Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

When Will The World End A Realistic Approach

By Holly Anderson

Far too many prophecies and predictions sync together in regards to when will the world end. It's actually somewhat frightening when investigating the many prophecies and how they so clearly describe the end of the world. It's as if, we're being given a chance to survive this upcoming transformational event. What's interesting....is that we can.

The infamous year 2012 is right around the corner....a date commonly assigned to when the world will end, causing more and more people to become aware of this approaching date. The irony of how a five thousand year calendar, developed by a very intriguing mathematically advanced civilization. The Mayans, who were known for their mysterious abilities in evaluating the of stars and has developed a 5125 year calendar that is set to end on December 21, 2012. A date that the Mayan people predicted, over five thousand years ago, that the world will begin to re-set itself.

Even the Book of Revelations (The Holy Bible), describes a mushroom cloud that will cover a third of the world and flying objects that were made out of metal with "wings that sound like many chariots rushing into battle". The bible describes many signs and events that appear to be clearly describing today's times.

Even the infamous Nostradamus, famous for his many predictions that miraculous came true, described an event known as The Winter Soltice. It's quite amazing on how consistent the events in his predictions are actually supported by modern day astronomy regarding a major solar event that will have transformational effects on our planet.

However, if you study these predictions in further detail, you will discover that they don't necessarily describe the end of the world but, more like the end of the world as we know it. But, there are some promising possibilities in which there could be a chance for survival. It would be very prudent to take the time today to learn about how you may survive the events of tomorrow. Especially, when considering the level of regret later....if you're wrong about not worrying today.

It could be very frightening if you plan to do any real investigating on what is heading our way. The realistic truths regarding government cover-ups, Swine Flu Pandemics, and some devastating natural disasters that are being covered up and kept from the general public. We're not being told everything!!

Is it a mere coincidence or irony that so many predictions and prophecies come together and ironically sync in their conclusions regarding when will the world end. You will simply be amazed by how much these prophecies have in common such as....The Hopi Indian teachings, the Mayan long count calendar, The I-Ching prophecies, the Aztec and even the Holy Bible. Discover how they all come together to describe today's times as when the world will experience a transformational change that will effect all living beings on the planet.

Can we simply write these off as a mere coincidence or do we accept the inevitable possibilities that a transformational event is approaching and it's coming our way sooner than later. How do we ignore these ancient prophecies that describe so accurately today's times as when will the world end. Or, can we ignore how modern day events and even scientific predictions all sync to the same conclusion. Perhaps, we're given the unique opportunity to realize what is approaching and what can be done today to prepare for survival of tomorrow.

Tips To Help You Let Go After A Breakup

By Anna Ross

It can happen to you and it can happen to me. In fact, it has happened to all of us. We have been through one or more breakups that we think that we cannot survive it. But the thing is, here we are trying to search for another person to build a relationship with.

People think that when your relationship turns to a close, it becomes so emotional that it is hard to come by. But, there are things that you can do to ease your pain.

Accept the fact that your relationship is over. There is no excuse for you to say that you can still do something. When it is over, it is over. Acceptance is the first step to everything. You may deny everything at first and act as if nothing has happened but the more you do this the harder it will be to go through.

This is one experience you should learn from instead of ignoring. Do not let this experience tell you to be bitter against other people but, let this be an experience that will teach you to love yourself more ahead of others so that you won't be as upset with things in the future.

Stop blaming yourself. Sometimes, as the relationship comes to close, we feel that we were to blame as to why the relationship ended. Blame does not solve anything and it does not serve any real purpose to getting over someone. In fact, it is one hindrance so stop blaming yourself.

Keep your sight away from your ex. The more you try to see your ex, the harder it will be for you to get over him. Clean your room out of the things that will remind you of him. Do not go to places where you used to go to for now. And never ever talk to his own circle of friends.

Write down your emotions on a diary or a journal. This is one of way of relieving you of the emotions that have bottled inside for weeks and weeks of intense emotional experience. Learn to put your emotions into words. The funny thing about this is when you finally get over and you read this, you will laugh out loud at how sappy you have been.

Go out and have some fun. Take your friends with you and enjoy new things in life. Make sure you try out a new sport or find a room for change in your life whether be it a new lifestyle or a new hobby.

Book Review: With or Without God

By Todd Rutherford

Expecting dense, philosophical discussions within the pages of With or Without God, Life's Mysteries Continue, the reader is pleasantly surprised and refreshed with an exchange that is both entertaining, easy to understand, and meaningful. The author expertly combines a plethora of elements to compose the content of the text, including such topics as religion, philosophy, science, the paranormal, and the future. As a result, there are a multitude of audiences for whom this book can be appealing.

In fact, this book addresses such age-old questions as, "Why do we exist?" "If there is a God, then why can't we see him?"-to name a few. The perplexing concepts of life and death often loom over us; however, Dr. Sondlo Leonard Mhlaba puts these and other issues into perspective, thereby making With or Without God a most intriguing read. Interweaving the author's own childhood in Zimbabwe within the structure of the narrative lends it an unmistakable credibility, bringing interest to the book itself.

The questions that many of us are afraid to ask are woven wonderfully throughout the text. Overall, this is a delightful, thought-provoking book that gives readers a chance to sit down in this fast-paced world, and ruminate on why things happen the way they do.

In a candid, non-apologetic manner, Mhlaba does not shy away from the truth, telling readers only what they want to hear. On the contrary, the author asserts, "What we are uncomfortable accepting is that we are no more a product of nature than rivers, forests, and galaxies. It was here before we were here and may go on without us in a matter of a few thousand years from now." Passages like these jolt readers into realizing how time slips so effortlessly and quickly through our fingers. Indeed, this book puts us face-to-face with our own mortality.

Dr. Sondlo Leonard Mhlaba also causes readers to make connections as he combines the various elements of discussion together. For example, he associates near-death experiences with the scientific unraveling of the human body at death. Resonating from the text are such quotes as, "When we die, the neural communications in our brain wind down, and the distinctions that we were able to make between ourselves and the rest of our surroundings slowly fade. We gradually melt into oneness with everything until we are called dead."

Lingering questions will remain with readers, possibly altering mindsets and thought processes. Ultimately, With or Without God, Life's Mysteries Continue is a powerful book delivering a powerful message: the structure and composition of the human is such that we cannot fully understand the pivotal questions and answers pertaining to life and death; however, we can learn to slow down and appreciate the value of life, and perhaps accept that humans have limitations just like the rest of the elements of nature.

This is a must read for anyone who has ever had probing questions about life, death, and the human condition, to which there may not be ready answers. Indeed, Dr. Mhlaba brings these abstract issues down to earth and puts them into contexts that are understandable and thought provoking. The book can be ordered at Amazon.com, BN.com, and almost everywhere books are sold.

Remote Viewing - How Even A Complete Novice Can Get Started

By Vicki Porter

Have you heard of remote viewing? How do you know whether or not you can do it -- and how do you know whether or not you're doing it properly if you think you are? With remote viewing, you can see places, objects or people with your mind's eye instead of through your usual five senses.

Remote viewing is not the same as astral traveling. With astral traveling, your ethereal body is able to leave your physical body and travel incorporeally to be able to view something. Instead, your mind is doing all the work using the power of your sub-conscious mind.

Can you develop the power yourself and actually learn remote viewing? Absolutely; every person on the planet can do so. Just how successful you are at it depends on how well do you can relax and go into a trance like state, something very similar to what you feel when you are hypnotized.

Experts have long said that we only use about 10% of our mental capacity, with the other 90% untouched because we simply haven't tapped into it and haven't trained it. As one example, if you've spoken several foreign languages from childhood, those neural pathways are firmly established and you think it's absolutely normal to speak those languages. The same is true of other more 'ordinary' skills, such as reading and writing. You're taught these skills when you're young, and they become simply part of your mind's abilities throughout your life.

However, what if you had been taught to access your subconscious mind and its powers from the beginning of your life, as a small child? You may not have this ability developed right now, but you can develop it. It just means you haven't used it, and you need to train your mind to both see and use this ability that has been hidden until now.

Before you start to practice remote viewing, how will you get ready? Relaxation is key, and learning meditation is one great way to teach your mind to get into the state it needs to be in, in order to practice remote viewing. Self hypnosis, too, is another good way to 'practice' the relaxation and trance like state you're going to have to be in to be able to do remote viewing.

In addition to learning relaxation, though, you are also going to have to learn how to remain alert. It's very easy, of course, to fall asleep when you are that relaxed, but don't. Make sure you are well rested and calm, and let your mind stay alert as you fully relax physically.

Before you get into a comfortable, relaxed state and prepare for remote viewing, how will you test your results? You should plan a way to verify whether your viewing was successful or not before you get started.

One of the best ways to choose views that you can 'test' is to choose places you already know. For example, if you know a friend's home well and know what it usually looks like, try to look at it in your mind's eye through remote viewing. Is anything out of place? For example, are there books or papers scattered about that aren't usually there, in the living room? Are dishes or plates set out on the counter in the kitchen?

These are small things, to be sure, but they can tell you clearly whether or not what you're seeing is real. Once you've come out of your relaxed state, call the owner of the house you're trying to see and verify what you've seen.

Once you've practiced remote viewing, getting to that relaxed state will become easier every time you do it. Soon, you'll find that you can get into a relaxed state very easily, and the technique itself will be much easier to practice and become more fluid.

Advice For Couples On A Rough Road

By Andy Meyer

If there is a situation that needs urgency, it is that where a marriage is hanging on fate's mercy waiting to crumble to pieces. This is the worst time to sit and do nothing about the situation. The best advice would be to get a forum where the man and woman can discuss what needs to change if the marriage is to survive. Look for a compromise.

The best time to have the negotiations is when there are no tensions. One should have an open mind when they are dealing with a situation like this. Be honest with each other and respect everyone's viewpoint.

If no agreement has been reached, you can let the discussions go on for a number of days. This will not be a big issue considering you have been together for a number of years.

In case both think that nothing can be salvaged out of your marriage, delve into the past and fish out those positive things that would justify your marriage to stay intact. Focus on the glory days and build on this.

After those have been discussed, you can now come back to the edge of the cliff and touch on the bad things that need to be addressed. Do it tactfully assuring each other that you are not pointing fingers.

One thing to remember is that the whole idea of having this discussion is to find out whether the marriage is worth to be kept. You are not after tagging names of culprits.

It is in this forum that either you will know things about both of you, which you did not know or you just did not think about. At this time, truths about you that you never thought of before will be flung at you. It will convince you more that communication is important.

No matter how bad things look on the ground, you should not give up on the marriage too easily. Keep all the efforts to save the marriage alive and functioning. Keep the communication channels open and discuss ways and means to get the heartbeat of the marriage beating back to normalcy.
