Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

Get Back Your Self Confidence!

By Craig Cummins

If you think that you're low in a specific area of your life, your self esteem goes down on it's own. It can be anything; from getting laid off from your job to losing your girlfriend. These types of major setbacks may bring down the self-assurance of just about anyone.

How, in this scenario, is it possible to keep your chin up? Well, it may be difficult, yes but it's possible. Once you learn how to control your mind, you'd have zero troubles to keep optimistic during such times. Below mentioned are some ideas to help you lift up your self confidence:

* Believe in yourself: Believe that you're important, that you're able to do just about anything! Believe in the power of your mind. If you would like others to believe in you and look up to you for inspiration, you need to start believing in yourself. Almost everything starts with yourself. Others around you would share the same belief only if you believe that you're important in the first place.

* Do Yoga: It may sound weird. How can Yoga help me? Well, let me assure you, it does help big time! Yoga helps your brain reach its maximum potential as you go into a relaxed state which is optimum for your brain to perform at its highest level. In such a state, you'll deliver your best both in your personal and professional life. People start recognizing your work and you feel good. This way, you raise your self esteem.

* Exercise: All these things are supposed to make you look good from the outside and enhance your performance, especially in your workplace. What exercising will do is you'll have a good body which will give you the confidence you've never had.

* Get goals: Notice I've not mentioned 'set' goals. It's done by virtually everyone and I'm sure you're not out of that group, either. By actually achieving your goals though, you'll increase your confidence in a step-by-step fashion. Your subconscious starts recording all of these activities and thus, gradually, you start believing that you too can do whatever you'd like to do. Success breeds success, or so they say.

* Surround yourself with like minded people: Believe me or not, your friends play an extremely important role in your self development. As the Sanskrit saying goes, "You are an average of your five friends". You're going to enjoy your success more and get there faster, too, if you are surrounded by people who actually want to see you succeed. Similarly, you'll get bad results if you surround yourself with such people.
