Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

Even in Death, Music and Flowers Play an Important Role

By Cindy Smith

When death comes to take away someone we love, how do we deal with it? It's hard to find courage to uplift the mood or ward off the gloom, but we can try to smile at the special memories our loved ones left with us after they passed on. The way by which arrangements at the funeral are made can help a great deal to make things less complicated for family members and friends; so they can reserve time to contemplate on memories about the loved one.

A suggestion from a funeral director is to fix your memorial service music of your choice. Music is food for the soul. You can play uplifting parting and sympathy songs. The family can also express their sympathy with blossoms.

As everyone deals with the sorrow of a loved-one passing, people also realise that death is fateful, and can even sometimes serve as a path towards the endless cycle of life. Painful as a funeral may be, there are ways to present lightheartedness, like playing the departed's favourite music, or serving up his favourite dish.

This is also the same with choosing the right flowers or flower arrangements for the deceased it has to be representative of the personality of the deceased. Pastel colors are usually for someone with a very womanlike distinction and is remembered with a bunch of conventional yet fresh arrangements of gardenias and roses, while an audacious guy who can often be found mostly outdoors may be recalled with radiant colored flowers combined with an mixture of berries, branches and some botanical textures.

Flowers present the relationship that exists between two persons such as the deceased and the sender in this case. Most of the time, funeral directors have florists that could aid select the right flowers and arrangements and they will conceptualize a design that will definitely be representative of the importance of the person who passed away.
