Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

Tips To Manage Your Own Pleasure In Life

By Jean Tumbler

You control your own happiness. While ridding yourself of all the negativity around may not be easy, especially if you are going through a rough time, it is important to understand that you are the only person that can directly control whether you are happy or sad. Understanding this is the first step to attaining true happiness.

Smiling is good for you. Not only does it make you look friendlier, it reduces stress and improves your immune system. Smiling just might save your life someday.

Some people become sedentary and don't move around that much. This is a very bad way to be; it's not healthy and it's very boring. Get up and take a walk around your neighborhood. This energizes you, switches your day up a little bit, and helps you get in shape. Don't spend so much time on the couch.

Remember when your mother forced to eat your vegetables? She was on the right track. Fruits and veggies keep you healthy and reduce the risk of contracting many bad diseases. As the old saying goes, an apple a day keeps the doctor away. And lowers your health care costs.

Many of us become preoccupied watching TV. Reading books has been known to make us better readers and make us smarter people. It helps you focus, gives you knowledge, and makes your memory better. Try putting down the remote and picking up a book.

Be careful not to neglect your friends. No human being is an island; we all need people to be around and make us feel good. You may feel you're living a good existence acting like a hermit, but human beings are social creatures. Establish good friendships and maintain them. You don't have to spend hours on the phone, but call a friend every now and again and have a good conversation. It does wonders for you.

Volunteer at an old folks' home or a day care. You can gain incredible insight from a conversation with an older person, and children always have a rejuvenating quality about them that does you good.

It's not hard to be happy. Make the most of what you have, treat people how you want to be treated, and try to enjoy yourself as much as you possibly can. Follow those tips, and you should see a definite improvement in the quality of your life.
