Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

The Kind Of Attitude That Helps Decrease Tension And Stress

By Jared Reed

A good sense of humor is essential for every one. One cannot be serious about life all the time and build up tension and stress while having to face life's situations on day-to-day basis. One should be able to laugh and joke and have fun while interacting with others and make others laugh and loosen up too.

With current scenario of economic recession, the only way to cheer up depends upon the leader's sense of humor and attitude that can pull up and bring cheer to him as well as his team and sure enough this is only one of the challenges that he has to face.

Sense of humor does not mean that he has to be funny or laugh it off. As a leader he would know when and how to crack a joke to lighten up the situation and still carry the seriousness of the tasks ahead of him.

Sense of humor is actually an attitude and is a grate stress buster and anti depressant. When faced with challenges or overwhelming situations, it is our sense of humor that can save us from falling under the weight of the issues and helps us look at things from different angle and a paradigm shift can happen giving us the required breakthrough.

A team's success is entirely dependent upon its Leader's ability to ease things for them , remove the road blocks and especially during tough times explain the situation but take away the seriousness or the grave sword hanging over the people's heads thereby give them the emotional security required by making light fun using his sense of humor appropriately to loosen up people and get them charged up emotionally to be able to see through the tough times.

While work at office is definitely a serious matter and one cannot take things lightly, taking a few minutes off every now and then to have a good laugh or see things in lighter sense can keep one focused on the current job at hand without having to worry about future. It helps us bond with the others too.

As a leader, if you laugh, your team laughs with you. If you are serious, the team gets serious too. Therefore loosen up and learn to laugh every day and share few minutes of unguarded and pure fun with your team. You will bond with the team, productivity will go up and you will enjoy leading a team that can laugh and share joy as well as pains together.

A leader is one who takes the burdens off the shoulder from his team, removes their roadblocks and empowers them and motivates the team to move forward. He does all this with a smile holding his head high and not weighed down by the burden.
