Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

Quick Hints for Learning German

By Daniel Johnson

There are many people out there who think that learning a new language is close to impossible. They don't realize that learning new languages is nothing more than memorizing words and phrases, and that's especially for when things are just getting going. As you learn new vocabulary and grammar rules, you will find that talking in your new language is not as hard as you first thought. Everyone is different so when trying to learn German, or any other language, you need to discover the method that works best for you.

Buy some good German CDs. Because of their portability, language learning CDs and tapes are a fabulous method for you to learn German. If you don't own a portable CD player, then there are techniques for burning a CD onto your computer and then switching the format of the file so that can be played on your mp3 player or your iPod. Seeking options for taking your language learning devices with you is always a wonderful idea. Doing this will help you practice your German during your free time, while you are running errands or even while you are simply doing chores around your home.

Watch television shows and movies in German. When you start watching these German movies, you can turn the subtitles on. After you become acquainted with the language you can switch off the subtitles. You will learn that you comprehend more than you had realized. Watching German television and movies is a stupendous tactic for getting to know the language as it is being spoken nowadays. Classroom learning often teaches the formal version of the language and not the language as it is being spoken every day (books aren't capable of this, as the spoken language is changing on a daily basis). Movies and television shows will permit you to comprehend up-to-date slang and various cultural things that you otherwise wouldn't learn in a classroom setting or by taking an individual course.

Try to think German with your thoughts. Whatever you think of in your natural language, try to repeat it in your mind with German. This will assist you with forming the habit of using German when you're thinking. If you can think in German naturally, speaking it will become a no-brainer. If you can process the language while you are hearing it, it will be easier for you to understand what is being said as well as how you should respond-without having to use translators or take the time to work out your response in your head (and risk being wrong).

There are many ways you can make learning German easier. Don't get too fed up with it. Learning a foreign language is not easy! As long as you do a little bit each day, and you put in the work that's required to learn a new language, you'll conquer German before you know it. ?
