Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

Your Mind Power Is Incredible!

By Roger Connery

Your mind power is perhaps the most powerful weapon you have when it comes to combating life. Instead of weapon it should rather be called the magic wand since your mind power can almost get you anything that you want in your life. Sounds too far fetched, is it? But the truth is that one can achieve any miracle if you can unleash the full potential of your subconscious mind.

Since we were children we have been told that the only way towards success is through backbreaking hard work. But did anybody ever tell us what power our own mind's contain? That if I can control it, I can achieve anything in life? That you only use 10% of your mind's potential?

Man is always attracted towards abundance. They seek abundance in every materialistic aspect of life, be it abundance in money, abundance in fame, so on and so forth. What you have learnt since childhood is the fact that you can only achieve this abundance by staying up nights, burning midnight oil and doing a backbreaking job. But the truth is that if you can unleash and utilize your mind power then the power of your faith and your energy will go on to manifest these abundance in your life. If you seek abundance then you should always think about the abundance that you already have in terms of the money you have, the job that you have, the functioning body that you have and be joyful and grateful for it.

But the one bad habit that we have picked up since childhood is that of thinking about scarcity. If abundance is what you seek and what you work for, then why isn't it that you always think about scarcity instead of abundance?

Everything in universe in energy. Hence, if you focus all your energy in a particular thing that you want in your life, visualize its attainment strongly and go on affirming your own mind that the event will take place, you will see that your mind power, or rather your energy would affect the entire cosmos and result in the event or thing getting manifested in reality.

Moreover, a thing to be remembered always is that like attracts like. Thus, the type of thoughts you have, would attract more of the similar kind of thoughts. Hence, if you want to have abundance in your life in terms of money, fame, success, or anything, then you have to think about abundance to start with, instead of scarcity. Your mind power is such that if you feel dissatisfied, it will be dissatisfaction that your mind will attract in the future. Thus, having positive thoughts and affirming your mind of this fact continuously is what will increase your mind power.

Thus, it can be concluded that your mind has tremendous power and potential which you are not aware of, if you direct your attentions, channelize your energies, constantly visualize and affirm in your mind then your mind power will manifest your desires and create your destiny in the way you want it to be.

What Exactly Is A Clairvoyant Reading?

By Julie Durdel

Clairvoyant reading is an activity where a psychic clairvoyant reads another individual by seeing his/her aura or energy field. That is, the clairvoyant has the gift of extra sensory perception by which he/she can perceive the energy field or aura emanating from another person thereby seeing that individual's past life, aspects of his personality or future events of his life.

The term clairvoyance is made up of the two words 'clair' and 'voyance' meaning 'clear' 'viewing' respectively. The psychic power of clairvoyance leads to the psychic being able to see and perceive things which are otherwise hidden from the normal senses.

Since ages man has been interested in seeing the future, to know about what it holds for him. Thus, psychic clairvoyant readings have always been popular and more so in the recent days of the internet. If one seeks to get clairvoyant reading done to read his future, all he has to do is to sit in front of a computer and click away to the hundreds of clairvoyant sites having numerous readers claiming to be able to read their futures accurately. In most cases, online clairvoyant reading involves the use of tarot cards or such some tool.

Tarot cards consist of two decks of cards called the major arcana and minor arcana. Depending on which cards an individual selects or the arrangement he makes with the cards, his future is read by the psychic. Major arcana cards depict larger and more impactful life changing events like marriage, death, etc while the minor arcana cards are used to see the individual's immediate future in terms of his emotions, mind, body and spirit.

Though online clairvoyant reading through tarot cards are quite popular and something which people most commonly go towards, it must be said that original clairvoyant reading consists of actual visualization from a person and not the interpretation of any cards, or for that matter any mathematical calculation such as in numerology, or planetary projections like in astrology, etc.

Clairvoyant reading in its truest sense of the term includes the psychic being able to see the energy field or the aura coming out from you enabling him to perceive the kind of person you are, along with events from your past or future. Hence, after you meet a clairvoyant, chances are that they will know much more about you than you yourself do. Meeting a good clairvoyant can be the first step in a lifelong friendship since a clairvoyant reader is empathetic and guides you regarding your course of action in dealing with future incidents of life.

The existence of clairvoyant reading can be traced from the days of ancient shamanic beliefs, through the cold war times till today but this journey has been hindered by the skepticism that this psychic activity faces. Like many others, clairvoyant reading has also been marred with the claims of it being the work of fraudsters or being a product of complete guesswork.

But it can be concluded that there is still a lot of things happening in this world which science has not yet been able to explain and it is the very reason why the word 'miracle' still exists. Thus, psychic powers like that of clairvoyant reading might well be attacked upon, but is surely a life changing experience for the chosen few who have had the opportunity to experience it.

What Is It That Makes Clairvoyants Psychic?

By Mary Shell

It's often pondered by many over how clairvoyants becomes psychic, or if it's a simple matter of genetics. Is this a skill that anyone can achieve in time, or it something that is based on pure luck? If anyone can become one, how is it possible?

It's generally thought of that everyone has some type of psychic skill, with the deciding factor being as to what sort of skill they have, the level in which they have it, or if they even learn to recognize that they possess it. For example, pretty much anyone can learn to paint in some form or another. They can either learn to do so over time, or they may just be naturally talented and skilled at it since day one of trying. The point of the matter is bothering to try.

Even if we never learn to pick up a brush or how to fine-tune our skill, we can still appreciate the affect and take notice of paintings around us and feel moved by what we see. However, for those who are either natural or learn to become skilled at it later can eventually learn the basics or the mechanics to where they're comfortable doing it, and may even be skilled at one method than another or find themselves less skilled than another without practice.

Natural-born clairvoyants generally develop their skills gradually, though what they experience may be drastic or subtle as it happens. Perhaps they gain a visual image out of the blue, or find themselves seeing or sensing something that doesn't fit or make sense. Some may never truly come to understand that they have abilities to begin with, or feel the need to ignore what's happening to them.

For those who do learn to recognize their skills, even if they don't understand what it is their feeling or seeing, generally start to do so young if they are naturally born with the skill. What they experience often confuses or scares them due to not having the proper guidance to help them. However, with TV, movies and books, many are now becoming aware that they are not alone and that there is an explanation for what's happening to them.

Other natural clairvoyants may not develop or show signs until later in life. This is can be triggered by an event that somehow managed to awaken or ignite that ability within them such as a near-death or traumatizing experience by physical, emotional or spiritual means. Others may simply just be late bloomers whose abilities are lying dormant for another time. Development can be either drastic and sudden, or it may be something that occurs gradually and subtly over time.

Many may not experience any type of psychic abilities at all or find that they possess any. However, we all have, at one time or another, felt some sense of psychic awareness that couldn't be explained away--it was just a matter of looking at it a little more closely. For instance, you may have felt watched by someone who you couldn't see, or felt a presence around you when there was no reasonable explanation. Perhaps you get a certain opinion about a person and dislike them or feel good about them straight away, even when you don't know anything of them other than the vibe that you get.

Many of the skills that clairvoyants have are simply just another heightened sixth sense of the five, well-known ones we use everyday. Think of it as our survival instinct, which we all use in our every day lives, but at an advanced level of that branches out into our spiritual selves and the world around us. With practice, these abilities can be taken to a whole new level.

Interpreting A Clairvoyant Reading

By Julie Durdel

A clairvoyant is a person who has the psychic power of clairvoyance, a gift of the sixth sense by which he can see the past and the future of another.

The term clairvoyance is made up of the two words 'clair' and 'voyance' meaning 'clear' 'viewing' respectively. The psychic power of clairvoyance leads to the psychic being able to see and perceive things which are otherwise hidden from the normal senses.

Prevalent since the ancient age, clairvoyant reading has been known to be of much interest to people since it has the inherent ability to foresee and comment about someone's future. Since future prediction is something that men have always been interested in, clairvoyant reading has been sought for since then till today's World Wide Web era. If you take some time out and surf the internet, you will come across hundreds of websites claiming to provide accurate clairvoyant reading of your future. In most cases, online clairvoyant reading is done through the tarot cards.

Tarot Cards may be the most widely used clairvoyant tool nowadays, but it should be stated that 'clairvoyant reading' in the truest sense of the term refers only to 'seeing' or 'visualizing' instead of mere interpretation of cards. In this regard it is also to be contrasted with the sciences of astrology and numerology which are involved in planetary projections and mathematical calculations respectively without any 'visualization' part to it.

A clairvoyant simply gets a vision by seeing a person or his picture and sees and perceives certain things from the energy field or the aura emanating for that person. Moreover, once you personally meet an actual clairvoyant, chances are that he/she will know you much more then you yourself do. Hence, a bonding of friendship between your clairvoyant reader should be a common thing. Not only perceiving you as the person you are, seeing your past and commenting on your future, he/she will also be empathetic and would help you in tiding over any crisis or sad situations that you might meet in the near future. In this way clairvoyant reading is not merely about going to a psychic person and paying some money to foresee your future, rather it is the start of a lifelong friendship which will give you more understanding about yourself and guide you in the tough times of your life.

It should be concluded that clairvoyant reading ability is something that cannot be tested with the help of a psychic test since it is different for different people and moreover different for the same person reading different people. Like all other psychic abilities, this one also has its share of skepticism with people calling it mere guess work and act of the fraudsters.

But a belief that has been in practice through centuries by different cultures might well have stronger roots than commonly believed. Starting from ancient shamanic beliefs to the cold war days, clairvoyant reading is something psychic, which is used but still mocked at by non-believers but an experience felt and lived by only a chosen few.

Getting To Know The Concept Behind Depression

By Tina Sykes

Depression is a disease than can affect anyone at nearly any age. It can be hard to diagnose. Sometimes it's hard to tell if a person is going through a temporary sadness or is truly clinically depressed.

Adults that suffer from depression experience a variety of negative feelings, including sadness, guilt, hopelessness, worthlessness, anxiety, irritability, fatigue and helplessness. They may lose interest in things they've loved or activities they enjoyed. Their memory might lapse or they may have trouble concentrating. Often they have a tough time making decisions.

Depression isn't always easy to detect. A casual observer may not be able to pick up on the warning signs or sense a problem. To make matters worse, those suffering from depression are often in denial.

When you're talking about children and depression, the symptoms can be similar to adults. Youth may feel cranky and irritable. Like adults they can lose interest in their favorite past times or friends.

Children may complain of headaches and stomachaches, as well. Their performance in school can also an indicator of a depression. If they start skipping school, their grades drop or if they act out it could be because of depression.

When children suffer from depression they often use music to connect with their negative feelings. They listen to music that represents the turmoil they are feeling. They may talk about or attempt running away or suicide.

Depression is something people should be aware of because of the effects it can have on the sufferer. Pay attention to the warning signs and see if anyone you love is displaying them.

Sometimes pivotal moments in someone's life will trigger depression. This can include a death, abuse, an attack or experience a disaster like hurricane Katrina. Be sure to keep your eyes open if anyone you know is going through a hard time. You may be able to get them help before it's too late.

Understanding The 7 Chakra

By Indari Dahl

Each human body has a number of energy centers located in its subtle within, which are power centers of energy reception and transmission. These seven wheel like force whorls are known as the 7 chakra coming from the Sanskrit origin of the term 'Chakram'. It can be said that these 7 chakras are linked to the major nerve ganglia of our spinal cord and reflects not only the physical, but also the emotional, psychological and spiritual wellbeing of an individual.

The lowest on the vertical line of the 7 chakras, lie the Muladhar Chakra at the last bone in the spinal cord between the genitals and the anus. Symbolized by a red lotus with 4 petals, it is known as the Base or Root Chakra and it stands for identity, group force, survival and instinct. This chakra is about what a man is and where he belongs, his tribal or group identity. You can feel this group force when you see your country win the gold medal or while watching the national parade, hearing the national anthem and so on.

The second of the 7 chakras is that of Swadhisthana which is symbolized by an orange, six petalled lotus and is located above the Muladhar Chakra in the human sacrum. Known to become distinct since the age of 7, it stands physically for reproduction while mentally for relationships, partnership, making choices, basic emotional needs, and pleasure.

The third of the 7 chakra is the Manipura Chakra symbolized by a yellow lotus with 10 petals. After the group power and power of self and others given by the previous two chakras, the Manipura Chakra is all about power of self. That is, it stands for one's personal power, his personality, individuality, self esteem and self respect and becomes distinct since the time of puberty in man. Located in the pancreas region of the body, it is physically linked to the entire metabolism and digestive system of man.

The fourth of the 7 chakra is the Anahata Chakra located at the centre of the chakra system and being the center power house of the same. Symbolized by a green lotus with 12 petals, it is where the body meets the spirit and earth meets heaven. Seat to complex emotions towards spirituality it is all about unconditional love, trust, hope, inspiration and the like. Needless to say that it is located near the heart and thus is physically related to it and the entire immune system of man.

The Vishuddha Chakra is the fifth amongst the 7 chakras and stands for communication, expression, growth and maturity. Symbolized by a blue lotus with 16 petals, it is located at the throat beside the thyroid gland and is known as the power of will chakra.

The sixth of the 7 chakra is symbolized by a white or indigo lotus with two petals which is known as the third eye chakra located at the eyebrow region in the forehead. Physically related to the pineal gland which governs the cycles of sleep and wakefulness, this sixth chakra subtly is the controller of one's mind power, inner psyche and conscious and sub conscious realms of our psychological forces. Known as the Wisdom Chakra the key issues here are the separation of truth from illusion where detachment from subjective perceptions occur for progression towards opening up the one's conscious towards the ultimate truth.

The seventh or the top most of the 7 chakras is the violet thousand petalled lotus of the Sahasrara Chakra. This spiritually enlightened chakra stands for the release of karma and realization of the full potential of man through meditation. It is through this Chakra that an individual gains knowledge about the ultimate and final universal truth and realizes the immortality and omnipotence of his soul enjoying divine joy and lasting peace.

What Do I Do When Someone's Loved One Is Dying?

By Marilyn Morris

A news of a dying loved one can make us undergo a series of emotional turmoils. Most of religions have their own interpretations of what happens to us after death. Whether we are members of a religion or not, it is natural for us to experience a certain degree of fear when we talk about death especially when we cannot exactly know what our loved one is experiencing.

Fear makes us react with a "flight or fight" response. News about a loved one's approaching death makes it difficult for us to share what has happened with others. We start to disregard our daily routine and spend more time for visits. Or, you start to show angst towards the medical factors such as the doctor's diagnosis of your loved one. Difficult emotions begin to pile up, and since we cannot run away or fight off death, these emotions can be harnessed in other aspects of our lives, such as our jobs or personal relationships.

Family tensions that are normal on a day to day basis may become heightened as we shift our feelings from the situation we cannot ultimately control. One example of the "flight response" is how the distant aunt or close by son who is reluctant to visit may become the focus of attention. And this transfer of underlying emotions can easily shift between "flight" and "fight." A small issue could become an angry confrontation. The aunt or son, for example, might very well eventually arrive for a visit, but because they too were struggling with their own "flight" response and arrived somewhat later than everyone else, may find themselves the recipients of angry stares or remarks.

These are part of the "pre-grieving" which is also known as "anticipatory grief" by chaplains, medical staff, and social workers. We must be aware of the hidden fear amongst the different emotions we experience before and during our visits with our loved one. It is necessary that we recognize this fear as a natural response towards a vexing situation. This helps us find a constructive outlet for our pent-up emotions through caring for our loved ones and providing them the most comfortable scenario during their final moments.

Once we overcome our fears toward death and dying, we begin to see that our loved ones are having similar or even stronger feelings about the entire situation. Our energies can be harnessed toward giving them comfort and encouragement. How we do this relies on how close we are with the dying person as well as their own personalities. Dying is a serious matter, but it need not be dismal. A healthy dose of humor can be an excellent way for family and friends to be with their loved one.

In all of this, take your cues from the one who is dying. If they are up to a gentle playfulness, engage them in a story you know they will enjoy, perhaps a well known family faux pas or something silly the newest nephew or niece recently said. Hold their hand, look into their eyes. You, your loved one and surrounding family and friends will discover once again that love is the most powerful emotion we humans have, and that while it cannot change the fact that death is a difficult experience, it can uplift us through those times, leaving us with abiding memories of the last time(s) we were with our loved one.

Astral Projection For Beginners

By Ian Newton

When a person is able to keep his body asleep but keep his mind wakeful and focused so as to project his astral body outside his physical body to the different realms of consciousness or astral planes, he is known to be capable of astral projection.

Astral Projection for beginners is a tough nut to crack since astral travel pr se is an extremely difficult ability to develop and for beginners the route starts with a lot of failures. Understandably, beginners become frustrated and distressed over the inability to travel to other astral planes making the process all the more difficult.

Astral Projection for beginners must start with the management of the physical world. The first and the foremost thing to do would be to arrange for a calm and quiet room where there are minimal chances of any disturbances, whether human or electronic. Try not to have non vegetarian food or items like caffeine which increases body heat and cause too many thoughts to run about in the mind. A good way to start would be to roam around this dimly lit room thinking of all your life's problem s and an outlandish solution to them which in turn would do away with all the surface thoughts in your mind.

Astral Projection for beginners thereafter requires attaining a condition of a deep trance. This condition can be attained by relaxing your body at first and making it go to sleep while you keep your mind awake and focused. You can relax each inch of your body by tensing the muscles up at first and then relaxing them part by part till the time they turn rigid. Thereafter, imagine yourself to be sinking down or descending a long flight of stairs. Breathe and sink a little more being careful to relax to your body but not falling asleep.

The third step consists of concentration which needs a lot of practice. After you have attained a deep trance, concentrate on a monotonous noise or visualization which would not let any stray thoughts enter your mind. Regular meditation helps a lot in case of beginners. One of the best strategy is to concentrate on something at the back of your head, preferably not a person. Doing this helps to focus your mind on a difficult spot which cannot be seen with your eyes and is a great technique in case of astral projection for beginners.

The fourth step is to be able to direct your energy and channelize it into the direction that you want. Firstly, feel and be aware of the energy flowing in you. Feel the tingling sensation in your spine and let yourself be engulfed with the free flowing force. After you are aware of your energy and can feel it flowing within, attempt to direct it towards your palms and thereafter tray to make an imaginary ball with the energy at the end of your finger tips. In this way you will be able to direct and control your energy into the object of your concentration.

The last step in astral projection for beginners involve the actual separation of your body from your astral self. In case of beginners, or for that matter anybody else, it is the most vital and crucial stage. For beginners, the best way to do this would be to visualize floating or even climbing out of your own body with a rope and then direct all your attention and channelize all your energies into this vision charging it up so as to counter the pull from your body.

Remember that astral projection for beginners can be as short as few seconds but the main hindrances lie in the distress and frustration that people feel with failed attempts at first as well as the apprehensions regarding whether one can return back to their bodies after astral travel. In the first case, your body will not let you go while in the second case, your astral self would be sucked back into the body immediately. Hence, clear your mind from all negative thoughts and meditate in order to achieve those esoteric heights. Remember that practice and more practice is the only way towards experiencing something great like astral travel.

Mastering Astral Projection - Is It Possible?

By Bonita Symes

Mastering Astral Projection involves mastering the art of separating your conscious from your physical body and traveling from the latter towards another higher astral plane. Ancient religious practitioners were known to be experts in this and could transcend the physical boundaries of the universe by traveling to higher astral planes.

Esoteric believers and numerous individuals today are much interested in mastering astral projection of self into the higher subtle conscious realms. Though a bit eerie, but this is an experience of a lifetime since it involves leaving you own body and observing it from a distance. Moreover you can travel as far away as you want and observe the world from your astral body.

Firstly, in mastering astral projection, you need to have faith in yourself and truly belief that you can separate your aura, astral body or conscious from your physical body making it move freely to ethereal realms. The best way to do this is to write down all your thoughts on life and reality, thereafter write down all the positive things that you want to see happening and affirm your mind regarding the latter

Meditation is the second element which is crucial for mastering astral projection. Through meditation one achieves increased self awareness with knowledge about his true self and potential. It facilitates calming one's mind, increasing awareness and control over one's subconscious and helps in visualizing and focusing all of his energy and attention towards that vision which is very important in case of mastering astral projection.

Thirdly, mastering astral projection includes the very crucial element of time. The perfect time in which to induce such a projection is during REM sleep. Humans sleep in four stages with each stage becoming deeper than the previous one. After the last stage of very deep sleep, the cycle reverses till it comes to the phase of the REM or rapid eye movement phase where the brain activity is at its maximum. This is the time which is the most conducive for mastering astral projection.

Now that you are mentally ready for astral travel, lie down in a dimly lit or candle lit room preferably in light clothes. Remember that no electrical equipment should be switched on to distract you and abstain from having too much food, especially items like non-vegetarian or caffeine. Try to mimic the REM sleep mode, let your body rest, but keep your mind awake and focused. Start with meditating and being aware of yourself and the energy flowing in you. Channel this energy into a vision of you floating up from your body or you can even visualize a rope and yourself climbing up by it.

The hindrance factor in case of astral projection is the fear or anxiousness in the minds of the person regarding returning back to his physical body. Always remember that having faith and belief is the most important thing and even the slightest doubt regarding such things will not let the projection to be successful. Secondly, even if you manage to travel to a higher plane and suddenly get scared in traveling to far away from the body then your astral body would suddenly be pulled in into your physical body.

Lastly, technological interventions like that of the binaural beats can be used in creating the mental state that is conducive to astral projection. Binaural Beats involve hearing two different sound vibrations through both ears which fuses into each other and synchronized in the brain so as to create the required mental state. Whatever technique is used, mastering astral projection is not particularly easy and needs high mind power. However, once achieved, it is an experience of a lifetime which forces open many a doors to your personality which you may not have known before.

8 Things About Life You Need To Know

By Queenie Ang

1. Friends Are Not Around Forever

Neither my friends at high school nor those at college stand with me after I have moved from UK to South Africa.

Friends will always come and go in your life; even though I'm back in the UK now, all my friends are in university around the country and not exactly in meeting distance. It can be a hard thing to accept, but many of the friends you spend time with now, might not be around in the next few years.

Important Lesson: There are an abundance of amazing people out there for you to meet and build relationships with. If you don't have many friends, don't stress, there are literally billions of friendship possibilities.

2. Not Every Wish Comes True

Once a DJ, I asked for nothing but some used turntables as Christmas presents. But no one answered my prayer and I had to use my own savings to buy them.

Things don't go according to your every wish: people show up late, people disappoint you, things are sold out.

Remember: Happiness lies not in how much you have got. We must learn to digest unfilled wishes. Stop wasting time mourning over unhappy happenings.

3. Many People Will Love You, but Many Will Not

Whether you are a celebrity, a charity worker or just a normal guy, there are going to be people that love you and what you do, but there's also going to be plenty people that don't like you. There are many possible reasons such as jealousy, similarities to them, or just not being someone's 'type'.

Remember: While there are people who like you, some are going to dislike you. Pay no mind to their gossiping. Stay true to yourself. Don't change yourself for their approval.

4. You Are Your Own Transformer

Life would be much easier if we could make ourselves orators by simply reading a blog or have a share of our friends' success. But your life is yours and you are the one who make decisions for yourself.

Remember: Be down-to-earth and independent. Transform your life with your own hands, not others'.

5. Failure Is Inevitable

I built more than 7 websites before I created one that actually started making me any money. I even put hundreds of hours into my own company that I actually closed down last month. Whether it is exams, projects, companies, or even the odd pub quiz, there are times when you will fail to meet your goals. As the saying goes - "Only those who are asleep make no mistakes".

Important Lesson: You can learn a lot from others, but it is your own failures that are going to teach you the most valuable lessons in life. Learn from your failures, embrace them, and use them to drive you on to success.

6. It Rains From Time To Time

On some occasions when you have your shorts on and you're ready for the beach, it's going to rain. Or, when you get to that first hole and you're ready to tee off - the clouds will open. Things aren't always going to go how you would like them to.

Remember: Not everything can be under control. Things happen out of the blue. If you can't change the situation, learn to change your attitude.

7. There May Be No Tomorrow

We are not sure of the exact day, but that day will come eventually. Who doesn't want to live as long as one wishes? But we all know it is impossible.

Remember: Seize the day. Say what you want to say now. Do what you want to do now.

8. You Can't Have The Most

You can't be the owner of the most cash, the most friends or the most fans. But it doesn't mean you are not missing anything.

Important Lesson: Just because someone has 'more', that doesn't mean they are happy. Read the biography of any celebrity and they will tell you they enjoy their process of earning money, rather than what money can do to make them happy. In other words, focus on what you love, not what the thing you love can get you.

The Rise And Fall Of Civilizations

By Aaron Miller

Oswald Spengler was a German historian and thinker famous for The Decline of the West, a book that set forth the cyclical theory of the rise and fall of civilizations. He used to be a German patriot and leading competitor of the Weimar Republic, the interwar liberal democracy that predated the Nazis' third Reich. But Spengler believed the Nazis too narrow-minded for the sort of cultural rebirth that he felt necessary, and soon the disillusionment was returned as the Nazis banned his books.

Born Oswald Arnold Gottfried Spengler in 1880 to an often conservative petit-bourgeois family, he gave his life to a wide-ranging scholarship that included investigations in humanities and letters as well as mathematics and the sciences. But for all his interests, his life was spent uneventfully as a high school teacher, later living off his modest inheritance while taking odd jobs as a mentor or independent writer for additional revenue.

But because his inheritance was based mostly on overseas investments, the economic sanctions against Germany during World War I forced Spengler to live in real misery. Yet it was actually the Great War that assisted his book become an overnight sensation as its pessimism reflected the popular mood and helped rationalize the nations defeat and shame as part of a wider historic process. Interestingly the book also sold very well outside Germany and allowed him enough income to reject an offer to become a philosophy lecturer at the University of Gttingen.

As mentioned previously, Spengler was a product of his times and a thorough chauvinist, but he didn't share the Nazis' anti-Semitic ideology and found Hitler coarse and crude, even after a personal meeting in 1933. He even went so far as to quarrel in public with leading Nazis theorists of the time, talking out against their pseudo-scientific hypotheses on biology and sociology.

Finding A Therapist Or Counselor Who's Meets Your Needs

By Mark Tinley

If you've been in therapy previously, you probably know it's a life-changing process. If you never have, you may not know the things to look for in a therapist or counselor. Either way, you might not know what questions to ask a prospective counselor.

Often before people begin therapy, they've tried just about everything else to make changes in their lives. But nothing has worked - at least not for very long. As the emotional discomfort turns to anguish, it's not uncommon for people to ask themselves, "Why not try therapy? I have to do something to stop the pain."

Alas, whenever we're hurting significantly, we often don't think clearly, and numerous people turn to counseling and therapy (be it for individual psychotherapy, couples therapy, or family counseling) without questioning the prospective counselor.

But nevertheless, there is significantly more to picking a mental health professional than picking up a phone and making an appointment.

Asking the Right Questions

Almost anyone may call himself or herself a counselor, so choosing someone to work with on the basis of this title offers little insight into the person's credentials, training or credibility and almost no protection should you receive poor service.

Titles along the lines of marriage and family therapist, licensed clinical social worker, psychologist or psychiatrist are only allowed to be used by professionals with the matching qualifications who've acquired specialized education and instruction.

Moreover, licensed mental health professionals such as these ought to be members in good standing with their associated licensing entities. Verifying a license will allow you to discover something concerning the instruction and training the mental health professional has gone through and gives you some degree of safety should you receive inadequate or inappropriate treatment.

Yet, verifying a mental health professional's license and credentials doesn't give you a great deal of information regarding their specialized learning, experience and whether they'll be able to meet your needs.

The only way you can know if a counselor or therapist is qualified to provide you the services you need is to ask them direct questions, such as:

What age ranges do you treat?

What problems do you work with?

What kind of education and training have you had?

How long have you been providing therapy?

Have you been in therapy?

How do you work with clients that helps them get better?

Do you participate in any professional groups?

Do you update your education and training?

You needn't ask every one of these - especially in an initial appointment when you need lots of time to talk yourself. But do ask them. And trust your impression of safety with the psychotherapist in the initial session. Perhaps the most significant determinant of effective counseling is the bond or "fit" between both you and your psychotherapist. Unless you feel relaxed and safe with your psychotherapist, it will be practically impossible for you to do the deep, insightful work needed to heal and thrive.

Beyond ascertaining the credentials, training, and competencies of a therapist and how relaxed and secure you are using them, the therapist will want to ask several questions regarding you and your situation. They too need to ensure there is a good match relating your personality, expectations and aims with who they are and the treatments they provide.

The therapist is likely to ask you what brings you to counseling, as well as about your family and overall background. They will often also inquire about your childhood, schooling, social relationships, intimate partnerships, professional and current circumstances.

Keep in mind, even the best counselors aren't the best for everyone, and no therapist can effectively treat anything and everything. When you're looking for a therapist, ask for an example of an issue that is beyond the scope of their practice, or that they are insufficiently trained to treat. If they can't or won't answer, you've just eliminated a possibility. All therapists should be willing to refer you to other providers upon request.

Where to Start Your Search

To find a counselor or therapist that's right for you, start your search by asking your physician, clergy or other professional service providers you trust for referrals.

You may also ask trusted friends or family, or you can search the Internet for counselors in your area. But be aware, an exceptional ad or Web page isn't going to make a therapist skilled or experienced. Ask the therapist about their education and expertise directly, regardless of whether you obtain a recommendation from a reliable source.

As with selecting any service provider, doing due diligence and making an informed determination about whom to use increases the likelihood that counseling will be effective and allow you to achieve your objectives. Don't be self-conscious or scared to ask direct questions... After all, this can be about your health, well-being and future happiness!

Looking At Manifesting

By Simone Walker

The term manifesting means making things visible, noticeable or perceivable, that can be perceived by the senses. Thus, the word can also be interpreted as making something happen so that it can be perceived by the senses.

For example, if you have a dream of becoming a great singer, then manifesting your desire would mean making your dream come true n reality so that people can see and hear you singing. This manifesting your dreams into reality is the subject matter of this discussion.

In manifesting your desires, the primary steps are those of unlearning and relearning. You need to first unlearn what you have been made to believe since childhood and then relearn about certain truths which were never taught. Our parents and teachers have always told us that one's aims in life or dreams can only come true with the correct opportunities, luck and of course hard work. But did anybody ever told you about the infinite powers your mind has. That you could manifest any of your desires by the sheer power of your thoughts and the focusing your positive energy in that direction? Yet the answer is no.

Sounding impossible? But the fact is that anything is possible in this universe with the power of positive energy. If you focus on that one thing which you want the most, focus all your attention and energy on it so much so that you can actually visualize it happening and have faith that it will happen, then you will see your dreams manifest itself into reality.

Everything in the universe is energy. If you seek the explanation of the ultimate truth or the origin of the universe, whichever path you choose be it science or spirituality, ultimately you will come to the concept of energy. Energy can be present either as a wavelength or in a particle form. In case of energy in a particle form, it is perceivable with your five senses. You can see and touch it. But in case of energy in the wavelength form, it is free flowing and has full potential with all possibilities attached to it.

In case of manifesting, if one focuses all his attention on a particular thing and directs all his energies on it, it will manifest itself in the way the person desires.

In discussing how one can manifest his desires into reality, apart from its wavelength, two other aspects of amplitude and frequency needs to be talked about. While amplitude means the amount of energy present, frequency refers to the no. of times it is repeated. Hence, in chalking out the steps in manifesting your desires, it can be said that manifesting can be done in three steps. Firstly, reach the energy wavelength by focusing all your attention on the thing that you want the most. Direct all the power that your thoughts on it and ask it from the universe. Secondly increase the amplitude of the energy.

Visualize yourself attaining the object of your desire and charge this vision or image with the energy of your emotions. Lastly increase the frequency of the energy by repeatedly and constantly doing the above. Thus, the power of your positive energy, faith an belief would ultimately result in the manifestation of your desires and shape your fate the way you want it to be.

Food For Your Body And Soul

By Masami Sato

As the age old adage says, health is wealth. Here we are speaking about soul's wealth. Nutritious food is good for one's health because body can absorb its essence - it is ditto with our life. When we espouse life in its entirety, enjoying all the impressions and sensations in it, our soul will be able to take in its 'quintessence', coming to terms with the core of our existence, and helping us to live our lives to the highest. Masami Sato shares the mystery of living a complete life in this excerpt from her latest book, ONE.

Why is it that many of us, (actually, most of us) now and then feel some sort of a barren sensation in our lives? It is like being ravenous. When we eat, we are satiated and become slightly indifferent to food. But after some time, we once again feel like having food. Then suddenly we are drawn again to the aroma and picture of food. We can also feel strange pangs of hunger when we are not actually craving for food - just after having eaten something. Some of us have a craving all the time.

Persistent emotional thirst is not the happiest feeling to have. Then how can we live our lives to the brim? How can we be more contented enduringly?

Maybe the answer is simple: just live our lives as a whole. The word 'whole' holds the meaning of completion. Then the secret to live a complete life is simply to live it as a whole.

Let us begin by looking at an example of this 'completion' with something very close to our mind - our stomach.

Whole Food VS Part Food

We are familiar with the word 'whole food.' It is said that consuming whole food is the secret to the health and fitness we need. What has whole food got more than 'part food?'

A complete grain pulsates with a life of its own. If one keeps the complete grain in water, drains it off and keeps it for a few days, it germinates. It has got a full life. When we consume such an item, our body absorbs the full spectrum nourishment. It has the ability to clean, cure and nourish various body cells.

And exactly like the example of a grain, much of customary eating includes consuming whole edible creatures as well. Eating full fresh fish used to be more prevalent than having a half of it and casting the rest away. It was exactly so for meat and every edible plant product.

'Half food' sometimes has more sweetness and flavour but not much other nutrition. We like its taste, but we could develop a long-term illness if we only ate 'half food' every day of our life.

So, to compensate the absent half, we started to have dietary supplements. We have been analysing and learning for quite some time to reach the correct balance. It becomes more and more problematical as we chop up the food, process it and ship it, and even try to make up the deficiency with other parts that have its origin in other countries, seasons or sources. Some of these supplements do not even come from natural food sources. They are artificially made. After testing and analysing, it is endorsed to be edible. But no matter how much we strive; we cannot bring all the 'bits' together to make it alive and pulsating.

Part Life-'Sweetness' of Life

So, if we view our life now, a lot of what we are doing is akin to eating 'semi food.' Just relishing the sweet taste of life but discarding the actual nourishing part. And if we immerse this 'semi life' in water with other bits and kept it under the sun, could it sprout and develop into a lovely full life?

Whole food is not (as some people seem to believe) of a bland taste. In fact it tastes better if cooked properly. But as requirement is low, it is more costly. It is in reality more cost-effective in the long term though, as we will have to pay less as medical costs later on. When more people will start having it, it would automatically become less expensive as it is a simple food with less processing cost and waste.

Our life is the same. When we only appreciate the 'sweetness', and throw away the rest in rubbish bins because we don't see its value, we may be wasting the most important part. And the part we throw away could have the greatest power for the sustainability of our life and our economy. It also takes more energy and resources to discard it. Better yet, the part we throw away is free.

So, what is it that we do not perceive?

Imagine a life where we didn't really feel we were missing anything there.

The secret is right here. The secret of a full life.

Full Life-The Complete Life

When it's 'whole', it doesn't matter how big the whole is. It can expand simultaneously. It can still contain all the elements to sustain itself as a whole living being. Once it grows to a certain size, it can still live without some of the parts. Like plants can live after being eaten a little by birds or trees still thrive even after losing their leaves. But if we neglect the balance for a very long time, eventually it can start creating a fatal imbalance. Then it could become too complicated to get back into balance.

We don't have to go back to the Stone Age to find the wholeness. Wholeness exists right now. All we need do is look closely; look closely enough to really see.

When we can see our life as an entirety and resist jettisoning what feeds our life the most, we start feeling more and more satisfied without searching for 'material' to fill the depressions and vacuums of our life. Everything finally finds its level. We now recognize the entire apparatus of the world in a very altered way.

Yes, it is now time to learn how we can form (and find) this equilibrium constantly and manageably.

The real nourishing part of our life is what makes us feel good deep down. It is like the part of food that makes our body become healthy in the long-term. Feelings we experience in our everyday life are the real key to our long-term happiness. And there are feelings that make us feel more complete.

The smiles we see when we give acknowledgements to others. The joy we feel when we give gifts to others. The love we feel when we see our children being happy. The inspirations we receive when we feel our life is full of meaning

Let us absorb these moments of our life wholeheartedly and savour the aroma of our full life. Then we will find how it is not obligatory to incessantly fill our heart (and belly!) with earthly satisfactions - those types of things that only add to our yearnings afterwards.

We can actually sense this pleasure, gratefulness and ardour in order to be aware of life as a whole at any moment despite the conditions. It is not about what we find, what we learn or what we accomplish that finalize our life in its entirety. It is about what we 'elect to' experience about our life.

Yes, our life in fact is already whole.

When we initiate taking actions based on this knowledge, we can have real control over the balance creation - enduring health, prosperity, enriching connection and delight.

Can We Have Abundance In Our Lives?

By Ingrid Courts

Do you have the perfect life? Then you are probably one of the lucky few in life that gets to experience that awesome feeling of abundance. Or you may think that you do. Many people mistake being rich for this feeling as some think that endless amounts of money can buy you anything. That famous saying, 'money can't buy you love' also applies to feeling abundant. It is like baking a cake you need more than just flour to make a cake.

Material things cannot create a state of true happiness in one's own self for any lengthy period of time. They can create a source of insecurity and in some cases replace feelings of love or guilt. Have you ever heard of a mega rich tycoon being happy with just one super car? Probably not. If you had abundance in your life there would not be this need for constant self gratification.

Having abundance is one of the greatest feelings in the world. You will understand your own heart and be able to train your subconscious into a better way of thinking and feeling. It is a sensation we all deep down want to achieve in life. It is a feeling of being at peace with one's self and of those around us.

We don't want to earn more money or chase the dream of winning the lottery neither are we embarrassed if we earn more than those around us just because we are good at our job or enjoy doing our job. As demonstrated there are many ways of reaching this feeling of wealth once you have reached this stage and understood its true meaning can you begin to understand that true feeling of abundance.

So now you say well I am financially well off I can afford what most people can't, I should count myself lucky right? Wrong! If you said well I am well of drive a nice car, own my own house have a great network of friends and a gorgeous wife and three kids. Surely I must have abundance in my life if I have money and friends and family? You still probably do not.

Ask yourself these questions: Do you feel happy inside? Do you worry about your health? Are you overweight or suffer any medical issues like high blood pressure or even stress? In all probability you may feel that not everything now is rosy in your life.

Looking after your body is only one half of your health and getting closer to achieving that feeling of abundance. You need to look after your mind. Stressing out over the littlest things or worrying about those things which are simply not in your control, will not help you. You need to find a way of healing your mind and reaching that abundant feeling.

Imagine you were wealthy with lots of money and a picture of physical health but with no true love or friends that cared about you? Now think what it would be like to feel satisfied with your income, feel healthy and have great family, friends and a partner. Still want to be rich or do you want that awesome feeling of abundance?

Depression In The Holiday Season

By Chuck Sugar

With the ups and downs of life (not to mention the holidays!) come lots of emotions. One of them can be times of sadness which is perfectly normal, but when does sadness fall into depression? Do you feel like you are depressed or are your friends saying you might be depressed? If so, you are not alone. Depression is a common problem but there is also a lot more help with depression than you may realize.

To begin, what is depression and how do you know if you have it? It is hard to say since it affects everyone differently. There are some basic similarities though. It can come on subtly or with an overwhelming trauma. It can even come on with a memory.

Depression can come on and you may not even notice it. Because it comes on slowly, little by little it may have taken it's toll with you unaware. It is similar to the way we don't notice how much our kids have grown but a distant relative who doesn't see the child everyday notices the growth spurt significantly. So is depression unnoticed by the person experiencing it. You see it everyday yet it goes by unnoticed.

Anxiety, fear, sadness, and pain are all the beginning stages of what can lead into depression. It slowly becomes worse and become severe. Sleeping, eating, basic everyday tasks is a challenge. You may feel numb or unmoved and your weight may change one way or another. Your concentration is nil and you avoid groups, social activities and become more alone.

Things that you used to do at one time are no longer enjoyable. Easy jobs are avoided and simple things like opening the mail, answering phone calls or daily chores become monumental.

First, what does depression feel like? It is hard to pinpoint the feelings of depression because many people experience it differently. Some basic similarities are: 1. You are experiencing feelings of consistent irritability, sadness or anger. 2. Nothing seems interesting or fun anymore. 3. You feel bad about yourself feeling worthless, guilty and "wrong" or you don't fit in. 4. Your sleeping habits are all messed up. You sleep too much or not enough. 5. You have a lot of unexplained headaches or other physical problems. 6. You cry easily. 7. Your weight is different. You are either losing or gaining without any effort. 8. Your concentration is poor and your work habits are poor. 9. You are helpless and hopeless and your general outlook on life is negative. 10. You may be thinking about death or suicide or some way to escape. Second, if you have thoughts of suicide or have a tendency to want to escape, what do you do with those thoughts and what answers are there if you are feeling them? Sometimes these thoughts can be scary and overwhelming. If you feel you are thinking in this way, and do not see any solutions you should get help right away. When in this state of emotions it is hard to talk to others, but it is well worth it to reach out to a pastor or counselor in your area to talk through your thoughts and feelings and to get a professional, objective opinion and help!

Talk to Someone about your depression. Just talking to a counselor, someone that is sworn to confidentiality, can really ease a lot of the stress and irrational thoughts that come with depression. Things may seem hopeless, but rarely are.

When you write a diary, or journal or a note to yourself, you can help mend those negative feelings in your head. It is therapeutic to take those thoughts out and have them in front of you on paper to read. If you are concerned someone may read them, throw them away. It is still going to benefit you by allowing you to see more objectively. Soon, by doing this, healing takes place say the one's who have experienced this first hand. It also helped them love themselves again once they spent some time getting those hurt feelings out in the forefront.

Identify your thoughts, emotions, and actions. This is a simple exercise used in counseling. This is where you take one issue that is bothering you and break it down into 4 categories. You must keep it to one issue.

First, describe the situation. For example, I am angry that my husband is late again for dinner.

Second, write about your thoughts of what happened. For example, "if he loved me he would not have been late."

Third, write down things you are actually feeling. Your emotions of hurt, sadness, fear of abandonment, guilty, etc. Or write a sentence like, "I am angry because he acts like he doesn't care about me as much as his career."

Finally, explain on paper the path you are choosing to act out. For example, I am choosing to isolate myself because it makes me feel better about myself. The honesty in which you do this will unveil a heart you can view and start to heal.

Those that chose the path to end their lives yet failed were sharing how they became hopeful only after their thoughts were shared and they grew to understand the depression. They realized their feelings were temporary and easier to deal with.

You have heard that time heals but only if you are healing. Time can make your heart harder and you become more and more withdrawn and indifferent. Take the challenge to help your healing grow stronger.

PS. If your depression has gotten to the point where you are having thoughts of ending your life, please call 911 and get some help immediately. Or call a counselor, who will know how to help.

Helpful Info Concerning Studying Philosophy

By Lauretta Hamalainen

You can really have a hard time studying philosophy in some instances.

Due to the fact that philosophy is formed with beliefs and thoughts about subjects, you can find it hard to have a right answer.

Due to the lack of right or wrong answers, you might find it troublesome to study aspects of philosophy.

I have some philosophy study tips that can really give you that edge and help your grades come up.

To begin with, you have to attend every single one of your lectures, as you will learn from them far more than you will with your texts.

The best way to learn philosophy and develop your own skills is to go to discussions and debates. The famous philosopher Socrates never used to write down any of his philosophy he just used to speak them out loud.

It's important in philosophy that you take into consideration other peoples views. Even if you're sure their theory is wrong try to think of it from their point of view and why they think it's right. When you understand someone's theory you can better decide what's wrong about it.

When it comes to philosophy, the key is to talk at length about whatever subject you are on. As you write your essays and papers, try not to gloss over your theories.

As you keep going, you will improve on your skills at philosophy. If you want additional help, you could join a study group or debate group, as you can get practice in arguing your point and learning the opinions of others.

Be sure to thoroughly go over your study material, multiple times if necessary, as long as it can help you absorb the information better. Remember as much as you can for the exams by paying attention and taking notes during the class lectures.

If you follow these tips then you'll find it much easier to excel in philosophy.

The Benefits Of Manifestation

By William J Hill

To find out if we need to know what manifestation is and why we need it. Manifestation is something that occurs deep within our own minds. It is a development of an idea, thought, need or desire. Once we have achieved what we seek then it manifests itself. Manifestation is the process and culmination of these things that helps develop the outcome.

We need manifestation because it can help us achieve so much more in life and sometimes even better. It helps with ever growing problem of work life balance. It can help give you direction where you once felt lost. Give you more time to concentrate on what really matters to you and not worry about the little things in life.

We all think we lead hectic lives running around trying to please everyone, working as hard as we can at work and even running around just so we can have a relaxing weekend. It does not have to be like that, rush, and rush all the time. With manifestation we can stop the clock and slow down and relax more and be just happy.

Manifestation brings about a great sense of satisfaction, purpose and achievement in one's self when you have thought really long and hard what you want out of life and then gone out there and helped to manifest it.

Manifestation needs the right kind of attitude. You need to be able to focus on your goals in life and be specific about them. It's no good saying you want to be rich. Who doesn't want to be rich? You have to be more specific like I want to be rich selling houses for example. Then you need to install confidence in yourself and be committed to a plan of action. Start telling yourself that you can do it over and over again out loud to yourself. This may sound silly but it will install belief in you and confidence which will eventually manifest itself in your chosen goal of being rich by selling houses.

Politicians use it all the time. They have a goal to stay in power or win power. They need to give the public what they want. For example lower taxes may win them power. This is a big task that needs to be broken down focusing on the main taxes i.e. income tax and Value Added Tax. Staying committed to this main area and constantly concentrating on it with willpower and confidence oozing showing the public you know what you are doing works.

Manifestation will help you make sense of your life better. Tell you want you really want in life; look at something a bit more different and appreciate what is going on around you. It's a whole new lifestyle something you have probably wanted for years. It will not happen overnight but give it a chance and it will.

Manifestation helps you efficiently use your mind more effectively leading to a better and happier style of life. Only you can help yourself at the end of the day. Nobody should have to be second best in life or unhappy with life.

Why A Business Needs To Instill A Win-Win Situation For All Who Plays A Part In It

By Matt Palmer

It must be a win win situation for all that are involved in business. Furthermore, even the Bible lets us know that all men must walk away with equal profits.

In reality, this is the only way everyone will feel that the transaction was fair for every person. Having been involved in deals worth of small as well as big sums of money, everyone walked away with a fair amount in each of those transactions in relation to the amounts they put into the deal and how much they got out of it.

If you do not believe in creating win win situations in life, you will not only be unhappy but you will always be looking to get one over on someone. Definitely, this is not the way business is meant to be played.

I am young and still getting more knowledge on the game, but I am also aware that you have to work with people that uphold high integrity that appreciate the win win theory.

If you are presently working with people that are not upholding high integrity, you will want to reconsider working with them. This is because your chances of succeeding for the long term are very minimal. Ideally, you might make some money in a short period, but it probably may not be a long term situation that will continue with time.

When we were kids, we were taught this win win concept in the form of sharing but as we grew up and became adults, we forgot about it. Time should be wisely invested in this concept by applying it in all parts of life, not just business.

Sharing as an adult is necessary when you are transacting as this creates a win win situations for everyone. Older men's advises have come to me in different words concerning this seeing that they have gone through many experiences in business as well as life.

If you want to be successful in all the areas of life, not just business, it would be prudent that you follow this one principle that has stood the test of time.

Beautiful Funeral Songs And Music To Enhance Your Memorial Service

By Tom Tree

The people are all there to mourn your loss. They remember what they have lost themselves. The thing that families want to do is try to make an experience to last by adding special things to the funeral that will honor the person whom they have lost. You can enhance your memorial service with beautiful funeral songs and music.

It has all been done before at a funeral. There have been some who have had slow band play music. Some have had music that is lively and upbeat at their wedding. They will tell you that they don't want you to mourn. This is how you can really enhance your funeral with song.

Some people have someone do a solo. At our cousins funeral they had a solo done by his brother who plays the saxophone. You can have an instrumental solo as well as a vocal. Heck, you can have both if you'd like. It's your final celebration. This is just another way to enhance your funeral service.

There are others who think that music song by the people who mourn together is appropriate. This is why they sometimes go about and choose a hymn that is to be sung. On a religious level, it's the idea that the person would be singing it there with you as well. This is how others use music at their memorial service to enhance it.

Last of all, you can then have music that is quite common to play. There are songs that when you go to a funeral, you almost expect to sing them. Those are used and when people think of them, they think of laying a person to rest. Normally, there are a few suggestions you can ask someone about and they can list them off the top of their head.

Music has been played at memorial services for a number of reasons. It adds a peaceful touch. Sometimes, it fills in where words can't describe what people are feeling. It gives people time to reflect. This is how it enhances a memorial service and it might be something you want to consider as you plan yours or someone else's memorial service.

From Past Life To Now

By Andrew Ridgeway

From Past Life to present where fragments of who you are and how you came to be are recovered. There are times when everyone has walked into a new minute in their life and felt a sense of familiarity. An experience that has never happened is happening, yet again. This is a moment of celebration, and the opportunities it presents are completely up to you.

It is common for most people to consider the possibility of having lived a life in another time. The thought may be a passing idea until a pattern of unexplained and reoccurring circumstances keep appearing. Revolving dreams, unknown talents and behaviors may all be contributing factors of another self and time, searching for closure.

Having a calling to understand these sequence of events may change your relationship to the world forever. Your most cherished relationships, health and finances can take a positive turn. Your entire life can become more gratifying, and this could only be the greatest news. Now you only need the courage to proceed.

Emotional scars are hard to identify because the emotional self is usually revealed under duress. Unresolved trauma does not just go away, it has to be healed to dissolve. Every experience that has not been properly addressed will wait and travel with you. Whether you mean to pack it up and take it along is not your choice; it is waiting to be owned and embraced.

Deciding to take a journey permits time to get organized and clear about what you want from the experience. You would consider the weather, time zone and society you are going to encounter. You would allow yourself permission to be open to the unexpected, and make provisions for what they might be. Once you arrive, you might find that the journey has a familiarity to it. Don't fight it, it's just the luggage from a previous life traveling with you.

You will have moments where a new moment takes on the liking of a moment lived in a previous time. A conversation that you are having, feels like its already happened. It is practical to pause and categorize it as a Deja Vu moment. Hold onto it and allow it to serve you for future framework; it is a piece of the luggage from a previous life.

The idea of being in control of your movement in the world can be comforting. You are living inside of the experience and are conscious of your participation. Depending on your belief system, the experience may be lived as if there is no tomorrow. For others the experience might consciously be lived as an opportunity to repair and become anew. Every decision aids in the packing for the next journey, traveling light is preferred by most.

The idea of being in charge of your choices in the world can be reassuring. You are present in your process and aware of your participation. You might be living as if tomorrow is not promised; or you make take as many opportunities as you can to repair and become anew. Your approach can recreate an opportunity for a broader understanding.
