Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

Helpful Info Concerning Studying Philosophy

By Lauretta Hamalainen

You can really have a hard time studying philosophy in some instances.

Due to the fact that philosophy is formed with beliefs and thoughts about subjects, you can find it hard to have a right answer.

Due to the lack of right or wrong answers, you might find it troublesome to study aspects of philosophy.

I have some philosophy study tips that can really give you that edge and help your grades come up.

To begin with, you have to attend every single one of your lectures, as you will learn from them far more than you will with your texts.

The best way to learn philosophy and develop your own skills is to go to discussions and debates. The famous philosopher Socrates never used to write down any of his philosophy he just used to speak them out loud.

It's important in philosophy that you take into consideration other peoples views. Even if you're sure their theory is wrong try to think of it from their point of view and why they think it's right. When you understand someone's theory you can better decide what's wrong about it.

When it comes to philosophy, the key is to talk at length about whatever subject you are on. As you write your essays and papers, try not to gloss over your theories.

As you keep going, you will improve on your skills at philosophy. If you want additional help, you could join a study group or debate group, as you can get practice in arguing your point and learning the opinions of others.

Be sure to thoroughly go over your study material, multiple times if necessary, as long as it can help you absorb the information better. Remember as much as you can for the exams by paying attention and taking notes during the class lectures.

If you follow these tips then you'll find it much easier to excel in philosophy.
