Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

Understanding Prophecy In The News Today

By Lynn Beard

The world sometimes seems to unraveling, with news stations filled with story after story of world conflict, demonstrations and war. Terror is a word that the world is all too familiar with. Sometimes its hard to understand current events and the changes happening. Many people are finding their answers in spiritual enlightenment, and have begun paying attention to prophecy in the news today.

In the pages of the bible are contained many predictions of future world events, and societal changes. These are known as prophecies that may be happening now. History would also show us that world events are not the only prophesies that have become fact. Some suggest the birth and death of Christ were explained long before they happened.

Contained in the passion psalm and the book of Isaiah are descriptions of a future messiah whom the world would reject. In the pages of the New Testament these very acts are recorded. Also contained in the Old Testament, written thousands of years before the birth of Christ, are predictions he will come from the city of Nazareth and that he would be riding a donkey to a celebration. Psalm Sunday, even celebrated today, is the celebration of that event in the New Testament.

Today, many teachers point out that just as God fulfilled the many predictions in reference to Jesus birth and death, that God will also fulfill the predictions of his second coming. Prophesy is then mainly related to the Christian faith. It is believers that are most concerned with prophesy and what is referred to in Christianity as the last days.

This is because today's world is no longer at peace, and conflict and unrest seem a daily event. Christianity's teachings make sense of this by explaining that man always has the right to choose good or evil, and that his dissatisfaction has led to enormous unrest. There are other facts as well, such as a one world currency the bible predicts, currently being discussed and debated. There is also the number described in the bible that will be on the foreheads and hands. Today there is a chip in-plant being tested.

There are numerous websites to assist people in making sense of today's global world and events. They also help make sense of scriptures relating to predictions, and outline international conflicts and other events. They also explain how it fits into predictions. This helps people understand the the world in troubled times.

Most refer to the book of revelations, in reference to world news, last days philosophies, and the events to look for that suggest that time is near. Conflict and biblical predictions are also connected. This is especially true in reference to the Middle-East.

Many of the conflicts, unrest within nations, and financial catastrophes are seen in the bible as predictions of what would occur in times of the last days. Many exist in the book of Revelations, but also in Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Isaiah, Matthew and Thessalonians. Video uploads help people who want to study the teachings contained in these books, as do many magazine and news sites that assist in understanding prophecy in the news today.
