Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

Experiencing The Magical Power Of Testimony

By Christian Wong

Not long ago, I shared three stories of miracles in the Mahesh and Bonnie Chavda's church. A Brazilian brother drove me back to the hotel from the church. After a meeting, on the way he drove me back to the hotel, he told me that he just received a call from his sister in law who is in Brazil. She was watching that night's meeting on the computer. When she heard the stories of a boy and a girl who both had malformed legs getting healed, she call her daughter.

After she had listened to the teaching and the following stories, her faith is stirred up. Her daughter is a lovely little lady who had malformed legs. This often made her very embarrassed because people on the street would stare at her. The mother called her daughter in her bedroom.

The daughter didn't know about the conference or anything about divine healing. She came out of her room according to her mother's instructions. She took off her shoes and walk towards her mother. As soon as she did so, her legs are healed and become straight as normal legs! This is done by the mother's faith which is released by the power of testimony.

Sharing testimonies provide the opportunity to multiply miracles. The witness of God's work rises up faith to believe that God will work on others also. Whenever this happens, a door to the same power is opened. If the listener would exercise their faith and step into it, things will be shifted and miracles will be manifested.

In many occasions like this, there were no one laying hands or praying for the sick. Sometimes they are not even in the same room. And many testimonies can be chased back to one breakthrough miracle. The above story is one of them.

If we take all the testimonies that people in our church witnessed and make it into a book, it would be a really big book. We are still seeing increase in these encounters, because we believe in the power of testimonies.

A Few Great Advice For The Family Of A Cancer Patient

By Cheska Montgomery

Having a friend or family member diagnosed with cancer can be a real life rattling situation. Here are a few points that should help to keep you grounded through such a situation.

1. Know that it is totally not your fault- The cancer was not caused by any of your actions so you do not have to set yourself on a guilt trip.

You have to let that thought go and focus on how you can help them fight it.

2. It is not your duty to heal your friend or family - As a parent who has a young one recently diagnosed with cancer, there is no doubt that you will have to make some very important decisions about how the doctors will proceed with the treatment. For those who are older they will have a team of professional health workers that will give them all the advice that they need on how to proceed.

The only other thing that you can do about the goings-on is to be there for them morally and financially if possible. You do not have the power to heal them.

3. Cancer does not replace your loved one with somebody different - It is of course a challenge to battle cancer and you will see some changes in the person both physically and personality wise. This however does not mean that you have lost the person that you once knew and had them replaced by somebody else.

4. It is not a mistake to feel like you need some help and support yourself - You too will have challenges in your path that were not present before just like your loved one with cancer. It is totally reasonable for you to also seek some counseling to help you deal with what lies ahead.

5. There is still a lot that you can achieve for them - A lot of people always view the situation as hopeless and think there is nothing that they can possibly do to help the situation. Even small things like the words you speak out to them can encourage them enough to beat their cancer.
