Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

Fighting Terror with More Terror

By Jason Lincoln Jeffers

In January 2003, a CBS poll reported that 63% wanted President George W. Bush to find a diplomatic solution rather than go to war in Iraq. Only four nations; the U.S., U.K., Australia, and Poland, participated in the Iraq invasion of March 20, 2003, due to the opposition to it by traditional U.S. allies such as France, Germany, New Zealand and Canada. On February 13, 2003, a month before the invasion, there were staunch anti-war outcries from around the world and in Rome, a record-breaking three million people assembled in protest. Between January 3 and April 12, 2003, 36 million people across the planet took part in nearly 3,000 protests against the Iraq war. The Secretary-General of the U.N., Kofi Anann, said that the war in Iraq was an "illegal act that contravened the UN charter."4 U.S. Congressman, John Conyers, Jr., investigative journalist Robert Parry, and law professor Marjorie Cohn asserted that the Iraq war was a violation of the U.N. Charter and as such, a war of aggression (crime against peace) and is therefore a war crime.

The purpose for the U.S. invasion of Iraq on March 20, 2003 was to confiscate "weapons of mass destruction." Seven years and $748 Billion later, 4,727 coalition troops have perished along with hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians. The U.K. and U.S. contended that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction, which we now know was either an intentional deception on their part, or because of false information reported by the intelligence agencies. Either way, the entire purpose of the Iraq war is based on a fallacy.

When the U.S. violated the United Nations Security Council decision, and declared war without the U.N.'s approval, it undermined and refuted everything that the U.N. stood for, and because of this, it was left powerless and ineffectual to carry out its prime directive to ensure peace. The Inter-Parliamentary Union, League of Nations, and the United Nations were all formed with the intention of preventing war and maintaining peace through means of communication, diplomacy, negotiations, and mediation. And yet this is where they have all failed.

The Iraq War was also called the "war on terror," an oxymoron. War is terror. You could just as easily call it "terror on terror." Even the names we give to our wars today articulate the ignorance of our ways. Violent resistance to war or terror will inevitably feed into the exact same energy and will only serve to perpetuate it.

In physics, Newton's third law of motion says that "for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction." In ancient Chinese philosophy it is called the law of polarity or yin/yang. In Sanskrit it is the law of karma or cause and effect. Whatever you want to call it, the truth of it is, when you push against a force, it tends to push back.

The war on terror has failed. The war on poverty has failed. The war on drugs has failed. The perpetual "war on this" and "war on that" is nothing but a complete waste of everyone's time, money, and energy. Ignorance to the laws of the universe prolong the peace that humanity so desperately needs now. The incessant war machine that currently plagues our planet underscores the failure of the peace movement that began with the Inter-Parliamentary Union in 1989. Retaliation and revenge for one terrorist attack after another only feeds into the same negative energy. Fighting terror with more terror does not and will not bring lasting peace.

The purpose for the U.S. military going to war in Afghanistan on October 7, 2001 was to remove the safe haven of al-Qaeda, a fringe Islamist group along with its leader Osama bin Laden who took the credit for the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center. As I write this, 1,874 U.S. troops have so far been brutally killed along with tens of thousands of innocent Afghan civilians. Nine years and $300 Billion later, Osama bin Laden remains anonymous and al-Qaeda remains firmly entrenched in its safe haven.

The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan represent the longest wars in U.S. history and to date, we still have no clear definition of purpose for being in either country. Not one single weapon of mass destruction was ever found in Iraq and Osama bin Laden was never captured in Afghanistan. And yet the "war on war" continues...

Free Online Psychics Can Sometimes Help

By Samantha Sanderson

For those out there who are curious about what the future may hold for them yet understand that they cannot know the unknowable without assistance, free online psychics can sometimes help. These very skilled and in tune people stand eager, in many cases, to help those who are anxious about something to take place or need some guidance or direction.

Believe it or not, but there are psychics out there who do not charge anything and who are more than willing to sit down and help people come to an understanding of what might be. There are psychic brokerage services, and their websites are easily found on the Internet. Not all are equal, though, and there are some that are better than others.

As far as gaining an understanding of these websites that help people come together with those who offer their psychic services, one wants to find a site that offers many psychics, each of whom might have a special expertise in the metaphysical world. These psychics include those who can read the Tarot cards, astrologists and clairvoyants.

Are free online psychics absolutely the way to go every time? The answer would have to be of course not. There is something to be said for finding a website that connects you with someone who feels his or her services are valuable enough to charge for them. The most popular websites will offer psychics who specialize in love and relationships among other things.

They are might come a time when a person needs a quick horoscope created or needs a psychic to read them in order to come to a quick understanding about some issue. It shouldn't be a surprise, then, that all of the notable or top-quality psychics will need to ask for some form of financial renumeration. Regardless, good psychics want to help and generally don't let money get in the way.

In that regard, free online psychics can make a difference and those psychics who are confident enough of their abilities and who charge for the services they deliver can also work equally as well. Look for high quality websites that help people to understand their basic needs for psychic assistance and then allow them to come together with the psychics that can help them.

The Writings Of Enoch Offer Messages Of Hope And Inspiration

By Timothy Sakach

While so many people have never heard of Enoch, it is his calendar that was utilized at Exodus. His prophecies included that he saw his books being published during our time. His prophecies provide information about our own current days and what we have to expect in the coming months and years. When deciphered properly, it is evident that Enoch's writings and prophecies were meant for future generations, and those generations include those of us living today.

Despite his exclusion from the Bible, Enoch's writing has a profound influence on the Scriptures. We see this influence in the writings of Moses, as well as many of the prophets and apostles. Enoch espoused the ideal that those who love truth must write these truths. He offers a powerful message of hope for all of us, and those messages were intended to be shared from his time to ours.

Enoch is discussed in several Scriptural texts, including the Testament of Twelve Patriarchs, the Book of Jasher and the Book of Jubilees. Peter and Jude quote from Enoch in the New Testament. His influence is strong throughout the both Hebrew Scriptures and the New Testament, neither of which would have been the same without his words. If these beloved prophets and apostles trusted his authority and inspiration, why would we have reason to question his teachings?

According to Enoch, the righteous upon reading and understanding his works, will see them as both an inspiration and a revelation. This is both advanced theology as well as prophecy, transcending time and the opinions of any single generation.

Of course, there have been dissenters of Enoch throughout history. One surprising critic was famed theologian Robert H. Charles who translated both Noah's and Enoch's writing. He contended his introduction of these translations that the writings were produced in 200 B.C. by scribes and not the actual works of Enoch or Noah. If we support his ideas, however, it would compel us to believe that all of the other books of the Old Testament were produced likewise. We do know, through IV Ezra, that they were restored by scribes after the Israelites returned to the Promised Land after exile.

Many scholars miss another obvious conclusion. These writings of course had to be copied from earlier manuscripts in order to preserve them. While we understand that they likely added their own "corrections" and commentary throughout the Torah, the writings of Enoch are somewhat different. After all, these were preserved by Noah and his sons and also known to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and his sons. They known by Moses, the Prophets and the Apostles, so his teachings were revered throughout biblical history.

The Spiritual Benefits connected with a Cosmic 2 x 4

By Rev's Bil & Cher Holton

Perhaps you have proclaimed, Wow! I've been struck with a Cosmic 2 x 4? This kind of expression is conventional theology dressed up in New Thought clothing. The expression "cosmic two-by-four" suggests there's something or someone beyond us hoping to get our interest in order to teach us an essential lesson. The implication is the fact that God, the universe, something "out there" plans to manage us for our very own good, even if it implies doing harm to us or causing us discomfort. The concept that something desires to acquire our awareness to compel us to accomplish what's "right" so that it can show us something is often a viewpoint that abdicates individual choice along with responsibility. Additionally, if we don't "get it" the very first time, the attack gets steadily worse till we ultimately take notice.

We wish to declare, "Get Over It!" There isn't any Cosmic Two-By-Four. Make sure you examine that phrase again! Once more. Thanks. There isn't any Cosmic Two-By-Four-pine, oak, treated wood, galactic laser, or otherwise. Since there is really only One Power and One Presence in the universe, God the Good, this "wooden" expression moves against the grain of the most ancient and most respected Truth Principles. We don't believe that God, the Good, punishes us using two-by-fours, hardwood paddles, willow branches, baseball bats, or some other "wooden explanations."

The strictly human, definitely not cosmic, two-by-four is within our very own hands! It's our bad choices along with errant activities which punish us and pain us, not God. So long as we continue to keep making poor choices we'll continue to keep getting bad outcomes.

A 2 x 4 moment is an opportunity to experience an "aha" however, we can keep creating 2 x 4 moments if we neglect to learn from our experiences. "Aha's" are the result of a change in perspective, an insight which comes from an intuitive leap in consciousness. Two-by-four moments occur when we suddenly realize that our own stale thought patterns and belief systems are no longer valid. If we keep beating ourselves up with the metaphorical 2 x 4, perhaps it's time to pause and reflect on the thoughts, choices, and actions we've taken which lead to our self-flagellation. This awareness is an inside-out realization.

One of several self-denigrating presumptions we encourage you to compost would be the belief in a cosmic 2 x 4 - that there's something or anyone "out there" hoping to get your attention to teach you a crucial lesson. Not one person has ever been struck by using a cosmic 2 x 4. It doesn't result from that direction.

Here's a substitute expression you can consider: "I've created a 2 x 4 moment!"

Spiritual Life Coaching: Self Realization

By Jason Lincoln Jeffers

In the movie, "The Matrix," Morpheus says to Neo, "You are living in a prison that you cannot smell or taste or touch; a prison for your mind." Just after college, I worked at a psychiatric hospital where I observed and recorded the behavior of schizophrenic patients. It was apparent to me that they were incarcerated in their own minds.

The schizophrenic patients displayed abnormal behaviors such as: incongruent speech, delusional talking, pacing, posturing, blank staring, talking to self, and repetitive movements. But there are plenty of people who society deems as "mentally healthy" who are to varying degrees, also locked in their prison minds. They may not do a lot of pacing or blank staring but they do frequently resort to emotional and physical violence to defend their own opinions. If other people have opposing opinions, they are immediately declared as "the enemy." Stirring up conflict, debate, drama, and emotional violence is what they live for. Now, I ask you, which is the worse form of insanity?

Ultimately, the purpose for us all being here on Earth at this time is to evolve in to conscious beings. Once you can recognize your ego, you will start to realize that it alone is responsible for all the drama, conflict, abuse, and chaos that has been a part of your life. Consciously recognizing your ego in action and the dysfunction of it is the key to self transcendence. A Spiritual Life Coach can help you to move beyond your egoic mind so that you can begin to understand who you are on your highest level, and from there you'll find that there is no suffering.

Moving toward non-suffering means becoming One with your higher Self. This is the meaning of becoming "Self Realized." Unconscious infliction of emotional violence onto others will inevitably bring suffering to both the prey and the predator. The predator will eventually, in some way, come to suffer the consequence of the action. This is called karma. This perpetual suffering eventually leads to humility. From a place of humility you naturally become still, present, and reverent. You start respecting and honoring what is. From here, you begin to allow the universe to manifest the serendipity that would have been there all along if you had only been open to it. Humility also affords you to appreciate the beauty and wonder in everything, including your "imperfections."

You don't have to wait until you return to your home in heaven to be in heaven. And you don't have to wait until the rapture to ascend or become One with your higher Self. All you have to do is refrain from identifying with your ego. See its emotional pain-body as an exit sign for releasing your imprisoned Self. If you have a heavy pain-body, you will suffer until you become conscious. From suffering, comes awakening. Looking back on the pain-body that I carried for over thirty-five years, I am grateful now for the wisdom that it has revealed to me. As the saying goes, "What doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger." It wasn't until I was able to face my pain for what it was; recognize it, accept it, and live with it consciously, that I was able to finally transcend it and let it all go. Ignoring, resisting, or attempting to escape the pain only serves to strengthen it.

The ego inevitably leads to suffering because intrinsically it is a false self. The wounded ego from childhood trauma creates an "unknown face" that Carl Jung called the shadow. Then we project all of this repressed trauma onto others in the forms of judgment, condemnation, blame, intolerance, and derision. The reason we suffer is so that we can fully experience the dark side of our nature which is the impetus for the soul's return movement back to Spirit. After we've experienced our dark side, we can then finally move past the ego and evolve. Therefore, evolution is the ultimate reason behind all suffering. Suffering is never at random or in vain. To the contrary, all forms of suffering have their origins at some point in the collective. All suffering is part of a higher effort to bring us all home--to awaken us to our eternal Self.

Spiritual Counseling - Ancient Mysticism meets Quantum Physics

By Jason Lincoln Jeffers

Einstein once said, "The most incomprehensible thing about the world is that it is comprehensible." What if science, philosophy, and spirituality have been on tangential paths in their pursuit of the truth about creation, each one stemming from distinct perceptions of reality but ultimately converging at a singular point of divine truth?

I believe that it's just a matter of time before a unified field theory or "one theory of everything" is proposed and proven to be true. There is indeed a divine order to the cosmos, an underlying intelligence. Some define this intelligence as physics and leave it at that. But is it so hard to comprehend that science and divine intelligence (God) are one and the same? After all, in the end, everything stems from the Source.

In quantum mechanics there is a property known as entanglement or non-local connection. This is not a theory but a real phenomenon. The physicists John Bell and Alain Aspect established that the universe at its most basic level is nonlocal. It proves that information doesn't need to travel from point A to point B because it doesn't need to travel at all. It is omnipresent. This interpretation presents us with the vision of a participatory universe in which everything is unified and interdependent; a seamless Whole.

Einstein called entanglement "spooky action at a distance," and it has been demonstrated repeatedly through experimentation. It is the way in which two or more particles of energy sharing common origins become correlated to predictably interact with each other, even if these particles are separated over large distances. In other words, they remain interlinked, interconnected, one with each other, even though they appear to be separate.

What's truly amazing about their entanglement is that their communication is much faster than the speed of light. It appears to be operating instantaneously, at the speed of, well, thought. It's as if the spacetime in between the two objects being measured doesn't even exist. Perhaps this is because these interacting objects are connected somewhere beyond the realm of spacetime. Or in a word: Consciousness.

In a sense, the human body is entangled with the Earth because the body responds to the Earth's natural biorhythms and circadian cycles. No doubt, the female's menstrual cycle is quantum entangled with the cycles of the Moon. The ancient art of astrology is an example of entanglement with the planets, stars, and constellations of the heavens.

In his September 19, 2009 Sirius XM radio show, Deepak Chopra interviewed physicist Michio Kaku, and commented on this nonlocal phenomenon, saying, "You know, the more I hear about quantum entanglement, it sounds like a mathematical description of omniscience, omnipresence, omnipotence." Dr. Kaku responded, "That's what it leads to. Their theory says that I exist because you look at me, somebody looks at you so you exist, so who looks at her? Who looks at us? Well, God."

Quantum physics was discovered through the study of the motion of elementary particles at the atomic and subatomic level, so it is assumed that this nonlocal phenomenon must also be confined to the submicroscopic world. I believe this to be a narrow-minded view of what entanglement is really revealing to us. Nonlocal connections between humans have been experienced in such phenomena as synchronicity, mental telepathy and psychic phenomena. Mystics, oracles, artists, yogis, sages, and shamans have been transcending the local mind and accessing nonlocal Unity Consciousness for millenia.

The property of quantum entanglement is clear evidence in support of Unity Consciousness. It demonstrates that the physical universe (spacetime) is preceded by a "behind the scenes" mind. How else can these particles interact as if a Unified Field of Consciousness didn't exist? The property of entanglement even defies Einstein's theory that nothing can travel faster than the speed of light.

Mind before matter is the correct order of the equation to creation, not matter manifesting itself randomly or spontaneously before mind. Physical matter is nothing less than an expression of divine intelligence giving it the command: "Make it so."
