Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

Is It Really Possible To Lucid Dream?

By Colleen Rikke

If you are unfamiliar with the term, a lucid dream is one in which you are aware that you are dreaming. Lucid, of course denotes consciousness. The extent to which you are lucid within your dream depends on how stable the dream is, how much of the dream you can recall upon waking and how much control you have over the course of the dream.

It is this last factor which is the most remarkable and amazing thing about experiencing a Lucid Dream. Being able to identify the fact that you are having a dream is astounding. You can decide which direction you want the dream to go in and there really are no limits to what experiences you can have!

Just consider that for a moment. Lucid Dreaming looks, feels and engages all of your other senses as if it were really happening but you know that you are only dreaming and will be totally safe no matter what you do. This is the kind of virtual reality experience which computer experts can only dream of.

More and more people are learning how too use the skill of Lucid Dreaming. Most of us have a Lucid Dream from time to time but just think how wonderful it would be to be able to have a Lucid Dream anytime you want!

A Lucid Dream can be a doorway to some amazing experiences! Meeting and interacting with your favorite celebrity, having untamed erotic fantasies, taking a trip to distant planets, visiting fantasy worlds and touring them, conversing with a lost loved one, in fact anything at all; there are no limits to your imagination!

Having regular Lucid Dreaming experiences is something which until recently it took months to achieve. People would spend as long as a year in training to have their first Lucid Dream " and it remained out of reach for some people no matter how long they tried.

So are there any simple ways of experiencing a Lucid Dream?

There are those who maintain that certain foods can foster Lucid Dreaming if eaten before bed; among these are mustard, dairy products and orange juice.

Other foods of note are pickles, ice cream, popcorn and fish. Although they are not as effective as the three foods and drinks described above. Some people say that they improve your overall dream recall and "prepare" your brain for future lucidity. The main problem is of course that they are high in fatty acids, salts and sugars which definitely doesn't assist you in getting a good nights rest!

Can Technology Assist You?

New technologies can make it somewhat easier to experience Lucid Dreaming. There are devices which can help to stimulate you to have Lucid Dreams such as eyeshades and sleep masks which activate a LED when rapid eye movements are detected. This light reminds you that you are dreaming; letting you take control of the dream!

One of the most exciting developments in Lucid Dreaming comes to us from the world of audio technology. Audio researchers have discovered a process called binaural beats, in which different frequencies are played into each ear.

What this process does is to synchronize the two hemispheres of the brain. And almost instantly, just by listening to these special frequencies, puts the brainwaves into a state known as REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep which is the state needed to achieve a lucid dream.

If you have always wanted to try Lucid Dreaming for yourself, binaural sound presents the quickest and easiest way to begin.

Mindpower Secrets Revealed

By Brian Parry

It is a well known fact that most humans use only about 10% of their potential mind power. It's something staggering to think about; how high must our potential be if we only use this small fraction of our minds! What could you accomplish if you were able to use 100% of your mind?

The scientific opinion has long been that those who have psychic abilities and extra sensory perception are able to use these abilities by tapping into those great unused mental reserves. Some seem to have been born with these abilities, while others learn later on in life how to start using this potential mind power.

We're not sure yet how it works, but there is ongoing research into how our own mindpower can influence the world we live in.

Some studies even point towards the ability of our own minds to change reality. Our minds may be molded by the world less that they mold it, it seems.

'The Secret' and other works about the law of attraction lay out how to use mindpower to change their lives and even the world!

The law of attraction is all about cause and effect. The principle holds that our thoughts have no less of an effect than our physical actions and that focused thoughts can attract outcomes to us.

It seems that not only is the subconscious the prime mover behind psychic powers like remote viewing and telepathy, but is also our conduit to the energy of the universe around us.

Since the way to develop your mind power is to connect your conscious and subconscious minds, you're probably wondering how you can achieve this link. There are several different ways to do this.

Affirmations:- Affirmations are a well known positive thinking technique. When you repeat a positive affirmation to yourself, your subconscious begins to understand and begin using your untapped mindpower and start making your wishes a reality.

If you needed to boost your self esteem, you may tell yourself things like 'I am confident and well liked'. If you want to break a habit, you can use affirmations like 'I only eat healthy foods'.

When repeated, affirmations reach the subconscious and start producing the desired result.

Follow this line of reasoning and you'll see that you can change everything; not just your own behavior but reality itself can be molded by your own mindpower!

Visualization:- Visualization is another effective method of developing mindpower. You just need to close your eyes and start to see the results you want to achieve. Your subconscious mind will pick up on these images and begin to start making them a reality. Whatever you want, you can visualize it and your subconscious can begin to set events in motion to make it happen. Anything you focus your visualizations on will become a reality.

And you can also visualize yourself having psychic powers. Visualize yourself communicating using telepathy. See yourself being able to see into the future, or view remotely. Using mindpower whatever you want to happen will.

Hypnosis:- Hypnosis is a very effective means of boosting mindpower through communicating with the subconscious. You can work with a professional hypnotherapist who will place you into a state of deep relaxation and then supply suggestions to your subconscious mind which it will begin to work on once you wake up from your trance.

You can also use self hypnosis by listening to a recording of a hypnotherapy session. Not only s this less costly than seeing a hypnotherapist, but you can use this recording over and over again as needed.

Brainwave entrainment:- This is a new audio technology which is brainwave synchronization. This changes instantly your brainwaves to a certain frequency. This can result in many things. At a certain frequency you can improve your memory. At another frequency natural endorphins are released into your body which heal and alleviate pain.

Some frequencies attune your mind to the trance state where it becomes easy to speak directly to the subconscious and thus increase mindpower.

Other frequencies can stimulate the parts of your body known as the chakra energy centers. There is a chakra in the center of your forehead called the third eye chakra which is responsible for psychic powers.

In fact you do not even really 'develop' these powers. They are inside you already. It is thought that humans many thousands of years ago had this enhanced mindpower, but it became repressed and locked deep inside the mind.

When we talk about developing mindpower, what we really mean is unlocking the potential psychic abilities which are present in every person and starting to access the potential of that 90% of the brain which we don't use every day.

The Emotional Pain In Victims With Bipolar Disorder Symptoms

By Ken P Doyle

Can be experienced through the loss of someone you love so much, emotional pain is quite an acute feeling in the mind. These experience of pain can come from depression which is caused by fear, anxiety, disappointment and guilt. For victims going through terrible experiences the replay or the reliving of these past traumatic events can become very disabling. These disabling effects, changes moods, alters relationships, personal life and profession. What makes these pain worse is it can occupy the victims mind for some time. But, those who have bipolar disorder symptoms it is very different from the normal way we experience as this will be discussed later.

The Causes Emotional Pain?

A lot of people go through traumatic experiences during their childhood years and these can be due to a number of factors like physical abuse, being neglected, abandoned by parents, or the loss of a loved one. With adults, emotional pain can be due to the end or the loss of a loved one, the end of a relationship like divorce, the loss of the source of income, becoming a victim in a violent crime and substance abuse. Most often when severe trauma has been endured, victims can be continuously inhabited by bad dreams and constant nightmares. In the case of war or rape victims mental images can be experienced on a daily basis.

Deep Emotional Pain in Bipolar

These emotional pain experienced by bipolar victims can be very deep and for some to the point it is hurting so much that they can hardly stand. The experience can be compared to someone jabbing a knife into them. This deep, deep pain can last from 10 min. to 2 hours and suddenly disappear for no obvious reason. This pain can be severe to very bad that the feeling of alienation may also accompany the emotional pain.

Past Traumas and Bipolar Depression

Because our past traumas is stored in our unconscious mind some believe this emotional pain which is caused by low self-esteem, hatred of self, deep shame, anxiety and guilt is surfaced during bipolar depression. It is believed that all of these negative emotions and thoughts may contribute greatly to both the manic and depressive episodes.

Parting Words

This emotional pain have lead a lot of people committing suicide and it is important not to be just brushed aside and be taken seriously. Using medications may be necessary for some people but, some others can go without drugs and live quite a normal life. When in a bad or severe crisis, bipolar medications can be the safest and fastest way to getting the person back to normal. All present and past issues play a very critical role in creating emotional instability and those with bipolar symptoms, their emotional pain cannot be linked back to a traumatic event. These pains seems to pop out of nowhere and disappear all of a sudden.

Astral Travel - The Secret For Beginners

By Rick J Griffiths

The last time you were having a dream where you were flying, you were experiencing what astral travel was like. Astral travel is the way the astral body moves about in the astral plane, and it does so by flying. You simply think about where it is you want to go and what it is you want and once your physical mind and body are asleep the subconscious mind and astral body are off to fulfill your desires.

It is important to know that astral travel is not the same thing as dreaming. Dreaming is a more scientific condition. It is essentially your minds way of dealing with the stresses of the day, playing them out in various ways as you dream. Regular dreaming can sometimes be remembered, and sometimes not, but there is a definite difference between that and astral travel.

The dreams that you wake up and remember really well are actual astral travel experiences. It is highly recommended that you keep a journal of these dreams. Whether you wake up in the middle of the night or first thing in the morning you should write down what it is you remember. Granted at first, what you remember may not make much sense at first. However, it will all come together later down the road.

Just like regular dreams help you work out the stresses of your life, astral travel dreams also have extreme benefits. The types of astral travel experiences you have will be unique to you, as will be the benefits. This is why it is important for you to keep track of them rather than try to compare them with someone elses.

The primary benefits of writing down your astral projection experiences stem from an expansion of your spirituality. Through astral projection, you will become more aware of your surroundings and the inner workings of your soul. Once you truly know yourself, you will have an overall sense of well-being and peace. And because astral projection causes us to use parts of our brains that are seldom used, it will make you a sharper person enhancing memory and mental awareness.

A third benefit to astral travel is that it can also increase your psychic abilities. Many people who practice astral travel report having an increased ability to sense spirits, use of telepathy and precognition.

This is due to the fact that when you astral project and astral travel you are tapping into spiritual energies that you ignored before.

Even skeptics who didnt believe that astral projection and astral travel were real, experienced that ability to see and read peoples auras.

Finally, a fourth benefit that most people enjoy is the pure and simple excitement and adventure that comes with astral travel. The ability to go wherever it is they want to go and do what they want it is a freeing experience.

It is hard to believe that astral travel isnt consciously experienced by more people. Most people are simply afraid to try because they believe one must have the skills present. However, everyone is born with this ability as long as they are willing to practice it.

It is likely that youve experienced some astral travel in your lifetime, as stated above, either through your remembered dreams or daydreams. You have flown out of your body before, whether you like it or not!

The best way to gain the benefits of astral projection is to simply allow these experiences to happen freely, and try to blend with these experiences and to gain some sort of control over them. Through this mental exercise, you will get stronger in mind and body.

There are techniques that you can learn on your own through books offline or eBooks and other resources online. These were created by people who practice astral travel. Learning to astral travel is not as difficult as people want to believe that it is. This is a natural ability that you were born with, you just forgot how to use it and need to fine tune your ability.

Phil G's Simple Approach To Contacting The Afterlife

By Afterlife Phil G

An email from Milwaukee, USA asks how to rekindle a connection with a partner who recently passed away, showed 'signs' but now it seems to have stopped. And was she meant to be with him at the end?

I deal with many who distress at not being with a loved one in the final moments, but I feel they often want to spare us. In this case, I'm please she recognized the 'signs' of contact, but her concern about the signs of contact fading away are not a problem. As I share - I am sure she's just missing the signs, or expecting too much.

I know it's sad when they want to 'go home' but sometimes, we can't always do what we wish. I don't believe they hold that against us, and understand. My own father wanted to come home from hospital, but because I live a long way from his home, and there was no way we could provide care for him there, the hospital wouldn't release him.

I received an email today sharing a beautiful story. Originally, this person wrote of how distressed she was feeling. She purchase the audio "Contacting the Afterlife - a Spoken Beginners Guide" from the website (philg.net.au or afterlifephilg.com). And although she didn't think she could do it, her email today was a very excited one indeed, as she not only connected, but verified it was real. She was very surprised, and overwhelmed with joy at knowing her partner is still with her, and she can verify it!

I know if people try TOO hard, they don't get things. Or rather, they miss the subtle signs. I talk about signs usually being like a 'gentle breeze' and it's easy to miss. In this lady's case, I feel she's wanting him too strongly and missing the signs, or she's always wanting proof, and not just accepting.

If you're trying too hard, I advise you to think back to what happened when you WERE getting signs. Something happened IN YOUR MIND at the time you recognized a sign. Although something may have happened around you, there's something, in your head, an inner feeling that "It's Him". You just KNOW. Do you follow this? It FEELS different.

Embrace that feeling again. You probably want 'signs' too much. Just think about him, feel that feeling in your head that he's near, and trust him. He wants you to be strong for others, to hold and hug you and wipe your tears. Look at the simple ideas on my website, and believe the possibility that he's still with you, and verify it later.

The website has quite a bit of free information, and a link to the YouTube video called "CoffeeTime" which allows you to create a situation conducive to contacting family in the afterlife. Just ENJOY them being with you, without necessarily wanting 'a sign' - and FEEL them in your head and heart, and don't think you're imagining it, but just savour the moment. Although you may want proof for others or yourself, just for now, if you're having trouble getting a connection, I think you should NOT ask for a sign, or expect one, but get used to the different feeling in your head and heart when they're around, and the rest will happen.

So the trick here, for anyone who either wants to contact family and friends in the Afterlife, or feels they've had something already, but now feel the connection is lost, use the ideas on my website, take it step by step, don't try too hard to start with, relax, and gradually, you'll understand the connection, recognize it, and be able to verify it.

Remote Viewing Methods - A Simple Overview

By Adam G Lake

Remote viewing methods and techniques will vary. However, remote viewing is an innate ability to see or view a particular object by simply using the power of the human mind. It is somewhat likened to having an out of body experience or astral travel. Even so, they are not really the very same things. They are your natural psychic and extra sensory abilities of perception that you can develop into a skill.

Remote viewing is a natural ability which is latent in every human being. When you learn to use this talent, you can view objects which you would not ordinarily be able to see from where you are.

Remote viewing methods and indeed remote viewing itself are often considered to be farfetched ideas. As it happens, though, remote viewing is no more outlandish than say, the ability to speak or to walk on two legs.

It's remote viewing, whatever you prefer to call it.

When someone receives a mental image or a signal with no one having sent it, we call them a clairvoyant. When one person sends such an image and another receives it, we call it telepathy. When a parent feels that their child is in danger even at a great distance, we usually just shrug and say that it's some sort of parent-child bond.

The point of it all is to be open minded enough to enhance your senses of perception. You can also enhance your mind, body and soul in various other ways by being receptive to new ideas that maybe older than time and space as we know them to be.

What are some of the most common remote viewing methods?

In order to learn how to remote view you will need to find the best means of getting yourself into the right frame of mind. This means that you will need either to have developed your natural abilities of extra perception or train yourself in the matters of visualization and meditation. There are various methods and techniques of each. It is up to you to find the ones that work best for you and your lifestyle.

These are among the best remote viewing methods. Visualizations allow you to focus on whatever you'd like to remote view and meditation helps you relax deeply. It's going to take some practice to master remote viewing, so be patient and remember that Rome wasn't built in a day.

There are also aids you can use to help you develop your ability to remote view. These resources include books and audio recordings.

You'll probably want to try out several different remote viewing methods to see which work the best for you. What works perfectly for one person may not at all for you and vice versa.

Learn to trust your instincts. While learning to use this psychic ability, you may see images which you can't make sense of. Just let these images come as they may " they'll become clearer the more you practice and some images which make no sense to you now may later on.

Take it a step at a time, starting small and working your way up. Build on each lesson and progress bit by bit. It's best to start with a small number of simple, easy to visualize images as you begin practicing remote viewing. Small photographs, drawings or even playing cards work well.

Place these images in sealed envelopes, place them out of your reach and try to view these images without opening the envelopes. Keep a journal of your results while you practice " this will help you to track your progression in remote viewing.

Be patient with yourself and your results while you are learning and practicing various remote viewing methods and techniques. Before long you will notice that remote viewing does become easier and you will enjoy being able to see what you want to see when you want to see it.

An Introduction To Life Insurance

By Rodney Daniel Bolton

Life insurance (or assurance) is and agreement between an insurance providing company and the individual that takes out a policy with them. The agreement is based idea that for a recurring fee, the insurance company will payout an agreed sum to the beneficiaries of the insured (most of the time this will be family) upon the insureds death.

In some countries it is normal to have funeral expenses covered in a insurance policy, but in the UK, companies tend to simply pay out a lump sum to the beneficiaries of the insured upon his/her demise.

A life insurance policy will contain contract terms and these terms will include death circumstances for which the insured will not be covered, and the ones for which they will be. Death circumstances that will generally not be covered by life insurance are suicide, riot or war.

Life based contracts will usually fall into two different categories, protection policies and investment policies. Protection policies are those that provide a benefit to those parties specified in the contract, usually a lump sum, in the event of a specified scenario. Investment policies are where the main objective is to facilitate the growth of capital by regular or single premiums. Common forms (in the US anyway) are whole life, universal life and variable life policies.

The beneficiary is the person(s) who will receive the payout upon the death of the insured person and can be changed at any time by the policy holder unless the beneficiary is irrevocable in which case the policy holder must have express permission from the beneficiary in order to make any changes regarding the beneficiary.

The policy holder and the insured are not necessarily the same person (although they usually are) but someone can take out a policy to cover someone else's life, for example, a wife could take out a policy on her husbands life, making her the policy holder and him the insured.

In these scenarios, insurance companies want to limit the people who can take out a policy another persons life to only the people who would suffer a genuine loss, emotional or otherwise, if the insured was to die. This is to stop people taking out policies on other peoples lives because this person is on the point of death but its not obvious, and to stop providing a motive to murder. People may consider taking out an insurance policy on someone who is worth a lot of money with themselves as the beneficiary and then proceed to kill that person for the cash reward. Granted this is extreme and a rarity but it had been known to happen before insurance companies clamped down.

Life insurance, like most other types of insurance is basically an agreement between the insurance provider and the insured that for a recurring fee, the aforementioned beneficiary/beneficiaries of the policy will receive the proceeds of the contract (usually a lump sum) upon the occurrence of one of the terms of the contract, in the case of life insurance, this will usually be the insureds death.

How to Get Back Together With My Ex - 5 Magical Guidelines That You Have Not Thought About

By Anne Torres

1) Avoid pleading and being that annoying ex-girlfriend who cannot get over the breakup. I'm trying to decipher how to get back together with my ex, not how to be the butt of his and his friends' jokes!

2) Return to doing the things I loved to do before he and I started dating. Yes, I want to get back together with my ex, but sitting around crying over him isn't doing me any good. I sacrificed a lot of things when we got together and I want to do something fun with my time.

3) Slowly open the lines of communication with him. I refuse to call him 100 times a day or send him a million text messages! But I will say a friendly, "Hi!" when I see him. After all, if he thinks I'm doing well and am happy, he will surely wonder why I'm so happy without him and perhaps he'll start wondering how to get back together with me.

4) I will softly let him know that I still care for him profoundly but I refuse to tie my happiness to whether I'm with him or not. I will mean this when I say it because I know it is true no matter how terrible I feel inside or how much I miss him or how much I want to get back together with my ex.

5) I am going to rejoin my old clubs and activities. After all, this is where he and I initially met - who knows? Maybe he'll join me and this will be how to get back together with my ex before too long!

While manipulating somebody is not something a person should do, sometimes we must take steps to get what we want. I hope he doesn't feel manipulated by my show of happiness without him. I just want him to see that I am still a great person who loves to have fun and he'll remember all the reasons we got together in the first place without my belittling myself or making him hate me.

What Are The Benefits Of A Past Life Regression?

By Jon J Collings

It is said that only 25% of people believe in reincarnation. This of course doesn't mean that it isn't real, haven't you ever discovered that you had a talent or inclination towards something and you had no idea as to why? I am sure that you know what it is I am talking about, there are certain things in our lives that we feel a strong connection to with little to no reason that we can come up with. The answer could simply be that it was something that was important to you in a past life.

Unfortunately, its possible existence or validity is overlooked by many people and tends to be ignored. The opportunity to expand personally is missed out by that person or persons. To discover who they were in the past and who they are today, in the present. Ignoring information received on their past lives makes it easy to impede personal growth and to achieve success.

As a matter of fact extensive research has shown that past life regression is a very powerful tool in helping people with emotional problems.

The clearing and healing trauma, is a very common benefit of life regression. We have two choices when trauma happens and we can either try to change it of face it straight on. As we talk of life regression and of facing trauma, the option to rescue the past and help the individual (him or her) to continue to move ahead and get into a position where the trauma will be available for viewing by a higher self, as a whole.

Contacting our creative sides is possible with the help of past life regression. Without exception, everyone is imbued with many talents and abilities which can help with guiding them in making choices and dealing with situations that they experience throughout their life. Going back into past lives with life regression makes it possible to bring these abilities forward to use as a inner guide.

A past life regression can also help you rewrite a past-life contract. Karma is a wonder of a thing it always comes back to us. When it involves another person it can have something to do with a promise or an agreement that we made with that person in a past life. To free yourself from this agreement you can go back to that lifetime where you created the promise originally and you can decide, most often with the help of an Inner Guide, whether or not the is an atonement that can be done or if the contract can be modified to help you with a current situation.

A very significant benefit of going back to a past life through regression is the affirming and the grounding of ones self.

It is not uncommon for people who go through past life regression to feel more grounded, more aware of who they are as a person. This is due to the fact that they now know why they have certain characteristics, talents, connections, desires and passions. Having the information that explains why enables them to embrace who they are as a person and live a more complete balanced life.

When experts in the field of past life regression are asked, they agree that a person can enhance and improve their life when they practice past life regression. They will remember theses past lives and start to fulfill their ambitions and live a more complete life in the present.

Believe it or not, even if you think the events and feelings you have are simply figments of your imagination there is a catharsis that will take place and open your mind and breakdown the walls that are blocking you from achieving what you want in life.

Briefly recapping all the benefits to you of life regression and including dealing with trauma situations of the past and enable us to continue to move forward in the present. Dealing with past life issues give us the ability to be better at dealing with and making better decisions today by using experiences we have already had in the past.

Much like history, if you know history you are less likely to repeat history. This is true of the world and it is true of your personal life. If you know that in the past you were dishonest and you paid the price from being dishonest you can change your old habits to improve where you are today.

The most beneficial part of past life regressions, however, is all the knowledge you have obtained. A more complete understanding of who you are, what you are and why you are who you are. You know have the opportunity, here in the present, to live more completely and a more balanced life. To live to your fullest potential, utilizing all your talents, abilities and skills. All that you never knew you possessed.

Past Life Secrets: Unlocking Your Mind's Mysteries

By Susan M Mann

The concept of having a past life or perhaps several is reincarnation. It is an ancient concept in various cultures the world over. Some of these include Africa, Japan, Australian aborigines as well as some New Age religions and modern Wicca. They believe we have lived past lives and that those past lives influence us today.

Your health, your mental wellbeing, and your social interactions are impacted by each past life. For this reason, it is often a good idea to know thyself - to meet who you were in a past life, settle the demons that may be left over, and to integrate all the strengths you've accumulated over time so that you may be a stronger person now and in future lives.

How do you know if you have a past life? You may never know, however, in many cases disturbing memories or dreams that do not belong to you may visit you while you are awake. Reincarnation is a very popular belief among many individuals. However, when doing the math, it makes a great deal of sense that there are some new souls. Other indications include:

* When you saw or learned about a particular culture or arts, you already had a deep connection or attraction to that thing. Based on reincarnation idea, this may be because you were from that region or from that era. To be fully sure of this, you may want to learn some more culture or arts and discover your reactions and the effect it gives you; it may be linked to your origin in your past life.

* Unusual reactions or peculiar response to a historical event that happened centuries ago. This reaction may be explained by the involvement you might have in your past life.

* Irrational fears that were not triggered by some incident in your childhood, and possibly allergies as well. Psychological and certain physical issues may be linked to a past life.

This is by no means an exhaustive list, and just the fact that you have one of these indicators does not mean you are remembering a past life. Look for patterns in your life, ranges of things that attract you for no good reason, and you may start to home in on similarities that will help you piece together an idea of what your past life or lives may have been.

You may be able to access your past life or past lives by being hypnotized by someone else or with self-hypnosis. You may find that a visit to a past life regression specialist well worth the time and money. Past life regression, is a deep hypnotic form of recalling memories from the subconscious mind.

While searching for a form of self-hypnosis to access your past life you want to find a method that can double as a deep relaxation technique. You should work with this type of technique, until you feel comfortable using it before trying past life regression.

There is nothing significant to worry over in the terms of safety, since what should happen is that you are able to experience a past life just as vividly as if you were actually going back in time. It may not be as intense as described here; however, you should be able to experience feelings and shadow of your past life.

As you recall your life in the past, it will generate after effects in your feelings. If you feel good, your past life could have been good. If you feel bad after the process, your past life could have been bad as well. Although some memories and past life events are not good for you, it does not mean that you will have the same bad fate in the current life. It is only a recollection of your past life for your benefits.

It is the remembering of this past life, which is important; and once you have remembered, you can start to move on. It is only the subconscious suppression of these memories which causes problems. By understanding and accepting what happened in the past you can start to experience this present life with a totally different outlook.

There is a theory of Karma which says that, if we were good people in one life, and committed kind and positive acts, then we will have good Karma and subsequently, we will receive good in all future lives - unless we change and become bad people! If that happens, personal Karma changes and negative events will hound us throughout future lives until we have suffered enough to atone and revert back to being a good soul.

Not all people believe this idea because they thought that if someone was bad in the past life, there is no reason for him to suffer from the bad karma that might be due him in his past life. But the truth is, every one is entitled to have a new life ahead and every life is a chance to have a better life by choosing to do right in the current life.

Remote Viewing - An Overview

By Peter J Minks

Remote viewing is the psychic ability that pertains to the ability to see places, people, and objects that are not within the range of the outer five senses. This means you wouldn't be able to see or hear it by natural means, but your own innate psychic ability can be trained to perceive things without you needing to be there in person.

Don't mistake remote viewing as being the same as an out-of-body experience. Astral travel, or out-of-body experience, is where you travel incorporeally in spirit form to view a place or an event.

Remote viewing is a form of psychic dowsing, where the viewer is using psychic power to seek out whatever he wants to find. The remote viewer is using a form of ESP to locate that which he seeks.

All humans have a form of latent psychic ability that was never developed fully when we were young. Considering that most of us only ever use around 10% of our brain's capacity, there's another 90% of dormant brainpower left untapped and untrained that we aren't quite sure what to do with.

There are many practical applications for remote viewing, such as making sure that your children are safe and sound when you're away. Remote viewing can add to your security and give you the peace of mind that comes from knowing that everything is OK.

Anyone can learn how to use their innate psychic abilities and remote view. In studies on remote viewing, people who had not manifested any sort of psychic abilities before were able to remote view once they had learned to reach the proper trance state needed for this ability to function.

To start training yourself in remote viewing abilities, these techniques are helpful:

*Sit comfortably in a quiet place and close your eyes. You should be sure there are no distractions before you begin.

*Relax and breathe deeply through your nose. You will find your breathing may be easier to control if you press your tongue lightly to the roof of your mouth. This will also curb your tendency to yawn during this phase.

*Believe in yourself and your remote viewing abilities. You need to tell yourself that you can and will be able to remotely view things which your senses would not let you normally perceive.

*Start off with an easy object for your remote viewing to test your abilities. Try looking at yourself from across the room, as if you were watching yourself in a mirror. This is something which can be difficult to do at first; but focus and be patient with yourself. You'll be pleasantly surprised how quickly you'll learn to be able to see yourself from the perspective others see you.

*Once you can master the mental control needed to view yourself from a remote perspective, cast your remote viewing eye a little wider, and observe a location you know very well. Perhaps a parent's home or family member will suffice while you're training your mind. Notice small things that may be out of place, such as dishes on the sink or magazines on the table. When you get a chance, call and confirm what you saw. This reinforcement of what you've seen is important, because it will show you what your mind is really capable of achieving.

The next step is to try something a little more challenging. Try having a friend or family member in the next room repeating a motion while you try to remotely view them. Once you're done, see if you could perceive what they were doing. This exercise can tell you if you're really advancing in the development of your remote viewing abilities.

With practice and patience, your ability to remote view will steadily improve and it will become ever easier for you to achieve the trance state needed for remote viewing. Much like a hypnotic state, your body will be completely relaxed, but you will still be aware and your subconscious will be able to start working towards its potential.

The subconscious mind is the seat of our psychic capabilities. The more you practice relaxation and remote viewing, the better you will get at it.

Regression Therapy - Why You Should Remember Past Lives

By David Shakkid

Are you suffering from feelings of abandonment? Do you have an addictive personality? Does it seem like you are always the victim of an evil person? Do you have issues with rage or anger? What are your relationships like; are they healthy? Do you feel like something is missing even though you seem to have it all?

If you think that you are having issues on one of these areas and you tried every possible way to address them but they still keep on coming around then you MUST read this article as you may never have considered that Regression Therapy could help solve all your problems!

Regression Therapy looks at healing from a holistic approach. Ones body, mind and spirit are all inter connected and affect each other. Regression Therapy seeks to take a client back into past experiences through hypnotic type venues, while the mind is kept aware.

These past experiences may include childhood, teen years, young adulthood and even the time in the womb.

Many people however are regressed to a time beyond this life; past life regression focuses on remembering past existences.

This is not a concept that everyone can accept. 'Conventional' science tells us that this life is the only life we experience and when we die it is the end.

For example, in some accounts, clients talk about being an official in a foreign kingdom; some describe vividly experiences of fighting in a war; some even talk about hunting in the wild during the Stone Age with their partner who is, in fact, their spouse in the present life.

What is really exciting is when people can manage to physically verify information about things that they remembered during their past life regression therapy session. This can be done by looking at old parish records etc.

All around the world you can find heavily documented evidence of children who can still remember their past life. By visiting the places they used to live in their previous life they even get to meet living 'relatives' who they know inexplicably everything about.

It really helps in this life if we know what happened to us during those times in the past, because this form part of the way we look at this life, thus giving us the ultimate comprehension of ourselves and the patterns of our perspective.

Regression therapists have a phrase they use called "faulty thoughts". Faulty thoughts are the negative emotions and thoughts which people my carry over from one life to the next. This bad karma can have a negative impact on the way you live now.

Only the individual who have created this negative feeling can release the same feeling so that he could re-model his energy field into something positive. Some of the ways to release this is through forgiveness, karmic repayment, and re-patterning.

The concept of forgiveness is simple - every schoolchild (or anyone who once was one) remembers the Golden Rule: "do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Karmic repayment is the process of changing your negative behaviors to right the wrongs you have done.

After taking these measures to rid one of negative feelings, we can re-pattern our energy field into a positive thing, with good feelings of tranquility and peace.

Regression therapy can be hard on you but is truly life changing. Clients nearly universally report having a more positive outlook on life and a feeling of renewal.

This change does not come without a price however. To be fully successful one must be totally committed to exploring their mind in order to change their life dramatically.

Regression therapy offers a truly unique way of looking at the human mind and personality and whether to help with problems you may be having or to satisfy your curiosity about past lives, it is something worthy of your consideration.

Save Your Relationship After Infidelity with These Helpful Hints

By Ricardo d Argence

After infidelity, a relationship is going to be at its weakest point, but it is possible to come back from it. Infidelity is one of the major reasons that relationships fall apart, but the truth is that cheating is almost always a symptom of something bigger. As bad as cheating is, it's not what you need to focus on to restore your relationship after infidelity.

Cheating is usually a sign that the person doing the cheating is looking for something they're not getting from the relationship. This isn't saying that the partner who was cheated on is doing anything wrong, just that there is a major problem in bedrock of the relationship.

If you are going to come back after infidelity, then there are a few tips you need to follow in order to make the process as easy and effective as possible.

The first thing to do is take charge. The cheating wasn't your fault, and if you understand this upfront, your partner won't be able to use it as an excuse. They're only trying to make you feel guilty for their mistake, and they need to know this doesn't fly with you.

This will also help you to feel better about the relationship. Being cheated on makes you feel like a victim, and taking charge to repair your relationship will give you back the strength and pride that cheating took away.

It's easy to play the blame game, but it's only going to make things worse. Remember, the idea is to rebuild your relationship, and if all you do is blame one another, the situation will never be resolved. Just let this part go and you'll thank us for it later.

You'll find that this is the most difficult part on your journey to repair your relationship. However, it's also important to keep from accepting their apology. After all, if you forgive them you wouldn't be here in the first place. Then again, you don't want to fish for one either. If the relationship can be saved, they'll understand how much they hurt you.

The main goal is to figure out the real reason why. Once you can get past this point and discover the true issue, you can start taking the necessary steps to save the relationship. If you don't, it will end up failing.

When the both of you are discussing your future, it's important to have brutal honesty. Most couples have a hard time doing this because of all the emotion that is involved. However, this is part where you'll either see a glimpse of overcoming the infidelity, or having to go your separate ways. So get to the root of the problem and be ready to hear you downfalls as well.

Learn to trust again. In many ways, this is the toughest thing to do after infidelity. The trust has been broken, and it will be hard to get it back, but you need to be able to trust your partner again. No relationship has ever succeeded based on suspicion and paranoia.

In the end there are several different resources available that will help you recover from infidelity. It's hard enough to recover from a relationship, so make sure you get the appropriate help needed to make things better.

Wife and Husband Relationships - Hints to Have the Best One

By Ricardo d Argence

The basis for spousal relationships is respect and love. Of course you probably already knew this. Most people realize that these things are very important within a good marriage. There are some other things that are important in your relationship as well if you want to keep it strong.

Remember when you were just married? If you have only been married a bit, then think about those first dates. Remember how you treated each other then. No doubt you respected and loved them, but you were thoughtful and kind as well.

Over time when we know someone a long time, we often start becoming more unkind over the years. You would think you would become kinder, but it often doesn't work that way. Sometimes you take your partner for granted, thinking that they are a permanent fixture.

Remember the last time you talked with someone else at the store or in a restaurant. You may have talked to a stranger. How did you talk to them when you were conversing? More than likely you can across as a very kind and sweet person. They may have though about how polite you were when you were talking to each other.

Now think to the words and the tone of the voice you use with your spouse sometimes. When you get angry or you're unhappy about something, think about how you sound. Would you ever speak that way to a stranger? If you're thinking probably not then you've started taking advantage of your spouse.

Many people do the same thing with their kids, friends, and even parents. If your conversations were recorded and then someone played them back to you, you would probably be quite ashamed of the way you speak. If you didn't know the person so well, then you would be fearful of hurting those people.

These best relationships between spouses are kind relationships. Of course everyone ends up dealing with anger from time to time and usually you say things that you regret and you may even come across as hateful. You need to keep these problems from occurring often by thinking about how you would talk to others.

Thoughtfulness is also an important factor in good spouse relationships. People love their spouses, but it seems the longer they're together, they less they sometimes show it. Your spouse is one person you should make a point of being thoughtful toward, too.

In the beginning when you're first dating someone or first married, you might send (or receive) flowers, cards and little surprises. Generally after people are married for a while, these sorts of things slow down or stop. Remembering to be thoughtful and surprise your spouse can help makes yours one of the better spouse relationships.

Your marriage isn't something that is concrete. Your spouse could be with someone else. You need to start bringing back the way you spoke and the thoughtful things you did in the past when you were trying to win over your spouse. It is important that you are both thoughtful and kind. Along with respect and love, you will be able to use this to build a relationship that is strong and long lasting.

Should You Get Back Together With Your Ex? Don't Go Back to Them Before Answering These 3 Questions

By Anne Torres

Do you remember your first kiss?

Possibly you were six, or sixteen, or twenty-six! No matter how old you were, that kiss began the magic of love and attraction to the opposite sex. We all crave for that loving and faithful partner to share our lives with.

Unfortunately relationships aren't always all sugar and spice, we all mess up sometimes and relationships fall apart. When you're in the emotional state caused by a breakup you may be asking yourself if you should get back together with your ex.

How do you answer the question of whether to take your ex back or not?

Did you make a mistake or not? It's fairly hard to answer that question for ourselves now and again. After we breakup with someone our emotions are running high and it's really hard to think reasonably. It becomes next to impossible to actually decide what you should do and decisions made at that time are often a mistake.

1. Have you taken some time to yourself to think things through? It's recommended that you take at least a month without contacting your ex. You will need to this time to become calm enough to think things through. You need to consider the question of whether or not you really want to get back together with your ex. After some time apart it's easier to decide how you feel.

2. Are there valid reasons for NOT taking them back? It's easy to fall into the trap of telling yourself that you love them so much you'll, in no way, be happy without them. What you need to realize is that life does go on and people can and do fall in love again after breakups. It happens incessantly.

3. Have you thought about what the negatives are in your relationship and what could be done to fix them? If your ex lover is not interested in making changes, you are just asking for a problem. If they have been doing something that saddens you like drinking exceptionally, they're not likely to stop just for the reason that you are in agreement to take them back.

How Can You Succeed With Distance Learning Education Why You Work?

By Mary Jackson

Consider the benefits of a distance learning education: keep working and getting paid, forget a fixed class attendance schedule, and have the flexibility of studying when it's convenient for you. It is obvious that most students striving for an online degree seem to have the best of both worlds.

However, even learning online is not perfect and it comes with alot of challenges. It requires a lot of discipline to stay on task and keep personal priorities straight. As a learner, you must be intrinsically motivated to succeed. Without the in-class interaction between peers and the professor, it is more difficult to keep focused on the ultimate goal.

Therefore, how can distance learning students then overcome this challenge? One habit that a student must adopt is good time management. There is only 24 hours in a day and it is up to us to utilize our time in the best way possible. Set up a daily or weekly plan for yourself and ensure that you set aside time for your studies daily. If you have a family, let them know about your schedule so that they know when you should not be disturbed. Divide your time appropriately between your work, your family and your studies. Of course, discipline is important here as any schedule will not do any good if it is not followed.

Another important aspect of a distance learning education is to stay in touch with classmates and instructors through email, instant messenger(IM), college discussion boards or Internet calling. Discuss projects and assignments with peers who can help you stay focused by holding you accountable, and providing motivation and encouragement whenever needed.

Setting goals and rewarding yourself when you attain them are great self-motivating habits. Start by drawing a chart on the milestones that you need to reach in order to complete your course. Strike out each goal as you complete them and reward yourself accordingly. There is a certain satisfaction whenever we see ourselves progressing and this becomes a motivating force for us to face the next hurdle.

Additionally, it is ever essential for a distance learning student to set up a quiet place for study away from home life distractions, such as the television, phone calls or other family members. Organize an off-limits study area or lock yourself in a quiet room to ensure optimum focus. Apart from that, a good chair, a strong table and adequate space are also essential elements in creating a conducive environment.

Although distance learning is a great and effective learning concept, much of its effectiveness is dependent on the habits and determination of the individual. The full advantages of distance learning can only be gained through hard work, discipline and determination for success.

10 Tips To Help You Select An Online Distance Education College

By Mary Jackson

Accreditation - accreditation is very important because it ensures that an institution meets or exceeds an established set of educational standards. This means that courses from an accredited online distance education college are likely to be transferable to other accredited online or traditional colleges. Your current and prospective employers will look positively at degrees earned from an accredited institution making it easy to earn a promotion or get a new job.

Be aware of degree mills - there are many questionable accrediting agencies out on the internet that are outright fraud and are willing to give fake "accreditation" to any institution willing to pay a certain fee. Some of the degree mills are even owned by these same fake accrediting agencies. Make sure you do your homework and thoroughly investigate the accreditation that the college of your choice claims to have. While many online colleges are legitimately accredited, be aware that there are many that are not. Check out your prospective college to see if the accrediting body is approved by the United States Department of Education or CHEA.

Does the college and degree program you wish to pursue fit with your long-term goals and career? if you are thinking let's say, enrolling in an online associate degree program and later hope to earn a bachelors degree (online or campus), find out how likely it is that your associate degree coursework will transfer by looking for a list of colleges which have accept transfer credits.

Class size is as important in online education as it is in a traditional college classroom. Do your research on the average class sizes at the online distance education institution you are considering. Small classes make it easier to interact and voice your opinion.

Find out if the faculty hold any credentials and if they are qualified to teach the program you want to enroll in. If you can dig further to find out what degrees they hold and if they are experienced in teaching online students, this will save you the distress of finding out later that your instructor is a fellow un-qualified student with no education skills.

Support is very important to your success of online distance education program. Make sure you find if any and what level of support you will get from instructors, faculty and technical staff should you have problems with your classes or experience technical difficulties. Select a college that meets your standards of expectations.

Most colleges have their online classes rolling out all the time. This is a great thing and makes learning flexible. As such you should not feel pressured by the admission office or anyone else to start your program right away. You should start only when you feel your mind is set to it. This will ensure you stay motivated and put the effort you need to succeed with your classes.

Check out if your program will be offered entirely online or if it will require residency at some point in the course. Some online courses have site projects and require residency so let this not come as a surprise to you.

Check if the institution you're interested in offers any form of financial aid assistance. You may be pleasantly surprised to find out that financial aid, loans and the scholarships available to you. In addition, many colleges and universities offer tuition installment plans which help make college more affordable. Ask before you enroll whether such programs exist.

Take your time to research your best degree option and college out there. Don't settle for less than you deserve. Unlike there before when online programs were limited, now there are enormous options and colleges to choose from as most traditional colleges are already offering some programs online.

Emo Poetry

By John Dibbs

Oh how funny are emo poems! I mean it is just great to see how emotional kids think they are going through the tuffest time in their lives and feel they need to write it all down to share with us. You haven't lived unless you have read some poems written by emotional people. They have a great way of looking at things and you will be able to peek into their lives when you read their poems.

Poems have been around forever and all poets think they can combine words with such beauty that it's impossible not to appreciate. Emotional people do a very good job at creating poetry because they see things differently than you and I.

Emotional kids think they have some kind of great talent for writing poetry that a normal person just can't relate to because they haven't had the hard life growing up in middle class America.

Lets face it, if you always think you are the victim in every situation in life nobody cares about your dumb little poems but sometimes they are very funny.

The more serious the emo poem the funnier it is. It may seem mean but it really is great fun to see what they complain about. Next time you get a bit bored, which lets face it you are bored right now because you are reading this dumb article on emo poetry, so why not go read some? Cade and eric are the most famous for emo poems and they can be found by searching emo poems in google. Also check for funnyEMOpoems.com for some more great stuff.

Time to enjoy some made up emo poems from Cade and Eric on the web.

Grief Recovery Counseling

By Maurice Turmel PhD

Back in my practice days I saw many individuals who were suffering the effects of grief and loss after having lost a close loved one. This could include a friend, spouse, child, partner, parent or other relative who had passed on suddenly due to illness or accident. Occasionally I was presented with a couple where one of them had recently received a terminal illness diagnosis and only had months to live. All of these situations were particularly traumatic in their own way.

The case of these latter couples was really no different than any case of grief and loss. In essence, both partners had to deal with their feelings. Once the terminally ill partner accepted the inevitability of their death, they seemed to have an easier time addressing this necessity. I saw this happen in my own family when my brother-in-law was diagnosed with terminal cancer a few years back. He has since passed away. It was my sister who suffered the most. She had to go on and manage life for her and their daughter by herself. In my experience, the surviving partner always had the most difficult time.

With counselling of any sort, the goal is to LISTEN! Not just the hear the words an individual was speaking, but to identify the Feelings behind them. When I would reflect back to the individual I always began with sounds like youre feeling " sad, angry, scared, anxious, depressed " whatever it was they were conveying. I would then ask them to check in to see if what I said was accurate. It usually was.

As the client revealed a particular feeling, or set of feelings, I would instruct them to focus and describe them in more detail. That required that they pay closer attention to the feeling and address all its aspects including any physical reactions. More often than not, tears would begin to flow as the feeling was expressed and then released. The process of describing feelings in detail helps release their associated pain. This became the essence of my approach to grief recovery counseling. I called this stage "priming the pump."

Some clients would ask about "Stages" and "Theories", usually after having read something or being given advice by a friend. Acknowledging this might be interesting as an intellectual curiousity, I would then re-focus them on their feelings because this was where successful grief recovery counseling had to go. After a few sessions they would realize that dealing with feelings always produced the most favorable results, so interest in side matters diminished. People soon realized that dealing with feelings over grief and loss had many additional benefits. In fact what they were learning about grief recovery and feelings had advantages that could be applied to other aspects of their lives.

Our society is geared toward Externals, like stages, graphs, charts, outlines and theories. Good counselling focuses on Internals " feelings, emotions and physical reactions. In other words, counselling focuses on The Heart where we feel our life and where emotional healing takes place. Once an individual is properly focused they can take it from there. A few tools like Journaling, Writing Letters to your lost loved one, listening to favourite music and poetry will put you in touch with Your Heart. You can now heal because you are now Listening!

A well written grief recovery book can become an excellent counselling companion as long as it is designed to put you in touch with your feelings. A fully narrated grief resource can take you even further. Since the feelings associated with grief and bereavement are so intense, youre practically there. Just a little push and the guidance counselling resource book and youre on your way. For most of us, all we need is Permission to Feel. Our heart and soul will take it from there because we have engaged our body and feeling natures innate healing capability.

With any recovery process there can be many distractions along the way. In the case of grief recovery these can come in the form of stages, charts and graphs that are intellectually interesting but have no value in terms of your recovery. Most religions, even though well-intentioned, fall short on this matter as well. A good grief resource, counselor or support group can help you focus on the heart of the matter which is your feeling nature. Externals, even when interesting, can detract you from the task at hand - healing your broken heart.

Grief recovery counseling is fairly straightforward once you understand the process. Applying externals to an internal problem is futile. Talking about your pain is not the same as experiencing it which is what a good counselor and grief recovery resource would have you do. You now know that feelings are the key to your recovery. Feeling your bereavement and grief may be painful at times but that difficulty will be short-lived. Applying tools that focus on feelings and help release them will move your healing along. What you will be left with is the love you have for that deceased loved one, and that's forever.

How You to Get Some Space in Your Relationship

By Ricardo d Argence

We've all heard the phrase, "I need some space," but how much do you need, really, in a relationship? That really depends on the people in the relationship. Some people like to be together all the time, and some people like to spend time apart.

It can be difficult to find a good compromise that both people are happy with. This can be difficult if you each have very different feelings about just what is good about "togetherness" or "solitude." The key to finding a solution is to compromise on what each of you needs in a relationship in this regard, which will help you work through the challenge.

People's "space" needs differ. Some people don't like to be alone at all, and would rather spend all of their time around people -- family, friends, coworkers, their significant others. When they are alone, they feel a little lonely, a little lost.

Other people cherish their alone time. Without a little solitude every day they feel burdened and have a hard time relaxing. They feel that they always have to be up or on for other people when theyre around them, and it can be exhausting.

Of course, these are the two extremes when it comes to solitude versus "togetherness," but there are still other people who strike a balance between the two somewhere. They love to spend time together with partners, and they also want some time completely alone.

If both of you fall into that happy medium, then defining your space in a relationship should be pretty easy. And if you each fall into the same extreme group, where you both need lots of space or you both dislike being alone, things are made easier, too.

It can be a problem, though, if each of you has very different needs in that area. If you like your solitude and your partner doesn't want to be alone, you'll need to set some boundaries so that each of you gets at least some of what you want. Each of you will need to understand the other's point of view, and you'll need to compromise so that both of you feel your needs are being met as much as possible.

For example, let's say you need some time alone each day for at least a little while and your partner wants company around the clock. It can be a problem if you simply walk off to be on your own without making sure your partner knows this, and if you don't, he or she may feel neglected or that you don't want to be around him or her.

And if you hate being alone and your partner really wants some me-time, then by hanging around constantly you can start to make your partner feel smothered. Your partner might also think that theres no trust there, and you wont give him or her private time because youre afraid of what he or she might do when youre not around.

You can see that each of these situations could cause significant problems in a relationship. However, if you talk to each other with honesty and openness about how you feel, you should be able to have your solitude with your partners understanding.

And if your partner is someone who would rather hang around all the time when you'd rather be alone, simply realize that he or she doesn't need the kind of space you do in a relationship.

Why A Personal Trainers Philosophy Matters to YOU

By Josef Brandenburg

Considering hiring a personal trainer? Before you sign on the dotted line, consider his or her personal trainers philosophy to see if he or she is even a good potential match for you. If the personal trainer you're considering has a website or a brochure, look specifically for their personal trainers philosophy in their documentation. And if you don't find it, ask! Insist on seeing it as the first step in the pre-qualifying process.

Hanging out a sign and calling themselves a personal trainer, does not make them a personal trainer. You need to find out their qualifications. You need to have some proof that they are in fact more knowledgeable than you about the body and its development. You need to be sure that that person is certified and qualified to coach and train you. Most importantly, you need to find out if their personality and ideas for your health the same as yours.

Working out with a personal trainer can often be compared to working with a therapist because you may find yourself confessing embarrassing secrets that you wouldn't want anyone knowing such as stressing over fitting into a certain dress size before your high school reunion or indulging in an entire box of donuts in one sitting. The difference here is that your personal trainer is active unlike a passive therapist who will just sit there and nod in agreement! A personal trainer will do far more to help you. They will push you on and work you, stretching, pulling, exercising and advising, so they can help solve your weight issues. If you do not make the right decision, you could be putting your health at risk. That is the importance of knowing your trainer's philosophy before you begin working with them.

Knowing your personal trainers background and philosophy will give you vital tips to whether they are right for you. Ask them about their approach. Ask them where they were taught physical anatomy, nutrition, exercise and that is just a few of the questions you should get answers too. A certification from a vitamin supply company just isn't the same as someone who was pre-med in college before becoming a personal trainer. Learn what you can about how long they have be in the business of personal training, find out what is included in the program and ask for references of past and present clients.

Find out if, research is the basis for their workout programs or if they just try it and see if it works. Don't be part of a trial and error learning system. Check their record of accomplishment and see if it is just a generic regimen they use for every client or if you will get a regimen aimed specifically for your body. It is important to find out if they have a system in place or if they just make it all up as they go along.

A good way to see if your personal trainer is dedicated to helping you, is to ask them to see a copy of their philosophy and if they don't have it in writing, then they don't have one at all. It is very unlikely that that personal trainer will help you get the body you want.

Writing out a personal trainers philosophy not only shows you that your trainer is dedicated but organized and they take their job as a personal trainer seriously. They should keep track of their clients weight loss achievements and goals. This is the only way to prove and make sure that their methods are indeed effective and lead their clients to successful results. Consistent results should be on the top of the list when you choose a personal trainer.

A personal trainer is supposed to be someone that will work with you to meet your weight loss goals. If a personal trainer is not going to put in the time and effort to write out his personal philosophy on training than I cannot see how the same person would put their time and effort into helping you.
