Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

Is Your Future Really A Result Of Your Past Lives?

By Richard Fox

Whether you believe it or not, there are several ways you can learn about your past lives. Just look at the Hindus and Buddhists who have utilized this as part of their religion for centuries. Even if you aren't a big believer there is nothing wrong with being a little curious about the whole scenario. If you need answers you can look into the various ways to understand different pieces of the puzzle and explore all your options.

Keeping Notes

One of the best ways people try to understand a past life is by keeping track of daily events. It's a simple process where all you do is write down all of your experiences. In fact, even if you come across something that is trivial, you should still write it down. There is also a connection between your emotions and a previous lifetime so it's important to understand your reactions to certain events. Eventually you'll have to come back to it and put all the pieces together.

The clues are right in front of you. Just make a list of your likes and dislikes for as many categories as possible. If you're eating pork chops for dinner, write down the way you feel. Do you like them? Are they bland? Do they need to be cooked more? However, you should do this for everything from your occupation and hobbies to dj-vu experiences, phobias, and even personality traits.

When you wake up in the morning, think about the dreams you had last night. One thing to keep in mind is that our dreams tend to bring out past lives clearer, so remembering them is important. So the next time you come across a symbol or event that would never occur today, it's possible you knew this in a previous life and it tried to surface in your dreams. We understand this can be difficult, but if you tell yourself you want to learn about your past lives before going to sleep, it can definitely help.

Regression Therapy

If you plan on taking this route, we recommend that you go with a certified trainer. The best places to start your search are the International Association for Regression and Research and Therapies, and the International Association of Past Life Therapists. This way when you start the program you can rest assured you have a good and reputable professional team in front of you. They should be able to help you locate one in your area.

Experiencing the Meditation Phenomenon

While meditation can do wonders for learning more about a past life, some people find it difficult to trust the enlightenment. If you're going to take this route to find clues, you have to trust your own feelings before you can understand them.

When you reach this state of mind, you will notice various images running in and out of your mind. Now, you aren't going to get a straight forward answer to all of this, but you will be able to find valuable information that has been hidden for years. Then again, you have to tell yourself you can do this with ease. If you don't think you can then you won't.

Probably the biggest thing to meditation is finding that one thing that would put your mindset in the proper place. To get started you may need something like the flame of a candle to focus in on, or even a ticking noise from a grandfather clock. If it works the first time, make sure you record it the second time around. This way you can teach yourself at home.

Have you heard about binaural beats? These are sound waves that shoot off different frequencies in each one of your ears. What it does is allows you to relax and reach the meditation traits of Zen monks. Even though they have been practicing this for years, it could take you minutes to utilize.

While all this is great, you have to find a place that is quiet and peaceful. If you don't, there will be too many distractions.

First of all you need to find a comfortable position once everything is quiet and peaceful. You will have to teach yourself how to relax the muscles which will calm the mind. If you get distracted with stressful concerns or anything else, you have to let them go. It's hard to do at first, but once you're able to make that connection the body will flow into a meditation much easier.

Once you start seeing mental images, keep track of it all. When you're finished with your meditation, be sure to write it down. These thoughts may be the key to resolving something in your life, which is the most important part to reincarnation. Granted you won't always be able to tell if these come from your past lives or the one you have today, but some of the information could lead to new findings.

It's an amazing thought, but there are times when people in your family knew each other in a previous life. Granted, the relationship back then could have been different, but the connection was still there.

In the end, everyone has their own beliefs about reincarnation. If you choose to do the regression process, most individuals find helpful and interesting information throughout the process, even if they don't believe in reincarnation in the beginning.
