Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

Thoughts On Gay Vacations And Gay Tours To Turkey

By Howie Holben

Turkey is a unique nation with a distinctive history and culture, resulting largely from its particular location on two continents: Europe and Asia. This positioning has influenced Turkey throughout its long history and is evident in daily life, with most placing it more in line with Europe when it comes to the economy and politics, while it is geographically mostly Asian and distinctly Islamic, like most of its Middle Eastern neighbors.

However, while Turkey is definitely an Islamic nation, visitors will find that a much more progressive mindset and Westernized culture is more evidence of the European influence that abounds. These characteristics that distinguish Turkey from other Islamic countries allow for safe, enjoyable gay tours.

Millions of visitors come to Turkey each year, many on gay vacations filled with relaxing days on breathtaking beaches on the Mediterranean and Aegean coasts, visiting ancient ruins and old-world architecture, and participating in gay tours that include visits to some of the most intriguing cultural, historical and spiritual sites in Turkey.

Throughout its history the city that is presently called Istanbul has been the capital of the Byzantine Empire, the Roman Empire, the Latin Empire and the Ottoman Empire, which has resulted in there being essentially no end to the sites of historical importance located throughout the city and throughout the nation. Whether visitors choose luxury resort vacations on pristine beaches, urban gay travel in Istanbul or a rural experience in an old-world village, travelers will find that culturally-rich attractions and experiences are waiting to be had around every corner.

From visiting hammams (traditional public Turkish baths) to sitting at sidewalk cafs drinking sweet black tea or strong Turkish coffee, gay vacations in Turkey allow travelers to immerse themselves in this distinctive culture, with plenty of opportunities to partake in once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

When opting for Turkey gay tours, you will find that your time in Turkey can be even more fulfilling and memorable with the added advantage of professional travel planners organizing the logistics of your trip.

Visitors to Turkey may not find a well-organized, highly-visible LGBT community during gay vacations throughout Turkey; however, there is an LGBT scene and an LGBT community, particularly in larger cities. Unlike the majority of Islamic nations, Turkey does not have specific laws targeting same sex relationships or activities and there is a wide variety of LGBT clubs, bars and establishments, most found near Taksim Square in Istanbul.

With many fun nightspots from which to choose, those partaking in gay travel in Turkey certainly have the opportunity to indulge in a bit of Turkish LGBT life, while those who select gay vacations for their travel are sure to find that this option provides a unique experience filled with awe-inspiring sites and memorable experiences.
