Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

If You Cannot Make Up Your Mind, Funeral Home Guatemala Is Ready With All Help

By Winston Dunbar

It is hard to accept that a day will come when we will no more be here; not in human form at least. However, we do not generally want to talk about it because deep inside we are afraid of everything unknown and what happens after death is indeed a mystery. Fortunately, our ideas about life and death are changing slowly; we can see everything in better perspective now. That is why you will find even young people buying not only life insurance policies, but also funeral plans. If you are still to get one, it is time you rectify it and if you do not know where to start, you have funeral home Guatemala to offer you all the help you need.

If you indeed love your family, buy a funeral plan today. You see, making proper funeral arrangement is more essential for the surviving family than for the departed. It is only through such ceremonies, that the mourners learn to accept death and to start life afresh. However, if they fail to arrange it in the way they had hoped to, they may start feeling guilty about it and may carry such feelings within their heart all their life. However, this can be avoided, if you purchase a plan in your life time only.

However, purchase of funeral plans does not only involve money matters. Yes, financial aspect of it is very important. If you buy the plan today, you will be able to lock up the cost at today's level and consequently, even if the prices increase over time, no more payment is to be made. However, there are more important aspects to consider as well. For example, it is only you who can decide the mode of your final disposition. If you want to be cremated, it is only you who can decide that.

However, the question is, why do we need to buy a funeral plan in our life time only? As has been the tradition, why cannot our surviving family organize the funeral on their own? The answers are not far to seek. Indeed, organizing a proper funeral requires money, which may be in short supply at the time of your death. If that happens, your family may have to organize it in a smaller magnitude than they would want. In such a case, they may have guilt feeling gnawing at their chore, which you must admit will be very harmful to them.

In addition, you may have certain preferences; it is only by buying a relevant plan that you can be sure of having funeral that you actually want. However, before you choose any particular plan, you must also consult your family and try to learn how they feel about it. For example, you may opt for cremation, but your spouse may think differently about it. However, if you still go on with your plan, she may find that to be little shocking and this may have some adverse effect on her mental well being.

Most Christians opt for burial because they believe that without their remains there will be no resurrection and so they will not be able to appear for the Last Judgment. However, this is just a fallacy; do you really believe that our Lord God needs our bones to resurrect us? He does not. Know Him to be all powerful and capable of resurrecting us without such things. What is more, even the bones are going to disintegrate one day and our body, which came from dust, will eventually go back to it. Cremation only hastens the process; that is all.

Contrarily, burial provides a place for visits and contemplations; a link between the past and the present; a place to get emotional solace. You know, even if your dear one is no more, he is somehow still there. Second is the religious objection. However, this is not as acute as it used be. Both the Protestant and the Catholic Church have accepted cremation; but the later has put up a few strictures. However, the Orthodox Church is still holds the practice as pagan.

Therefore, before you opt for cremation, it is always wiser to consult your local church on that. All other choices should depend entirely on you and your family. Therefore, along with talking to the church and the director of the funeral home you should also consult your family. What is more, do take time to decide what you want; as I said, such things are important not only for the departed soul, but also for those who are left behind. However, if you do not have any immediate family member, buying such plans is all the more necessary; it is only that, in such cases, you have greater freedom to choose; that is all.
