Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

Important Character To Becoming A Champion

By Gerald Webb

Champions are the ones who are head and shoulders above everyone else. While other people are losing, champions are winning at everything. There is no failure if you are a champion. There is no sadness or grief, only winning. But instead of trying to beat the champ, become one yourself. It isn't so hard if you want it.

The source of a champion's winning power is all in the mind. Who wants to deal with crybabies? It's one thing, if they're your own kids; it's another thing if you have to work with them.

What champions do that you don't do is be unwilling to fail. Those who aspire to be great already know they can be champions. Their attitude is positive.

Champions are also fiercely independent. Each year I came to appreciate my daily accomplishments that indicated that I was beginning to achieve my goals. The work ethic my teacher instilled in me was to work hard.

Champions refuse to settle for second best, and that leads to a constant effort to improve upon their previous wins. These do not need to be grandiose concepts. Simply going out of your way to help in an unusual fashion qualifies.

The mind of a champion is constantly focused on winning. Believing in your ability to succeed does more than simply sustain you in the challenges.

So, make yourself a champion; focus on what you are doing and how you could do it better. A sustained negative attitude will kill you. By far, the worst side-effect of a bad attitude is stress.

Of course, champions fail from time to time, like anyone else. One of the tragic parts of negative attitudes is that misery loves company. Negative people will search out others and attempt to bring them down to their level. This is how they ruin the world and make it unlivable.
