Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

Successful Chakra Balance - More Secrets!

By Christy Tanner

If you want to learn about the concept of chakra balance you have to understand chakra's in general first. Chakras are our energy stations or centers. Chakras are your openings in your body for life energy to flow in and out of your aura.

One of their many beneficial tasks is the vitalization of the physical body as well as the healthy development of the self-conscious, they relate to our emotional, mental and physical relationships and activity.

What does a chakra look like, you might wonder. Most often they are likened to the appearance of a lotus flower, since they are have the appearance of a being funnel in their shape, with smaller funnels within the larger funnel.

Everyone has seven chakras and every chakra has a corresponding color association. Here we will learn of each chakra, the benefit of chakra balance and how they work to relieve stress and enhance your life and well being.

Starting at the base of the spine and ending at the top of the head, you will find seven chakras. The names of the chakras are the root chakra, solar plexus and heart chakras, the throat, brow or third eye and the crown chakra.

To accomplish a chakra balance you can eat certain foods which help to ground and re-energize your chakras.

Root Chakra: Beans, beets, carrots, eggs, garlic, meat, parsnips, potatoes, radishes and tofu products.

Sacral Chakra: Almonds, cinnamon, honey, mangos, melons, strawberries and many others.

For you solar plexus chakra, this will help with self-esteem, try eating flax seed, cereal, milk, cheeses, ginger, mints, and others.

Heart Chakra: Basil, broccoli, green tea, kale, sage, spinach and thyme. These types of foods and spices aid in healing any emotional pain.

It is easier to speak your truth by feeding the throat chakra such foods as plums, pears, limes, lemons, apples, kiwi, lemon grass and salt.

Brow Chakra: Black berries, blueberries, lavender, poppy seeds and red grapes encourage the awakening of the sense of the third eye.

For the final chakra your crown chakra, this will help to open and clear spiritual communication try the following incense sage, copal, myrrh, frankincense, and juniper.

This is only a partial list of some of the foods, drinks, and spices that will help out your chakra. For a chakra balance you just need to learn how to focus better on your chakra centers.

You can also do a chakra balance by using gemstones and placing the gemstone on each chakra point, with each point you can do an individual chakra balance and leave a gemstone on your chakra for three to five minutes depending on the amount of balance you feel you need to accomplish. You would start at the root chakra when doing this.

You can use any kind of gemstone, but some people suggest certain gemstones for each chakra. But this list isn't always the same for each person; you can test this out by buying a few kinds of gemstones. Once you place the gemstone on your chakra you will possibly notice a humming or a feeling that feels good if you are using the proper gemstone. If you feel a negative feeling, or just the gemstone doesn't feel correct, do not use that gemstone for that chakra again.

Experiment with various gemstones until you find the one that provides you with the best feelings and then make a list of the chakra and the type of gemstones you use. For example, you may wish to use a black onyx on your root chakra, which is popular with many individuals, however, it may not be the best choice of gemstone to use for your chakra. Never assume that a suggested gemstone is the best choice for you to use, since what works for some, may not work for others. Experiment until you find your perfect gemstone.

You can balance all of the chakra centers at the same time, by placing your gemstones on each chakra point for approximately three to twenty-five minutes, depending on how much balance you feel your chakras need.

Many people are finding that the easiest and quickest way to achieve chakra balance is by using the latest audio technology which balances your own chakras by reproducing the sound frequency associated with each one.

Just by listening to the special sounds on headphones your chakras become instantly balanced!

Unravel the Mystery of Chakra Healing and Reap its Benefits!

By Anne-Marie Laureaut

What is Chakra According to the ancient Hindus?

The human body consists of 88,000 chakras, also referred to as continuously spinning or active energy points that act as portals to receive, interact and transmit life forces between an individual and his surroundings. Chakra is Hindu for spinning wheel. Of the bodys 88,000 energy points, seven are regarded to have major importance in the overall function of our being.

Although there is no common denominator between the ancient Hindu and Chinese cultures, they are very similar in their interpretation and explanation about the role of these energy points in our health and lives in general. Both the Hindus and the Chinese look at the bodys major energy points as playing important roles in our conscious and subconscious experiences. And that these seven energy points are the keys to a healthy and successful life.

Chakras are defined in various ways but there is one common thread among all of the definitions and explanations whether from the Chinese medicine point of view, the Hindus mystical understanding of an individuals internal and external experience or modern psychologys explanation of human our consciousness and thought processes.

Since the chakras are constantly in motion regardless if we are awake or not, their constant activity influences our bodys structure and appearance, glandular processes, physical disorders, even our thoughts and conduct. Therefore when one or more of our chakras malfunction due to any number of reasons, the result is an imbalance that becomes manifest in all aspects of our being.

The reason for this is because each of the seven major chakras is linked to a corresponding endocrine gland in our body. Any imbalance in the function of a chakra affects our physical and emotional processes and manifests a disturbance in the usual pattern of activity or behavior through the endocrine gland linked to it.

Maintaining the Optimum Functions of our Chakras Using the foundations of the ancient Hindus and Chineses understanding and interpretation of the functions of our bodys energy points, especially the seven major ones, we can safely arrive at the conclusion that not all our illnesses are viral; some are very likely related to the malfunction of one or all of our chakras. Physical symptoms of illness may not be present or minimal at the very least, but our feelings of discontent, stress, excitement are signs that something is wrong with us either on the physical, spiritual or emotional levels.

These factors could be anything ranging from repressed traumatic incidents during early childhood to wrong diet, unhealthy lifestyle and the like. One thing is certain, and that is we have to remove these physical or emotional toxins from our bodies because they affect us greatly.

Chakra Healing is Good for Our Body We can directly influence our chakras and their functions and through them our health and lives by employing techniques such as Reiki healing, aromatherapy, color therapy, chakra balancing with the aid of a pendulum, crystals or gemstones.

Simple and straightforward practice of color and aroma therapy, controlled breathing exercises and rhythmic exercise routines, Reiki healing and directed meditation with the use of audio even crystals and gemstones are but some of the ways we can do on our own to influence the process of interaction of our bodys energy points.

For example, the practice of Yoga and directed meditation are but two of the commonly used healing methods to align and enhance our energy points in order for us to achieve total relaxation and concentration regardless of where we are. This is very helpful in relieving stress and enhances the bodys natural healing processes.

Despite the fact that we can see or touch our energy points, aside from the above there are other ways that we can keep them healthy in order for them to better support our body.

Since our diet affects our body and our system, they also affect the stability and synchronization of our major energy points. The food we eat can either make them work better, slowly or not at all!

Root-type vegetables, protein-rich foods and spices nourish our root chakra. The sexual and creativity (sacral) chakra needs sweet fruits, nuts and cinnamon, vanilla, sesame and caraway seeds; the stomach/solar plexus chakra which is responsible for enhancing our self-confidence and self-love are can be nourished by eating breads, pastas, cereal, dairy products, yogurt and minty spices.

The heart chakra thrives on our intake of green leafy vegetables and green tea. Our throat chakra needs lots of liquid like water and fruit juices and tangy fruits including apples and peaches.

Blueberries and grapes are the primary source of nourishment of our energy point for the third eye. It is also helps if we drink wine or grape juice.

The last of the seven major energy points, the crown, does not need nourishment but requires fasting in order to be detoxified.

By influencing our chakras, we are also directly influencing our health in general. This leads to a more responsive existence complete in tune with our surroundings and all other elements of both the physical and metaphysical world we live in.
