Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

A Look At The Power Of The Subconscious

By Jayne Colman

When one speaks of a weird reoccurring dream, how often have they said, "My subconscious must be trying to tell me something." Really, our subconscious minds do send us messages that are both good and bad.

Often times those gut feelings we have are simply our subconscious mind breaking through and telling us we need to act in certain situations. The problem is we more often than not do not listen to the messages our subconscious is sending us.

Your Subconscious Has the Power to Hold You Back

Surprisingly of what we hear, see and experience in life is buried in our subconscious. So if as a youth you were often told that you are not worth much, that you will never meet you dreams and that you are a failure, your subconscious mind will bury those words. Later in life when you are older, you see that you have goals but no matter how hard you try, you cannot meet them because you are always running into problems that set you back.

Truly, it is not the obstacles at all but your subconscious mind repeating such words that you heard as a youth and repeating them back to you and thus holding you back from accomplishing your goals. This can really leave you feeling like you cannot ever be a success at anything you try.

Your Subconscious Has the Power to Push You Forward

On the other hand, the opposite holds trust that if as a youth you have been told repeatedly that you can do anything you want, and then as you get older you will be able to accomplish all you set out to do no matter how many people tell you that it cannot be done.

The Key to the Power of Your Subconscious

The key to harnessing the power of your subconscious is to replace the negative thoughts that abide there while listening to the helpful messages your subconscious is telling you. For years self help gurus have told you that the way to increase your self esteem is to say positive things about yourself out loud. What they are not telling you and in fact, may not understand themselves is that by repeating these positive remarks over and over we are burying these positive thoughts in our subconscious and pushing those negative thoughts even deeper or ridding ourselves of them altogether.

When these good thoughts are buried just beneath the surface it will be those thoughts that pop up when we are trying to reach a goal. Instead of hearing the message, I cannot do this, we will now hear, I can do this and we will feel like we deserve to meet that goal.

So when we are faced with a task, our subconscious is not only telling we know how to accomplish the task but we deserve to do so and to reap all the benefits from our accomplishments. This belief makes it possible to achieve anything we put our minds to as long as we are willing to work towards the goal we have set.

It is shocking at just how much you can do when you learn how to harness the power of your subconscious.
