Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

Lucid Dreams - Experience Every Fantasy!

By Paul Benson

Something which may amaze you to learn is that it is possible to be aware that you are dreaming even while in the middle of the experience and even begin to control the course of your dream! Such dreams are called lucid dreams and they allow you to sit in the director's chair and let you decide what will happen.

It's like having your own movie studio with an unlimited budget - anything you want to see or experience is within your power to make happen.

Unlike regular dreams which follow their own pace and their own internal logic, lucid dreams can be controlled by the dreamer. Your lucid dreams seem incredibly real, no matter how fantastic the events you decide to make a part of them.

One way to tell the difference between a regular dream and a lucid dream is to try picking up a book or newspaper in your dream. If you can read the words there and make sense of them, then this is almost certainly a lucid dream. In most dreams, you'd be unable to read the words on the page; they will either keep changing or be impossible to read at all.

When you're having lucid dreams, you can bring all of your dreams and fantasies to life. You can visit any place in the universe and speak with people from the past and present - if you can imagine it, you can make it happen!

If you don't like the way that a lucid dream is going, you can always turn things around. You can even relief events from your own life and make them turn out in a better way; many people find that this is one of the benefits of lucid dreaming that can help them to work through some things in their lives.

Lucid dreams are something which anyone can learn to do. While your body needs to rest to take care of essential biological functions like cellular repair, you can do so while a part of your mind remains conscious and active. This is what occurs in lucid dreaming.

You'll need to practice lucid dreaming before you're able to do it at will. This can take some time, so keep practicing and be patient; these dreams will come to you with time.

Starting a dream diary is a good way to start learning to lucid dream. When you awake from a dream, write down everything you can remember. Keep your journal by your bedside so that it is quickly accessible to you upon waking. With time, you'll improve your ability to remember your dreams and this trains your mind to recognize when it is dreaming. When you acquire this skill, you'll be able to start making your dreams lucid ones.

Creative professionals such as writers often use lucid dreaming to help them create their novels. Lucid dreams are a good way to try out plots and develop characters and dialogue even as they sleep! If you're a creative person, lucid dreaming offers you a great opportunity to try out new ideas.

When you get into the habit of remembering your dreams, you'll be able to return to your dreams when you go back to sleep and start controlling their course.

The last hour or two before the time when you normally awake are the best for lucid dreaming. When you awake a little early and go back to bed, you may feel like you have just been laying in bed thinking when your alarm finally goes off; however, you have actually been lucid dreaming!

With a little practice, you'll find that it's easy to bring yourself into the necessary mental state for lucid dreaming. Self hypnosis can help you get started by helping you to remember your dreams.

There is also a technological development in the field of audio which helps you to achieve the state where lucid dreaming happens easily. Binaural beats are frequencies which synchronize the hemispheres of your brain and tune your brainwaves to the frequency needed for lucid dreams to happen.
