Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

How Can You Remember Your Past Lives?

By Georgia Kirsten

In the world today, there are many more individuals who believe in reincarnation, than there are individuals who do not. For many it may be part of their religious beliefs, such as for Buddhists and Hindus, while for many others, it just makes sense to them or perhaps some may be simply curious. Whether they are searching for answers about that particular something that stands out in their minds that follows they all their lives or they are merely curious to find out, many individuals do their best to find out more concerning their past lives. There are various ways to discover the explanations, when you find yourself curious about past lives.

Journaling

Journaling is one of the easiest ways to begin your exploration of past lives. Write down everything you experience, even if it seems to be really trivial. Include your emotional reactions to events. Your emotions may be your strongest clues to what may be related to a past life. By journaling, you are creating a written record that you can refer to later when you try to piece together clues.

You can look for such clues in your present daily life. You can make lists of things that you may like and dislike, which may include anything from your childhood, foods, fashions, architecture, the climates, various cultures and historical periods. You may also consider including other things that come to mind, such as how you feel and what you think about your natural talents and gifts, fears or phobias, characteristics of your personality, birthmarks and scars as well as animals, occupations and those times you may experience dj vu.

Write about your dreams. Sometimes past lives come through very clearly when we dream. At other times we get little hints. Past and present and combine in a dream and give us symbols that may have meaning for you in both the past and the present. Before you fall asleep, give yourself the suggestion that you want to learn about your past lives. Write down anything and everything you can remember.

Past Life Regression Therapy

Professional past life regression therapists can be most helpful, since they are able to guide you through a regression and then aid you with the interpretation of the information you receive. You will find there are a few places for training and certifying these types of therapist, for instance the International Association of Past Life Therapists and the International Association for Regression and Research and Therapies both train and certify professional therapists. You may be able to find such a therapist in your area.

Meditation

There are many methods of meditation that can help you explore your past lives. While meditating on your own is a private way to find out about your past, some people may have trouble trusting the information that comes in, but you should try and trust your feelings.

While meditating may feel like a daydream, and images are flowing in and out, there may be some valuable information coming through. Write it all down and ponder it later. Likewise, if you tell yourself that you won't be able to do it or you won't get anything, you won't. Your mind is very suggestible, and it will retrieve what you tell it to.

Some people meditate better using a visual stimulus, like a candle flame, while others find it easier to meditate with sound. This can be a recorded guided meditation session you get from a therapist or a certain piece of music or just sounds, like the "om" sound or Tibetan bells.

There have also been great advances recently in audio technology with a process called binaural beats. Here sound waves of slightly different frequencies are played in each ear which has the result of instantly relaxing you to a state only normally achieved by Zen monks who have practiced meditation for years!

However, no matter which technique you may find useful for meditation purposes, you should always be in an area that offers no disturbances and that is peaceful.

Before meditation, you should be in a receptive and positive state of mind and either lie down or sit in a comfortable position. Quiet your mind, while focusing on the relaxation of your muscles. If you experience any unwanted thoughts, simply acknowledge then and then let them flow away. This does take a bit of practice. You should not expect anything but to become relaxed, while focusing on your heart. If you have questions, simply ask them and then let them go. Rest assured that more than likely, the answers will come when you least expect them.

No matter you beliefs in reincarnation, it is essential to know that you will receive images that will be helpful to you for resolving some matter in your life. You may not always receive images that are from a precious life, however, many individuals do receive enough information to begin researching and verifying events, places and even names.

Some individuals find that the people they love in this life were there with them in a previous life, although their relationship may vary. For instance a mother may have been a sister or even a wife in a previous lifetime.

No matter the initial belief of some individuals, concerning past lives or reincarnation, many individuals who do try regression may find that the information they receive can be extremely interesting and helpful.
