Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

3 More Very Good Reasons Why You Should Manage Your Anger

By Broyde McDonald

All the time you hear about how your anger affects you. But anger affects the people around you as well.

Your anger hurts the people around you this is how

They have to stay away from you

There are people who care a lot about you. That is at least most of you.

The problem is there are people who love you and really would like your company. These are the ones who see you as a special person. But they stay away so that they can protect themselves from you. They know that you are capable of hurting them, or you might just be anti social. So for their emotional health and personal safety, they stay away from you.

When you are mad, the people who care about you can sometimes feel as if they are dead inside.

When you are angry, you make other people angry

The smart people would stay away from you for one big reason. Your anger without a doubt would make them angry too.

Anger is an emotion just like happiness, sadness, disappointment etc, and because it is only an emotion, it is very easily transferred from person to person. That is just the nature of emotions, they are contagious.

This means that if I know you are angry, and I go around you for just five minutes, I run the risk of having my entire day messed up. How smart a person am I to go where you are, knowing what is likely to happen?

An angry person can mess up a child for life

You may have also seen that children learn angry behaviors in a very short space of time.

As your child watches you and discovers how to act angry the way you do, his life becomes that much more complicated. The reason it is complicated is because he unlearns how to act his behavior will only become worse.

What you will get is a small person who when an adult, will probably get every problem that people with uncontrolled anger experience. There will be a difference though it is that his difficulties are likely to happen while he is younger. This means that his anger will affect him more during his adult life than it did for the person who he learned his behaviors from.

Stop it. Don't let it just keep on happening. Control your anger. The anger management classes we have here will see you through the hard parts of what it takes to get your anger under control.

Do You Understand The Term 'Past Regression'?

By John Paul Harding

As reincarnation gains ever more acceptance in our society, you may have been hearing about something called past life regression. This is exactly what the name implies; and it is something that a growing number of people are interested in. When we know more about our past lives, it gives us insight into our lives in the here and now.

One of the methods often used is to keep a journal of those thoughts and emotions which come to you, no matter how small that do not fit with the experiences you have had in your current lifetime. Even the smallest things may be a helpful clue to figuring out more about your past lives. For instance, phobias or an attraction to a certain place you may not ever have been. A journal is a good way to spot patterns which may point to a past life.

You can start off your past lives journal by making a list of likes and dislikes, foods, places and cultures you seem particularly attracted to and other such details about yourself. Any talents you seem to possess without having had to practice should be noted; basically, everything which makes you who you are should be here; this will help you to identify patterns later on as you add to the journal.

You should also write down any details from your dreams which seem relevant. As you do this though, remember that your dreams will also contain a lot of things which are drawn from your life in the present.

Or you could try past life regression.

Often, this will mean a session with a professional past life regression therapist. These people are trained in using hypnosis to guide you through a regression experience and help you to understand the information you gain from the session. While many choose to go to a professional, self-hypnosis may also work for you.

Meditation is another method of finding out more about past lives.

For a lot of people, it is hard to induce a past life regression experience using meditation. We are often skeptical of what we receive during these experiences; but in order to make the most of your regression, you have to learn to trust your instincts and to listen to yourself.

When you meditate, you might feel as if you are daydreaming, but some of the information which comes through as you calm your mind may be important. Be sure to write down everything which comes to you in your journal so you can compare it against the larger picture you are assembling there.

Those who have some difficulty meditating often find aids including visual focal points, incense or relaxing music or sounds to be helpful. There are guided meditation tapes you can try as well as recordings of relaxing natural soundscapes.

You can also use binaural beats.

These are specially designed audio recordings which contain specific frequencies which can help you reach a deep meditative state quickly. While you meditate, choose a quiet place where you will not be disturbed and that you can sit or lie down comfortably. As you begin, make a conscious effort to relax your body and maintain a positive mindset.

You need to relax your muscles and clear your mind. When one of those thoughts of your everyday concerns comes through, simply acknowledge it and move on. It may take several tries before you can successfully meditate, but you will get there - and the answers to your questions about past lives may start coming to you.

Past life regression can even help you to cope with problems in your present life as well as give you information about the past. Some even learn that they have known the people they know now in a past life.

A large number of the world's religious traditions include reincarnation among their beliefs, particularly the Karmic religions of South Asia. Jains, Hindus, Sikhs and Buddhists all believe that your actions in every lifetime influence the circumstances you will be born into the next time around. What this teaches us is that having an understanding of your past lives can be the key to living better right now.

Regression has to be done with an open mind to the possibilities the practice opens up. You need to be willing to take in what comes to you and open to learning from your past mistakes to change your current life for the better.

There are many who hold the opinion that a regression through a past life can help to free you of mental blocks and improve your mental health and your outlook on life.

When you can deal with the problems of your past, you may be able to make positive changes by knowing where you have gone wrong in past lives and make better decisions in the present as a result. A regression can show you the way towards living a better life with a greater degree of kindness to yourself and others.

You might even find that you have talents or abilities which you were not even aware of. If you see yourself in a past life as an expert pianist, for instance, you will most likely find that if you take up the instrument you will be an accomplished player quickly. Discovering these latent abilities can add to your quality of life immensely.

There are many benefits which past life regression has to offer to anyone whose mind is open to the possibility that they have led other lives before. For those who are willing to listen, the past has much to teach us.
