Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

By Lula T. Parry

Research have shown that receiving paychecks and looking beautiful infront of the mirror only accounts 10 percent of your overall happiness in life. It is the small things you do that puts a smile on your face that really stacks up to the overall percentage of happiness.

The photo album is a treasure chest waiting to be opened. There are wondrous treats that await you when you open an old photo album of yourself or with your family and friends. You can even take a photo and put it in a frame and carry it with you on your desk at the office.

Break the ice by taking a break from work and enjoy the smell of fresh fruits or essential oils. Take a deep breath and close your eyes. It will help you calm down and you will find yourself smiling again especially at days when you are beating the deadline.

Feel free to let the sun's rays touch your skin for a few minutes. Place your exercise equipment where the sun is shining and you will feel an extra amount of energy and happiness. Exposing yourself to bright light especially the sun will have effects on your mood and your sleep.

If you feel moody or not yourself when you wake up, get out of the house and enjoy a walk around the neighborhood. By the time you reach your doorstep, you will feel invigorated and slightly in tune with yourself than moments ago.

When your boss is making you crazy with all the demands, get away from it all by doing a 30 second race to put a list of things that you want to do after work. This will take your mind off from the things that are worrying you and instead re-invigorates your mood.

When stress builds up inside you and you simply need a mere 2 minutes to escape, head out to youtube and search for a funny video. This will instantly lighten up your mood and help you cope with stress.

The worse thing about money is that you end up regretting on spending them. So, the next time you went shopping, grab a friend with you and shop for things that you want to give to your other friends. This will help you bond with your friend and give something to someone else.
