Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

Factors To Take Into Consideration In Purchasing A Casket

By Benedict Turner

It is difficult to bear that your loved one is dead and will no longer be with you. It is not possible for anything to fill the void left behind by a departed loved one.

Although they are overcome with the grief over a family member's demise, family members must nevertheless have to supervise several mundane issues associated with the demise of their family member. Details of the funeral service, the preparations for a place where the remains of the deceased will be interred, and selecting the most fitting casket as matters that the family members must oversee even while grieving. A casket is a box that will act as a container for the body of the departed person. There are many kinds and makes of a casket, and most people do not know any of this. The following will enumerate the various characteristics of caskets in order to assist people in choosing the most appropriate one for their deceased loved one.

Firstly, you should check out the material of the casket you are planning to buy. The essential choice that you have is between wooden caskets that can be made of mahogany, cherry or maple, and metal caskets, which are generally made of stainless steel and then painted with a colour of your choice. When deciding between these two kinds of caskets, you would need to think about the appearance of the exterior as per your preference and how much you are ready to pay.

When it comes to design, you can go for either a full couch or a half couch, which decides the kind of lid of the casket. In a half couch lid, only the upper part of the body is displayed, while the full couch provides a full view of the entire body.

You can even choose from a wide range of casket sizes. Hence, you should have a precise idea of the body size of the deceased to see if you will require any modifications to be done on one of the regular sizes.

Finally, you must think about where to buy the casket. A respected shop selling funerary materials may also offer some caskets; some casket shops accept custom-built orders for your dearly departed. Most funeral homes also have a selection of caskets. However, their rate might be more expensive and their stocks limited than that available from a direct supplier of casket and other funerary essentials. You can also pick out from a wide array of casket designs through the Internet, where funeral supplies stores may also have an online store. When buying a casket through online merchants, you need to consider the rate of shipping.
