Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

Find Out The Bible Scriptures On Life Of Christians

By Erna Gutierrez

To become successful in the Christian life is not easy. There are many problems that one needs to overcome. To help in dealing with such issues well, there are bible scriptures on life trying to offer solutions on these different issues. They aim to encourage people to persist in salvation.

There are many challenges that one could get into, they ranges from those involving fears and anxiety from the difficulties of life, discouragements and depression from long waiting upon God and lack of hope to continue waiting on Jesus to receive eternal reward.

To start with anxiety is the first obstacle that Christians struggle with. People get anxious about what they will eat or where they will get shelter if they totally dedicate themselves to the Godly lives. This is because most work involves voluntary services and expecting God to bless you. Philippians 4:6 encourages us not to be anxious in anything but through prayer we let God know our requests because he is able to provide.

It is only through having complete trust in God that we believe what his word and promises to us. We may get tired or lose trust along the way, the word states clearly therefore in proverb 3:5 that we should always remember to trust in the Lord with all our minds and hearts and not to rely on our understanding. He reminds us that we are able to accomplish anything we want if we trust in Jesus who strengthens us in Philippians 4:13.

About fear and doubting of the word of God, it is a big obstacle to trusting God and his ability to intervene in our lives. The bible encourages us not even to fear death itself which seems to be the ultimate enemy and disaster to human. The verse of Isaiah 41:10 encourages us not to fear the worst news that could happen because the Lord will strengthen us and uphold us in his victorious right hand. Psalms 32:7 also emphasizes that he is our hiding place from every storm that comes in life.

At time we may get discouraged along the way. Especially when we have been expecting the lord to act in time and he seem to delay. At times we even face death situations such that we almost give up faith, his word however gives hope of better life in heaven after this, he says that he went to prepare a home for us in john 14:1-3 in a place where there is no more trouble.

Many other many suffer depression in the process of waiting upon the lord to come and intervene in their desperate situations. Psalms 40:1-3 tell us of an encouraging story of King David who waited patiently on God and finally the lord heard him and rescued him by lifting him up. Psalms 37:17-19 also says that bad thing may happen to good people but whenever they happen the lord helps them.

A lot of concentration in the bible also targets to give hope to people against been frustrated in the Christian walk. The word encourages a lot of patients as we expect from God because it creates faith in us. In Hebrews 10:36 promises us that if we persist patiently in doing the good; the he will fulfill whatever promises he has for us. Bible scriptures on life against frustration also promise us peace of mind if we trust in him.

Learn The Typical Meaning Of Prophecy In The News Today

By Ava Hudson

Prophecy in the news today tends to focus on recent occurrences and finds out the analysis from religious books. Most Christians and Muslims have the connection with spirituality and focus in teachings that will lead them more closer to God. However, there are different events that make one wonder if it is prophesied in the holy books. Some find the significance of events as indicated in the teachings while some are pure lies, making it confusing to many people.

However, it becomes harder to know the true message of God from false accusations since many will tie down all events to the prophecies that are listed in the holy books. There are different faiths currently in the world and each has their own believes making it complex to know the truth. Many want to hear the positive messages and shun all negativity that is presented in the religious books.

Most religious scholars believe that the bible indicates Israel as the holy nation and it will be in constant fighting with the enemies. Many see this as the true nation and will do anything in their power to defend it. Some will not trust the message and this is why Israel is always on the spot when fighting with other nations. It becomes harder to clarify such details based on religious teachings since they are everyday occurrences.

According to some prophets, they find the recent resignation of the catholic pope was significant with the teachings of the revelation. Many state that the end is nigh due to these events while some find it as a normal way people do resigns from other posts. This makes it confusing since many do not want to be affected by such events.

Some churches were in the news lately for prophesying the end of the world in December 2012. Some religious leaders compelled their followers to trade their belongings and leave the martyr life, while others stated God will come to pick them in church. This day came but nothing happened and made them a joke to the entire world. However, most find them as false prophets who want to get easy recognition and take money from followers.

In these hard economic times, churches have been on the spotlights for giving negative news to the masses. This makes it harder for people to tell the truth from the false, since some trust the message of the preacher. However, this has become a means to reap good rewards with some of these teachers taking money to give false prophecies.

Most religious scholars only trust the message written in the holy books but become harder to relate to it in real life. The recent barcode administration law, which was to be amended in the US, was one of the prophecies as indicated in the bible. Many found the bar code administration, which meant everyone was to have a chip inserted in the body to be devilish and related to it as the mark of the beast.

Prophecy in the news today tends to focus on issues that arise rather than what is listed in the religious books. Many have turned them to a game of politics and others as an opportunity to make money while fooling the followers. Careful reading of religious books points one in the right direction to get relevance of certain events.

Different Approaches To Jesus Genealogy

By Ava Hudson

Mathew and Luke are the two gospel writers who have opened their books with Jesus genealogy. They have used the first chapters to give an account of his history. They are in agreement that he was not born of man but begotten of God. There is the mention of Virgin Mary as the mother. Differences emerge in these accounts but there is a clear similarity.

Mathew has taken the route of Abraham through to David, King Solomon as well as Jeconiah. There is a curse associated with the descendants of King David. There is a wide mention of Joseph as a foster father. Mathew is insistent that the lineage was made up of kings.

Luke gives a slightly different account by mentioning a minor descendant, Nathan, who was a son to David. This story is traced backwards to Adam but ends up with Joseph as a foster father. This variation can be attributed to the fact that the histories were not written at the same time, they were reconstructed and at the same time were done by different authors.

Jesus genealogy offered by Luke and that offered by Mathew are significantly different. They are linked by both David and Adam and the people who fall in between. David is considered as the point of departure. These two writers are said to take different directions from this point.

Luke is said to have traced the lineage of Mary in developing his account. The lineage of Joseph informed Mathew as he recounted the history of the Son of Man. The two however converge and agree that he was a descendant of David. This explains the differences and similarities.

The position taken by David is preserved by history and is therefore important in this narrative. He had been promised by God that his descendant would rule forever. This is the promise that is fulfilled by Jesus. It is clear that this inheritance is by blood through Mary and by right through Joseph.

The mention of Nathan is pivotal in fulfillment of this promise. God had cursed the sons of David and it would have been difficult to fulfill his promise with this curse in place. Relief is provided by Nathan who was not as significant as the other sons. This is a point of rescue for the promise.

Some of the names mentioned in Jesus genealogy by Luke can be found in the Old Testament. Maccabaeus mentions such generations as Mattathias which is important in tracing the lineage back to David. The number of generations mentioned by Luke is 77. This is symbolic number for forgiveness according to Augustine, a biblical scholar.

Mathew is insistent that he was born of a royal priesthood. He begins his accounts with such names as Messiah and Son of David. The two writers have not left out such names as Mary, Ruth and Rehab. They tally with the accounts provided in the Old Testament.

Jesus genealogy omits several kings in succession. This is viewed as a way of cleaning this lineage of wicked persons who would rather not be associated with the Son of God. It is therefore viewed as deliberate. A clear picture can be gotten when one compares biblical accounts with historical accounts of the Jews.

How Awesome Is It That God Created Us In His Image

By Ava Hudson

Our heavenly father is the most superior being and He created everything on this beautiful earth using word of mouth except for human being. He took time and moulded man from soil. He made man from his own image. The holy bible in the book of genesis explains the story of creation in two separate accounts. God created us in his image and likeness.

Got made animals which could breathe hear and make sounds but they could not think in the capacity of man. Man had the mental likeness of God he was able to discover and explore this earth naming animals and had the ability to think and reason. God has the knowledge of everything and it is this knowledge that we seek and it makes us more like him.

The bible is a combination of books written by different authors who were inspired by God. Some of these are stories of real life events that happened ages ago, while other are simply teachings that we as Christians should live by. Simply put, the bible is the guide to life

He then put man in the beautiful Garden of Eden. Where he was supposed to live and enjoy forever. Gods creation of human beings was not to end there. He discovered that man was lonely and decided to make him a helper and from the ribs of man a woman was created. He named her eve.

When man was placed in the garden God noticed that he was lonely and sent him a helper. He created a woman and placed her on the garden with man. She was also created in the image of God.she was supposed to be the helper to man keep him company and procreate with him. God was pleased with his creations they were beautiful just like him.

As human being we have social needs. We cannot live alone, and that is why God brought a helper to help man. He brought the woman whose main role was to keep man company because he was lonely. The woman was made for two main reason companionship and procreation.

There is proof that we are made in the image of God using the story of Jesus Christ the son of God. Jesus was conceived and born by a human being and lived on earth like the rest of us. He grew up like we did and even fed like human beings, He could feel pain and walked this earth normally. He even died like a normal humans being but on the cross and was buried.

God gave man the knowledge and wisdom to know and choose what is right. Man is in the mental likeness of God. Man has the ability to think and build civilization.

God made human beings different from the other things on this earth. He moulded us from soil unlike the rest that were created from the word of mouth. God created us in his image and blew the breath of life in us he made us superior of all animals only second to him.

By Ava Hudson

Everyone knows about the big issue regarding the end of the world in December 21,2012 which of course, did not push through. Actually, this prediction first came from an author who claims that he had discovered a code in the Bible that points to this date. It was then later supplemented with the fact that the Mayan calendar ended on this day. Although nothing happened on that day, there are some signs which were predicted in the Bible that are happening today. Here are some of the latest Bible prophecy news.

Everyone has probably heard about the coming of the Antichrist to form one government that will rule the entire world while living under just one currency. Well the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund have actually been trying to make a single currency for every country in the entire globe. This is already considered a sign of the coming of the Antichrist as once the one single currency rule is implemented, all that is left is a leader to execute it.

Israel has always been a guide point for experts who are studying Revelations because the Jews were the first people of God. During the past, God punished them for their sins and until today, they have a hard time getting back up. Revelations did state that when they rise again, the end is near.

NASA also contributes some scientific evidence to the new end. Apparently, NASA has found out that the sun is producing very big sun spots that may be even more enormous than the earth. Having these giant sun spots will affect the earth by changing the weather conditions and thus producing natural disasters. Relating that to the Bible, Luke did say that when the rapture is about to come, the sun will have signs.

There have been news that a meteorite crashed into a frozen lake in Russia and injured quite a number of people. Obviously, a meteor hitting the earth is already a sign of the end of times. Revelations even states this happening as a star that will fall into the earth and kill many men.

The Horseman War has also been working hard in trying to make nations go against each other. Lately, the number of nuclear weapons has increased because many super powers have been acquiring them. Once these weapons of mass destruction are fired into the air, World War III will start.

These are the latest Bible prophecy news that are happening right now. There is definitely no way a person can predict the exact date of Armageddon. However, the Holy Book has definitely been accurate with its predictions about the future.

How To Comfort Bereaved Individuals

By Francine Vaughan

Death comes with harsh, agonising feelings of sadness and mourning. The truth is, family members are taken on an emotional rollercoaster ride when a beloved dies.

Individuals react differently when confronted with the death of a beloved. Some people fill their hearts with hatred and refuse to accept the painful truth of their loss. Many get lost in the memories of the past and live with regret. Some cry their hearts out in deep longing for the deceased.

Do you know someone who is going through the loss of a loved one? Do you have a buddy or a close relative who still hasn't moved on from the death of loved one? Here are pointers that help you comprehend the right ways to comfort a bereaved person:

Contact the bereaved. Formulate a wonderful, thoughtful message which effectively conveys your thoughts. Keep your message simple, sweet, thoughtful and genuine. Make sure every word counts!

Avoid offensive statements. Do not tell the bereaved that you know precisely what they are going through. This statement, despite being seemingly emphatic, may sound a bit offensive because it does not value the uniqueness of the bereaved person's grieving experience.

Extend your help and support. Be persistent and think of possible areas where you can provide assistance. At a time of loss, bereaved individuals do not have enough time to focus on their daily routine. Volunteering to work on their household chores, pet issues and childcare duties is a simple yet meaningful way to show them that you are willing to extend your support in any way possible. You may also help them make arrangements with a funeral home Singapore. Additionally, having the initiative to conduct thorough research on qualified service providers of funeral parlour Singapore can be a big help.

What can I do with a Philosophy degree?

By Penelope Trivette

A major in a liberal arts field like philosophy helps you to understand the basic components of critical thinking, argumentation, communication, information management, design and planning, research and investigation, and management and administration.

These basic abilities offer a wide range of reasoning, researching, planning, and communication tools that a graduate with a philosophy degree can use to communicate, problem-solve, and argue effectively irrespective of what field they decide to enter after graduation.

In reality, one of the most important items to keep in mind about this particular skillset is that in most cases it is readily transferrable, which means that it could benefit philosophy graduates all through their careers and enable them to make career transitions if necessary.

Philosophy majors have the training and educational background they require to be adaptive and continue learning new capabilities as they advance within a career or transition to a different one.

This can be particularly helpful because there is no doubt that technological and scientific progress will need employees to continue learning new abilities throughout their working careers if they wish to advance, or even just remain in their current job.

The education you receive as part of the undergraduate training in philosophy delivers valuable preparation for the nearly constant need to learn more and to acquire new skills, or to apply old abilities to novel challenges and tasks.

In short, a liberal arts degree like a philosophy degree is very important since it not merely provides you with very generally applicable intellectual skills, but also develops your ability to easily and effectively acquire the particular skills you will need to know for your 1st job, and then for whatever subsequent jobs or careers you may pursue.

As a result, university graduates who have received a bachelor's degree in philosophy might find themselves employed in a varied selection of professions, like administration and management in the corporate and academic sectors, and in the staffing, public policy, nonprofit, and advertising fields.

Other common choices for philosophy graduates include business careers in management, sales, consulting, public relations, fund raising, systems analysis, marketing, and banking.

And government positions working for a congressional staff member, federal agencies and bureaus, state and local governments, the United Nations, foreign service agencies, and cultural affairs organizations are additional possibilities.

Certainly one of the time-honored professional fields for philosophy majors is the publishing sector, where philosophy students could possibly find themselves employed as anything from a freelance writer to a journalist, manager or publisher, depending on their particular preferences and talents.

Needless to say, a bachelor's degree in philosophy is also good training for an advanced degree in business, medicine, or law, as well as in education, history, literature, and in some cases seminary studies.

Success in law school is dependent on skills like the capability to read and analyze complicated written legal opinions to ascertain the main points, and to logically and rationally argue one's findings, all of which are skills that philosophy majors are very acquainted with.

And medical school students need to be able to critically evaluate a patient's medical history, analyze symptoms and complaints, and use reasoning to reach an appropriate diagnosis and remedy.

So if you're a philosophy graduate, do not stress yourself if you don't see a clear professional path ahead of you like an accounting or engineering student may have, and remember that you are gaining important and employable abilities that can provide you with a flexibility that can serve you well all through your working career.
