Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

Choosing A Beautiful Tombstone Cemetery

By Tom Tree

When people are looking for a headstone grave to honor a loved one, they will want to take their time and find a stone that exhibits radiance and beauty. Professionals can help them make good decisions. Because loved ones will want to give their relatives the best possible send-off, they should do some research with reputable vendors.

Different cemeteries will have different characteristics. City plots, for example, are often found in the backs of large churches. Many of these facilities are very old and perhaps even overcrowded. Thus, the plots can be expensive. Individuals may have to choose a headstone that is low key so that it fits in with the others.

Rural cemeteries offer their own benefits. They are often located out in the country and will thus allow for more space. Some of these plots may even be cheaper. In fact, headstones that are set up in rural areas will have a special kind of elegance. As long as the correct stone is chosen, the final resting location should look peaceful and elegant.

Private burials will be available in some cases. If a celebrity has recently died and owns quite a bit of property, then a memorial grave can be set up on private property. At these funerals, usually only a few close family members are invited to take part in the proceedings. This way, everything should go off without any hitches at all.

Granite is usually a smart choice. The rock is known to hold up for long periods of time and will not give people any problems. Granite, in fact, often shows off many different colors. Organizers can select a style and texture that matches the personality of the person who has recently died. Pink crystals, for example, can offer a sense of peace.

Once the entire ceremony has ended, individuals can begin placing flowers on the grave. Many cemeteries have certain rules for how long the flowers will be allowed to remain, so mourners should check these regulations. Flowers of all types will be fine, but roses and tulips are usually the most elegant.

In the end, finding a Headstone Grave does not have to be overly difficult. When men and women take their time during the process, a lovely stone can be found and placed in the ground without any problems. With granite or marble or another durable rock, the etching will be able to be read for many years down the road.

Reading The Chronological Bible Is Enjoyable To Many Individuals

By Marissa Velazquez

Many people have called the Bible the greatest story ever told. It is consistently the biggest bestseller in the world. Western laws and cultures have been shaped by this book, and it has affected millions of people in a positive way for thousands of years. Statistics, however, indicate that not many people have read this volume in its entirety, which may be why the chronological Bible is so popular among certain individuals. This version of the book is thought to make reading the volume easier for most people.

Most individuals have heard of Bible; however, some individuals do not realize that it is not presented in chronological order. This means that the books of the Bible do not follow each other in the exact way that history was recorded. Rather, some of the events actually took place in a different order than the way they are arranged in the original transcript.

This book boasts more than thirty-one thousand verses and twelve hundred chapters. The latter cover thousands of years of historical events. The Bible was eventually put into chronological order by individuals who painstakingly researched this era. The message itself remains unchanged, the books are simply set up in a different order.

It is intriguing to see how this book is changed when put in chronological order. It starts with beginning of creation, but after that, the order is changed considerably. To follow the events in the book in the order in which they actually took place, a person would read the first twenty-two chapters of Genesis, and then the book of Job. After the latter has been read, the person would return and finish the book of Genesis.

The next book would be Exodus in its entirety, followed by the ninetieth Psalm, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, and the ninety-first Psalm. Chronicles II would follow; however, it would be interrupted about sixteen times with other sections if one was reading the volume chronologically.

The New Testament begins with four books referred to as the Gospels. The order of these remain the same, but after they are read the sequence changes substantially. The first through the fourteenth chapters of Acts immediately follow John's Gospel, and then the Epistle of James is read, followed by the fifteenth chapter of Acts. The reader continues through Acts, but the latter is interrupted eight additional times before the end. Colossians is the next book in the sequence.

The Epistles of John, which total three volumes, interrupt the book of Revelation several times. However, the latter is the last book, in both the traditional Bible and the chronological version. Many people find that the this book is more enjoyable when it is read in this way, but as one would suspect, this is largely a matter of personal preference.

Those who wish to read chronologically will find that two options are available: following an outline listing the chapters and verses in sequence, or buying a chronological version of the book on the Internet or in a Christian bookstore. To read the book in its entirety in a single year, about 20 minutes a day must be dedicated to this task. Fortunately, it is not difficult to find a chronological Bible if one prefers this version.

Through the ages, many societies have used stones to show the place where those who have passed on were interred. The styles in which these monuments are found are virtually endless with so many materials and features from which to choose. They may be thin and flat against the lawn or they may tower high and present an impressive silhouette. Some contain only the very basic information with no frills while others are extremely elaborate and filled with personalization.

The look of one's gravestone might be influenced by multiple contributing factors. The strongest consideration is the personal style and tastes of the individual for whom it is meant because one's eternal monument should be a reflection of that person's likes. The second biggest restraint is usually the budget that has been set aside for this purchase.

Before making a final selection, one should decide the cemetery in which the stone is to be place. For purposes of easy maintenance or uniformity, some locations may have regulations on the types and sizes of gravestones and plaques that will be allowed on the property. It is important to check for such restrictions as it is quite common for such facilities to remove or reject those that do not comply to set standards.

Several materials, including wood, limestone, sandstone, slate, marble and brass are used to make these products. Though all of these have favorable qualities, bronze and granite are by far the most commonly used substances for constructing gravestones. This is primarily because they are both extremely durable, even in the worst climate conditions, easy to maintain, attractive and affordable.

Many people will put a lot of planning into the selection of what is to become their eternal burial marker. This is the item that is going to serve as a testament of an individual's life for generations to follow. One needs to take into consideration not only the personal tastes of the one it will represent, but budget and facility regulations as well, before making a final purchase.
