Truth will set you free. Truth is the fundamental reason of the war going on around us. People fight against each other not only because of benefits, but more importantly, things which people believe to be the exclusive truth. Inside everyone's heart, there is an arena of the war of truth.
This war began in the kingdom of heaven, when Satan was cast out. But we are also involved due to Adam and Eve. This is not only because of the fact that they ate the forbidden fruit, but that they chose to believe lies instead of the truth of God.
Eating the forbidden fruit proves that they believed the lies of the enemy. When you believe a lie, you empower the liar. Agreeing the devil empowers the devil. This allows it to steal, to kill and to destroy. When Adam and Eve acted that way, they denied the truth of God.
Roman chapter 1 verse 18~21 clearly wrote what it means for people to fall. And this is the fall from truth. The word of God is truth and is life. When Adam and Eve chose not truth and life and took lie and death, they are really fallen.
Paul said the eternity and power of God can be clearly seen. According to the original Greek, the words literally mean 'seen from above'. When Adam and Eve were fallen, they fell form the view point of God. Before they opposed the truth, they had perfect right to understand the nature and the will of God.
Paul also said that, 'Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.' This means that people can see the image of God on each other, because we are all made in the image of God. But when human opposed the truth about God's nature, the image is twisted and we lost our original identiy and purpose.
