Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

Mythical Creatures

By Erich Easter

A list of mythical creatures can keep you busy for numerous days. You'll come across them all over the world

Some fly, others swim; some are small, others are giants; some are human, some are animal and some are a combination of human and animal.Let us look at a couple of mythical creatures to make it easy I will divide them into the above three categories: human, animal and human/animal combinations.Ever heard of zombies? They are the living dead and are mythical creatures from Haiti and West Africa. They work for free and must be fed only salt free porridge to keep them in that zombie-like state

Then you get the leprechauns modest male fairies who are well recognized for their mischief in Ireland. And do not forget the gremlins from America

They are technologically very advanced and like to cause difficulties e.g. typing errors, flat tyres or difficulties with hot or cold water specially when you are taking a shower. The cyclops, a Greek mythical creature, was a giant with only 1 huge single eye in his forehead.A list of mythical creatures comprising animals could contain the following: phoenix, Loch Ness monster, bigfoot or yeti along with a unicorn

A bigfoot and yeti aren't precisely the same mythical creature, but they do have some similarities they are both big, walk upright and have been sighted by several people, but has never been captured or found. Bigfoot is well recognized in North America although the yeti is discovered inside the Himalayan regions of Nepal and Tibet. The phoenix can be a mythical Egyptian sacred bird which is immortal, simply because at the end of its life it builds a nest, sets it afire, burns and then a young phoenix rises from the ashes. Loch Ness in Scotland can be a extremely well-liked tourist destination due to Nessie the elusive Loch Ness monster a big water reptile, which has inspired numerous memorabilia. And then the unicorn: a horse with a single horn which grows out of its forehead and said to be really specific to drinking. The list of mythical creatures of the human/animal combinations will include the werewolf, tokoloshe, mermaid plus the centaur. Werewolves, mermaids and centaurs have inspired numerous stories and films. The tokoloshe, nevertheless may not be all that familiar when you aren't from Africa. It is described as a dwarflike, occasionally animal/human combination mischievous spirit which can trigger damage if offended. To protect yourself, there's only 1 way: put your bed on bricks to ensure that he can not reach you!
