Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

Suggestions For Christian Youth Group Activities

By Samuel Satterberg

Young individuals today do well to participate in structured events that teach them about responsibility and morals. Indeed, many Christian parishes and churches make available Christian youth group activities that provide entertainment, yet also teaches them how to be upstanding and honorable people in modern society. Additionally, they learn how to care for and to take care of needy people in their cities.

The game Truth or Dare proves to be a popular activity for such groups to play. The game prompts members to carefully think about their actions before they decide whether to undertake a dare or to reveal a truth. Most leaders adapt the game to target the goal of teaching morals and responsibility.

Indeed, game players will be required to tell a truth about themselves, including perhaps what their ethic inclinations are, with the other option being to undertake a dare of some sort.

Going camping or hiking together encourages the kids to get to know each other and develop friendships with one another. Other outdoor recreation might also include horseback riding or roller skating. Being active together brings them in close contact with other members and helps them depend on each other and gain each other's trust.

Generating funds for their club gives the teens and preteens a chance to work together to raise money for all of them. Ideas for fund raising include hosting bake sales, car washes, or family trivia nights at their church or parish. The money could then go to pay for mission trips or other events in which they desire to participate.

Aiding other charities additionally encourages the teenagers to partake in Christian youth group activities together while at the same time learning to value assisting those in need in their community. Organizations that frequently need additional support include those that provide relief to seniors, the disabled, or disadvantaged children. They could also benefit from serving dinner at a local homeless shelter and learn how to empathize with those in need.

Making Better Businesses With The Four Agreements

By David Dibble

The Four Agreements at work

For eight years Linda, my better half of 40 years, and I studied directly in the company of don Miguel Ruiz, author of The Four Agreements. The Four Agreements became a huge triumph, providing currently in excess of four million copies worldwide. And yet what are the Four Agreements and how can they so effect the way of life of millions?

First, we'll examine each of the Agreements:

1. Be Impeccable with Your Word

2. Don't Take Anything Personally

3. Don't Make Assumptions

4. Always Do Your Best

The simplicity pertaining to the Four Agreements on their own will likely be appealing to the company. In addition, it appears many people would probably perform their best work following the Agreements. Why wouldn't the workplace desire to make the Four Agreements an aspect for their culture? The issue seems to be leadership.

Most organizations are still administered and led using fear and control as the central emphasis. Within an environment that fit this description, it gets to be foolhardy to be impeccable with your word. On top of that, you can easily make assumptions or take things personally. Rumor, scarcity of teamwork, and disconnection between departments are standard conditions in organizations in which fear and control manipulate the culture. This is all conducted mindlessly. It's just the way it is. Unquestioned.

But what if a company is guided by the much more Conscious Leader? A Conscious Leader will never let fear run wild. Instead, he or she tends to make two necessary principles the foundation of his or her leadership style. First, he or she appreciates that the institution will probably be only as high achieving as the workers who work there. A Conscious Leader is a people person who is aware that his or her responsibility is to set up his or her employees, workers, and teams, to produce the most value from their work. Secondly, he or she has knowledge that each individual's thinking determines the employee's performance. The leader wishes to be versed in how his or her employees think. Furthermore, the Conscious Leader chooses his or her personal thoughts astutely.

Character Types - The DNA of Thinking

Twenty years ago Linda and I stumbled upon a body of knowledge that changed our lives and our relationships for all time. It is defined as Character Types (CTypes) of the mind. These describe how every person thinks. CTypes are made in each particular individual via sun symbols of the Western Zodiac. Every different sun sign thinks in different ways. As an example, Leo thought processes are produced differently in contrast to Aries thoughts. And it is common knowledge that the way we think causes a lot of our behavior.

In a business, if leaders and managers can have an understanding of their employee's thinking, they can more effectively appreciate and relate with their workers and associates. At the same time, it is the leader's wisdom of self that will make him or her into a Conscious Leader. As a leader gets to be more self aware, he or she will have a great deal more space towards the Four Agreements being a portion of the company culture.

When you need to make the Four Agreements a facet of your workplace, contemplate applying CTypes to your management style. Character Types get the job done like nothing else to resolve management and collaboration challenges in any company. Still it certainly is at the level of Conscious Leadership in which the greatest benefit can be received. A master of CTypes is going to be a Conscious Leader. There is currently a lot more important information offered for leaders who desire to utilize and follow CTypes with self and other people in the place of business.
