Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

Meditation In Nature

By Adam Smith

Meditation in nature is among the most powerful methods to tap into your authentic nature. This nature meditation also lets you broaden your senses to some heightened awareness which permits the doorway to speak straight with the creator.

When in nature there's a straightforward 'sense meditation' you are able to use to be able to heighten your 5 senses to be able to possess the encounter of becoming a more alive human being and more in contact with spirit. Quite frequently in modern life our senses are toned down due to the amount of stimuli constantly around us.

Step one to extend the connection to your 5 senses is to let go of all stress inside your body and mind. The way to do this is to firstly scan through your body and notice wherever you have tension. Then just like letting go of a rock in your hand, allow the stress in your physique to drop towards the earth. The earth can then use this tension exactly where it needs to. I find letting go of your tension out of your physique works finest on the out breath.

After you've dropped all the stress inside your body to the floor, you are able to then scan up and down your thoughts and become conscious of any tension inside your thoughts during the meditation. Then whenever you are prepared just let the stress in your mind drop to mother earth.

As soon as you're in a relaxed state, the next part of the meditation is to then start heightening your five senses using the feeling meditation method.

The very first and most predominant feeling that we use in our modern culture will be the sense of sight. Very often we see the planet in a narrow viewpoint. For instance, we stare at a computer screen, watch a Television, study the newspaper and stare at the street in front of us. All the whilst using a centered means of taking a look at the planet.

However, indigenous people frequently use far more of their sense of sight consciousness to pick up the subtle movements of animals and birds all around them. The way in which to do this really is to tap into your peripheral eyesight.

To expand into your peripheral vision just place each of your hands out to your sides as far as you are able to and wiggle your fingers within this meditation. Shift your hands back far enough so you can just see your fingers wiggling. This is the extent of one's peripheral vision.
