Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

Decoding The Meaning Of Dreams

By Jack Wogan

For hundreds of years, dreams have been wrapped in some sort of mystery veil, as people used to refer to them with respect or fear. Some cultures have considered dreams to be prophecies, others, demonic possessions. Within the last centuries, the language of dreams has significantly evolved, and the concept of soul wandering the dream world has been replaced with the inner self, and the divine side of it - with the collective subconscious.

While dreaming, we interact with a lot of people, places, things, etc. A dream is like a hallucination, a fantastic trip that you make while you are asleep, a parallel world where many things can happen, things that we wish for or not. A dream is like a state of mind which sets us free or tries to distract us from the ordinary routine of our life. The interpretations with respect to the reasons why we are dreaming varied a lot for the last century.

The concept of modern psychology sees the "dream untangling" as a task to be done within the individual context. In the respective dreams, images and symbols appear which are strongly connected and specific to the person dreaming. Therefore, only he can untangle it and pull out the meaning of his dream.

Play with the words and phrases, as symbols can evolve in different ways and can be understood differently in many cultures. The symbols are something that your subconscious is already aware of, but you deny accepting, believing, admitting or realizing. Remembering all the details of your dream is like opening a gate to your inner self. Keeping a diary of your dreams is not totally nonsense. It's a justification for lying down, for a while, and focus, without feeling guilty, on yourself and your actions and feelings. The dream can be defined from many perspectives. It can be seen as a superstition, as some cultures, for example, consider it dangerous to try to wake someone dreaming, as there is a risk of losing the soul in the world of dreams.

From ancient times, people believed that the future can be foreseen while dreaming, as it works like a sign. In ancient Greece, the dream was seen as a method of healing any disease. Nowadays, nevertheless, the dream is perceived as an extension of the wakefulness. It is like your thoughts are continued in your dreams, but they sometimes get funny shapes, as the sensorial functions are reduced while sleeping.
