Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

Remote Viewing - How Even A Complete Novice Can Get Started

By Vicki Porter

Have you heard of remote viewing? How do you know whether or not you can do it -- and how do you know whether or not you're doing it properly if you think you are? With remote viewing, you can see places, objects or people with your mind's eye instead of through your usual five senses.

Remote viewing is not the same as astral traveling. With astral traveling, your ethereal body is able to leave your physical body and travel incorporeally to be able to view something. Instead, your mind is doing all the work using the power of your sub-conscious mind.

Can you develop the power yourself and actually learn remote viewing? Absolutely; every person on the planet can do so. Just how successful you are at it depends on how well do you can relax and go into a trance like state, something very similar to what you feel when you are hypnotized.

Experts have long said that we only use about 10% of our mental capacity, with the other 90% untouched because we simply haven't tapped into it and haven't trained it. As one example, if you've spoken several foreign languages from childhood, those neural pathways are firmly established and you think it's absolutely normal to speak those languages. The same is true of other more 'ordinary' skills, such as reading and writing. You're taught these skills when you're young, and they become simply part of your mind's abilities throughout your life.

However, what if you had been taught to access your subconscious mind and its powers from the beginning of your life, as a small child? You may not have this ability developed right now, but you can develop it. It just means you haven't used it, and you need to train your mind to both see and use this ability that has been hidden until now.

Before you start to practice remote viewing, how will you get ready? Relaxation is key, and learning meditation is one great way to teach your mind to get into the state it needs to be in, in order to practice remote viewing. Self hypnosis, too, is another good way to 'practice' the relaxation and trance like state you're going to have to be in to be able to do remote viewing.

In addition to learning relaxation, though, you are also going to have to learn how to remain alert. It's very easy, of course, to fall asleep when you are that relaxed, but don't. Make sure you are well rested and calm, and let your mind stay alert as you fully relax physically.

Before you get into a comfortable, relaxed state and prepare for remote viewing, how will you test your results? You should plan a way to verify whether your viewing was successful or not before you get started.

One of the best ways to choose views that you can 'test' is to choose places you already know. For example, if you know a friend's home well and know what it usually looks like, try to look at it in your mind's eye through remote viewing. Is anything out of place? For example, are there books or papers scattered about that aren't usually there, in the living room? Are dishes or plates set out on the counter in the kitchen?

These are small things, to be sure, but they can tell you clearly whether or not what you're seeing is real. Once you've come out of your relaxed state, call the owner of the house you're trying to see and verify what you've seen.

Once you've practiced remote viewing, getting to that relaxed state will become easier every time you do it. Soon, you'll find that you can get into a relaxed state very easily, and the technique itself will be much easier to practice and become more fluid.

Advice For Couples On A Rough Road

By Andy Meyer

If there is a situation that needs urgency, it is that where a marriage is hanging on fate's mercy waiting to crumble to pieces. This is the worst time to sit and do nothing about the situation. The best advice would be to get a forum where the man and woman can discuss what needs to change if the marriage is to survive. Look for a compromise.

The best time to have the negotiations is when there are no tensions. One should have an open mind when they are dealing with a situation like this. Be honest with each other and respect everyone's viewpoint.

If no agreement has been reached, you can let the discussions go on for a number of days. This will not be a big issue considering you have been together for a number of years.

In case both think that nothing can be salvaged out of your marriage, delve into the past and fish out those positive things that would justify your marriage to stay intact. Focus on the glory days and build on this.

After those have been discussed, you can now come back to the edge of the cliff and touch on the bad things that need to be addressed. Do it tactfully assuring each other that you are not pointing fingers.

One thing to remember is that the whole idea of having this discussion is to find out whether the marriage is worth to be kept. You are not after tagging names of culprits.

It is in this forum that either you will know things about both of you, which you did not know or you just did not think about. At this time, truths about you that you never thought of before will be flung at you. It will convince you more that communication is important.

No matter how bad things look on the ground, you should not give up on the marriage too easily. Keep all the efforts to save the marriage alive and functioning. Keep the communication channels open and discuss ways and means to get the heartbeat of the marriage beating back to normalcy.
