Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

Understanding The Seven Chakras

By Paul Crawford

Chakra can also be translated as the wheel. It's a Sanskrit word. The Chakras permeate from a point on the physical body and are known as the centers of forces.

There are seven main chakras and other small chakras.

Muladhara- Base or Root Chakra; Swadhisthana - ovaries/prostate; Manipura- Solar Plexus Chakra which is at the navel area; Anahata - Heart Chakra located at the heart area; Vishuddha - Throat Chakra located at throat and neck area; Ajna - Brow or Third Eye Chakra;Sahasrara - Crown Chakra at the top of the head

The beginning of the chakra is at the base of the spine and they end at the top of the head. Chakras are fixed in the central spinal column.

Vibration of the chakras is at different speeds. The slowest speed is at the root or first chakra and the highest speed is at the crown or seventh chakra. Stimulation of each chakra is on its own. Following are the colors of the chakras: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, Violet.

Brightness and size of the chakras vary. This factor is dependent on stress, individual development, energy levels, physical condition, or disease.

The force of the chakras get slowed down due to - Either imbalance of the chakras or Blocked energies. There needs to be a proper and constant balance between health and the chakras for encouragement of sense of well being.

With our feelings getting blocked the natural flow of energy stops and our reaction to unpleasant experiences takes place. If this happens then the maturity and the development of chakras gets impacted. With our experiences getting blocked our chakras also get blocked and then the chakras get disfigured. At the time of normal functioning, each chakra opens and spins clockwise. The unique energies which are desired from the universe get metabolized with this.

First Chakra is the Root - is located at the spine base at the pubic bone in front and the tailbone in back. The root chakra is connected powerfully to our contact with the Mother Earth which provides us with the capability to be grounded into the earth plane.

Belly chakra or the second chakra is rooted into the spine and is situated just two inches below the navel. The center holds the necessary needs for self-worth, intuition, creativity and sexuality.

Third Chakra is the Solar Plexus is situated two inches underneath the breastbone in the center behind the stomach. This chakra is the center of: personal power;the place of ego; passions; impulses; anger and strength.

Fourth Chakra or the heart chakra is the center for compassion, spirituality and love.

Fifth Chakra or the throat chakra is the center to express sound, creativity and communication.

Sixth Chakra, the Third Eye: This chakra is the center for higher intuition, ability, the energies of spirit and light.

Seventh Chakra is referred to as the Crown is the center of dynamic thought and energy, spirituality and enlightenment.

Understanding Chakra

A chakra relates to and broadcasts the energy of life force; it is a point of alignment in the body. Chakra comes from the Sanskrit word that describes a constantly spinning wheel or the sphere aural energy we each have. Hindu text tells us that there are many thousands of chakra points in each of our bodies. The most vital of these chakra points are those which run along the spinal column up to the crown of the head. These are the seven chakra points.

The seven chakras are the root, navel and solar plexus chakras, the heart, throat, and brow and crown chakras. The receiving and transmitting of energy from the surroundings, the individuals involved and other essential surrounding elements involves these chakra points. The mystical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, corporeal and psychological issues of an individual are influenced by the activity of the chakras.

There is a common thread that runs through the viewpoint of Chinese medicine, the explanation of modern psychology of human thought processes and consciousness, or the Hindus mystical perception of the external and internal experience of an individual. That is that the chakras are indeed distinct concerning their definitions or explanations.

No matter if we are sleeping or awake the chakras are continually in motion. Our actions, deeds, glandular processes, structure, appearance and any physical disorders are influenced by this constant activity. An imbalance develops and then makes it known in other areas of our life or body when one or more of these chakras malfunctions for various reasons.

There is a particular endocrine gland that associates with each of the seven main chakras. If there is an imbalance of the chakras functioning it does influence the physical and emotional body processes. This will be exposed as a disorder of some sort in the regulated patterns of behavior and or activities that relate to that particular endocrine gland.

Chakra Balance Maintenance We can safely assume by using the point above as a starting place that for the most part our chakras are related to any type of ailment, illness of disease we may encounter. Although, we may not recognize the appearance of an illness or imbalance there are still concerns or emotional issues that result from our youth that can and will hold bearing on our emotional, physical and spiritual senses.

Generally speaking, the repressed or elapsed emotional balance that comes from experiences of past trauma is one of the main causes of imbalance of the chakras. The cellular level of the body is influenced by the emotional toxins that are habitually buried inside the subconscious of anyone. This is the reason that we should deal with our emotional baggage as this will aid us in maintaining a good balance of the chakras which in turn influence the healing process of our physical being.

Chakra Healing is good for the Body. We directly influence our chakras when we take on such activities as aromatherapy, color therapy and Reiki healing by bringing balance to the chakras while using such items as gemstones, pendulums and crystals.

The performances of yoga breathing and physical exercises are beneficial to maintaining chakra balance within the body and it is something that many individuals enjoy participating in.

There is a wide variety of chakra healing methods, such as using CDs and audio guided visualization tapes to inspire techniques of relaxation and natural healing or focusing on an object, thought or awareness for a particular amount of time. These help by reducing stress and channeling relaxation and mind power.

Chakras work unaided to maintain our body although we cannot touch or see our chakras.

For there to be chakra balance the body must be nourished in order to enjoy optimal health. The seven major chakras benefit from specific foods that help to maintain balance.

The root chakra takes nourishment from spices, protein rich food and root vegetables. Foods such as nuts, seeds, sweet fruits, cinnamon and vanilla nourish the sacral chakra. The solar plexus chakra that enhances out sense of personal self love and self confidence is nourished by consuming dairy products, pasta, breads, spicy mints and cereals.

Green tea and green leafy vegetables nourish the heart chakra. Consuming a lot of water, fruit juices and tangy fruits such as peaches and apples nourish the throat chakra.

The enhancement of the sharpness of in our third eye sight and a deep sense of our psychical talents and gifts that associate with the brow or third eye chakra finds nourishment from the consumption of grape juice, wine, grapes and blueberries.

Detoxifying the body is beneficial to the crown chakra which is our emotional and spiritual center. This is done by the ritual inhalation of incense and herbs and by fasting.

We can influence our health when we influence or stimulate our chakras. Doing so inspires us to be more responsive in our lives as we become completely in tune with our general surrounding as well as all the other elements of the physical and metaphysical environment we live in.
