Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

Items To Understand About Gratitude Abundance

By Millie Laker

Are you a grateful person? Gratitude abundance will teach you to be grateful for many little things that you already have in order to get the things you need.

A grateful attitude can help you to overcome the negative thinking that may rule your life. You do not have to look far to find many things you should be grateful for.

One thing that many people can be grateful for is their health. If you are not healthy, you may realize how grateful you should have been when you did have health. If you have health, even if you were to lose everything else, it is often possible to start all over again and regain all that was lost.

Most persons should be grateful for shelter. Today there are persons that would be truly grateful for even the smallest of rooms in most homes to shelter their families form rain, cold or heat as well as disease carrying insects that may cause death to family members who are bitten in the night sleeping.

Persons reading this article have electricity, computers and power. For millions around the world these luxuries simply do not exist.

Are you grateful for the food that lines your cabinets tonight. Millions of children as well as their parents will go to be hungry tonight. These families are not just in third world countries but can be in your own state, city or even on your own street. If most of us do not want to eat what is in our homes we can jump in the car and pick up fast food without a second thought.

Are you grateful for your job. Recently the economy has been very harsh and many people have lost long term jobs as well as homes. Even after losing a job, many are provided for with unemployment compensation. Until they are able to find another job they may bring home a large percentage of the take home pay that they had when working a full time job.

Have you stopped to give thanks for your family of origin. They provided for you while you were unable to take care of yourself and may have paid your way through college. Tonight there are thousands of children that will sleep in the unfamiliar bed of a temporary emergency foster care home and may be moved to another home tomorrow. Thousands more still live in abusive homes and will go to bed tonight in fear.

With many things to be grateful for, many people still live life focused on only the negative things that have happened. They choose to focus on what they do not have rather on the blessings that are a part of life. The result of their negative thinking is those very things they long for are being pushed away from their lives.

Gratitude abundance teaches you how to be thankful for the little things. This will change your way of thinking so that you can use the power of positive thinking to get the things that you really want.
