Most people on earth want to live long. No wonder they try to work hard and get the best food, clothing and shelter for their support. In their quest, they often fail to acknowledge the originator of life and ask Him about His own ideas. God wants his children to study Bible scriptures on Life so that they can always know His divine plan for them.
John 3:16 explains the requirement for living forever. Of course, this is the kind that most people want. However, the only way to get this is by accepting Jesus, God's son, who was sent to die for man's sins. God gave Jesus to the world because He loved it dearly and was ready to do anything to save it from the impending doom.

Galatians 2:20 has the clue for people who want to live long. Those who follow the devil will die but those who live by the help of the Holy Spirit will live long. You must accept Jesus Christ as Lord and personal Savior and allow Him to control your activities, no matter how difficult they may look.
