I desire my children to obey my directions because they honour and love me not because they're terrified.

God also , having paid a great price for us, expects some type of appreciation - He expects us to give over our life to working for Him and His plan for mankind.

I need to explain that when I quote the Bible, I am I am referencing God's words, not just some ancient book that has suffered many trials over the centuries and is now an undependable list or diverse old mens imagination's.
