Should there be something that you've never thought you would get into or accomplish, then this is the time to get out and take action. Be it a new sport or perhaps a difficult activity, doing it and achieving something while accomplishing this would certainly enhance your confidence.

2. Try to help someone else once in a while. Through helping others, you would not only manage to do good things for other people, however you would also feel that others appreciate what you're doing for them. This may ultimately make you more confident in yourself and in what you are able do for others.

3. Another way to increase your confidence would be through exercising. Exercising would not only improve your overall health but also make you feel good about yourself. This is because engaging in physical activities release endorphins that can uplift your spirits.

4. You may also try expanding your knowledge through reading more. Make it a point to keep yourself updated with all the latest news and information about various subjects. By knowing more, you'd probably feel more confident about voicing out what you know and how you feel about different topics.

5. Do something new. By engaged in a new activity, you could find out what you are capable of and moreover develop the abilities that you already possess. New activities may also serve as a terrific way to meet and interact with other people, allowing you to build your confidence in socializing with others.

6. If there is someone that is constantly putting you down or causing you to feel small, it is about time to let that person know your feelings about what they are doing and you will be expecting something different from now on. If that person continues to deal with you in the same manner, just avoid them and make new friends with other people.

7. It also helps to spend more time with the people who would love and support you for who you are and for what you can do. This is because they would always be there to encourage you and help you build your confidence in whatever you do, whether you fail or succeed.

Through doing these things, you would be able to be more confident in yourself and in your abilities. When you are confident, you would notice that more opportunities are opening up around you and that you are able to do more, ultimately leading to happier and a more fulfilling life.

Powers Of Precognition - Do They Really Exist?

Our psychic potential can express itself in many different ways, but deep down, all psychic powers are the product of the same energy. This power is one with extreme versatility, and it can be called by a number of different names, but at base, all of those powers are really just expressions of the same ability. It's the circumstances that make it look different. One of the more elusive types of psychic ability is called precognition.

It allows someone to be conscious or even see something that will occur in the future, prior to it actually happening. It is like the future being remembered. Similar to some other psychic perceptions, it is possible to have a precognition while we are awake but will more than likely happen during our sleep. When a person is sleeping they tend to down the blocks that keep their inner powers subdued.

The conscious mind prohibits us from making use of any psychic powers that we have when we are awake but when we sleep it does not have as much of an impact and the creative side is more likely to process the thoughts that we have that are typically blocked by our rational mind. It is more common to experience a precognition when we are sleeping because we are more open to the thoughts and images when we are sleeping.

But why is it possible to have a precognition at all? There are some definite possibilities to consider. There are people that believe that linear time does not exist and that the impression of linear time is simply an illusion that the senses create. When we access the unconscious knowledge that we all have, an effect is a precognitive experience.

The theory that time is really cyclical is another one. It says the each cycle in time is very similar to, if not nearly exact to each other. We have memories about the things that happened in a previous cycle and it presents itself as a glimpse of the future. If this is true then precognition truly allows people to remember things that occur in the future.

Another option says that everything in the world around us is connected by a web of energy that passes through space and time. By being part of that web, we have the ability to access anything on any other section of it, including other times.

There are many examples of people proving that precognition actually occurs when they have predicted things that are going to happen in their own futures. The predictions are not always of extremely important things. It can be about small things like getting the incorrect order at a restaurant or a more important thing like the prediction of a bad breakup or a new job that is on the horizon. It is not uncommon for someone to be able to give very specific details about events that will occur in the future.

Bringing the conscious precognition to the foreground is something that can be extremely difficult to do. It entails a great deal of practicing and studying to make it work. They spend time applying a great deal of focus on their targeted idea or goal. Their focused mind allows them to spend much less wasted time trying to accomplish their goals.

Many people have a precognition experience in their early lives but they choose to ignore it and believe it could not really be true. It actually makes their precognitive powers to dilute because their skill is not being exercised. They may see an occasional dream that will give those details of the future but they never take it to the level that they are capable of and they push the images to the back of their mind and move on.

It does not have to be this way, though. They do not have to be sleeping to have a precognition experience and if they apply some serious studying they may be able to enhance their skill level. Some people have to enter a very relaxed state, like in meditation, in order to access the information and some people actually need to have some previous knowledge about what they are looking for in order to be successful.

The logical mind makes it difficult for someone to get to the details if they have too much information to begin with. By practicing in the right way, it is possible to have a conscious precognition.
