Death is coming

The closer death creeps up upon me the less I am able to understand the reasons for life or living.

Yes I have experienced a close family member dying and unlike television it takes decades to handle such a thing. To think I am going to put my family through such a thing when I finally leave is more horrific to me than the thought of death itself.

My life was and is still a learning experience but when all said and done what am I to do with all this accumulated learning over my lifetime if I just die. There is no logic or reason to this.

Long ago I became aware that the God story that is sold to the majority is just a nice story to give mankind with a message of a basic layout of how nice life could be if everyone followed these ideas. Not many in life do and if one thinks about it the good and evil structures actually depend on each other. The good that can be experienced in life is only understood as good when there is it's opposite to compare it to. This is not rocket science only common sense in reality. I am not saying we need to experience bad but understanding in it is needed to appreciate the great things many of us can have in our lives. From birth to death there are many ways mankind helps his fellow man. How many ways can you help?

Improve Your Health With Sound

By Charlie Jonn

Sound healing is a strong tool for a human organism that has its foundations in the world of vibrations. The resonant system of sound, shows how sound vibrations are broadcast to each part of our physical body. Whatever tonal frequency we embrace, whatever sounds we express, whatever music we hear, those tonal frequencies resonate through each cell, tissue, organ, and structure in our body. Sound vibrations vibrate our physical structures and really change their cellular patterns.

We are able become more privy to the sounds we express, what it is that we say, and the tone or context in which we are saying it. Our underlying tone is the fundamental part of our communication that lies behind the words.

We are able to concentrate on the sort of music that we listen to, as music enters into our multidimensional core. Music has either a favorable or malignant effect on our health and well-being. Studies have shown that metal music, vulgar rap, and a bunch of other musical genres actually weaken our physical body, whereas classical music and soft rock beef up it. If health is your priority, hear what your body is saying about the nature of your music.

Solfeggio music is major factor in making multidimensional health and spiritual awareness. This vital connection to Spirit is strengthened in every single moment of Solfeggio meditation. If you would like to feel it, just spend a minute sounding out each particular Solfeggio tone while you target the location of the vibration energy.

You can often advance your own health and well-being through sound and Solfeggio frequencies. Experiment with the effect of sound by sounding the same observes that correspond to a particular energy center or endocrine organ in which you believe problems. Employ a piano or solfeggio tuning forks as a steer to find just the right note. Embracing the sound vibrations and the ancient Solfeggio tones that characterize our higher Self, increases spiritual substance and makes our connections with Spirit more natural.

Spiritualism In Nature

By Joe Goddard

For most people, a sense of faith is acquired through the sensibilities of family members. It is a healthy step in an individual's development and helps bring them closer to a sizable community of like-minded individuals. At one point or another, everyone is faced with questions of faith, and having good resources makes the process that much easier.

Having said this, some people are exposed to spirituality through other sources such as literature. The publications of Transcendentalist authors such as Emerson and Thoreau lead many people to look at nature as a spiritual guide. The exclusive draw back being that there is not a community that meets to discuss this brand of spiritualism. Spiritual websites, however, allow people to explore abstract views regarding spiritualism, without feeling judged or misrepresented.

Native American spiritualities are deeply rooted in a respect for the world and nature, and they are commonly represented by spiritual websites. These ideals can aid people to make larger strides in their spiritual journey. Spiritual websites commonly present dispositions such as this, and therefore are a healthier means of gaining information for people searching for answers in nature.

Another benefit of these types of websites is that the content is not inclusive of a specific religious attitude. The member posted content comes from a variety of influences, which all work to amplify your understanding of spiritualism. Nature is one such topic that is discussed regularly on spiritually focused sites, and this makes it extremely beneficial to people who feel a ironclad connection to nature. The inspiration may be easily introduced into your life, but exploring it further is often the hardest part of the process.

Participating in spiritual websites gives you access to abstract trains of thought and time with a spiritual guide, which helps you better yourself. Looking to alternative sources gives you a distinct advantage in that you have a broader understanding of spiritualism, and more information with which you can base your own spiritual philosophy. It is common to feel alone when you believe in a hybrid spirituality, but spiritual websites are an excellent resource for people to openly express the views and values.

Daniel's Dream Interpretation Encounter

By Matthew Wong

Daniel was a prophet. He received the special gift from God for interpretation of dreams. The ruling of Jerusalem was given by the God from Jehoiakim king of Judah to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon.

When Nebuchadnezzar king was in his ruling, he commanded to bring forth the blemish-free, wise, skillful and knowledgeable children to palace to learn Chaldeans. Daniel and his three friends Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah were brought to the palace and lived there. God had mercies on the four children and gave them knowledge, skill and wisdom. Meat and wine were commanded by the king to provide to the four children and other chosen ones. But the four children purposed hi their hearts that they would not defile themselves. Therefore, pulse and water were brought to them as God brought Daniel into favor and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.

One day, Nebuchadnezzar king had a dream. He was so anxious about the dream that he could not sleep. He brought forth the magicians, astrologers, sorcerers and Chaldeans and asked them for dream interpretation. When the servants asked the king to tell them his dream, the king said he had already forgotten but he would cut them into pieces if the servants could not provide the interpretation. The Chaldeans therefore answered the king that there is no one except God could interpret the dream for him. The king was very angry and ordered to destroy all the wise men.

The captain of the king's guard told Daniel about what happened. Daniel assured the king that he would show the king the interpretation if the king would give him time. Daniel went to his house and told his three friends. The four people together desired mercies of God to reveal the secret to them. A night vision was given to Daniel.

When Daniel was brought to the Nebuchadnezzar king, he interpreted the dream. Daniel said to the king that there was a great image in the dream. The great image was with excellent brightness. The head of image of made of fine gold and other parts like breast, legs, and belly were made of brass, iron and clay. A stone was thrown to the iron and clay feet from no hands. The iron and clay feet were hit and the whole great image was broken like chaff to form a mountain.

Daniel explained to the king that Nebuchadnezzar king was the head of the image that God has given him the kingdom, power, strength and glory. After the reign of Nebuchadnezzar king, three other kingdoms would rise. In the days of these kingdoms, the God would set up a forever standing kingdom to break all the three kingdoms. God had made known to Nebuchadnezzar king what shall come to pass hereafter.

Daniel was offered oblation and sweet odors as worship. His faith and trust in God pleased the God and mercies were given to him for dream interpretation and be blessed and graced upon Nebuchadnezzar king.

Transcending the Ego by Honoring the Present Moment

By Jason Lincoln Jeffers

Becoming consciously aware of your ego when facing each challenge in life is necessary for ego transcendence. Calmly and patiently being vigilant to each challenge as soon as it arises, will allow the challenge to play itself out, and eventually dissolve. Your only concern should be what is happening now, in the present moment.

Becoming anxious, stressed out, or obsessively worrying about each challenge that develops is the way that the paranoid ego projects the mind into the future, and as a result, completely ignores the present. This is when problems are manifested. The more you become stressed and worried, the worse the problem becomes. This is when you'll be creating unnecessary suffering for yourself and others.

Don't put your challenges on the back burner and ignore them, hoping they will just go away on their own, because they won't. The challenges will dissolve, one by one, but you have to give them the attention they deserve. The key is staying focused in the present moment. If you're unable to do this right away, that's understandable. Begin by living in day-tight compartments. In a week or two, strive to live in hour-tight compartments. Then minute-tight. Then second-tight. Eventually you'll find yourself living in Now-tight compartments. Honoring the present moment is essential for ego transcendence. When you observe the mind projecting itself into the past or into the future, bring your attention back to the present moment. An expert Ego Transcendence Counselor can teach you how to live every moment in the eternal Now.

Tragedy and catastrophe are effects playing themselves out on your life stage, brought on by your higher Self so that you can grow and evolve into a spiritual being. Becoming more and more present to life and giving life the attention it deserves is the only way to prevent problems from occurring. The Self-realized will deal with challenges as soon as they arise, not sweep them under the carpet. After all, the U.S. Treasury didn't accumulate $15 Trillion worth of debt overnight.

The only way to stop the cycle of "one damn problem after another" from repeating, is for you to stop creating them. Once you begin to become aware that you've been creating your own problems all along, you will no longer be asking, "Why are these things happening to me?" You'll instead be asking, "What have I done to create this reality?" An Ego Transcendence Counselor can help you to initiate this shift in consciousness.

Who Is The "Hero" In The "Hero's Journey"?

By Leland Poliks

During the past thirty years, much has been (rightfully) made of Joseph Campbell's breakthrough research in cultural anthropology, most famously published in "The Hero With A Thousand Faces." In this book, Campbell examines the many cultural expressions of the heroic role model, and in doing so helped to establish the universality of human hopes, dreams, and lives.

Hollywood, in particular, has embraced this vision, which powers dozens of films a year, and has become clichd wisdom in development executive suites all over Southern California. Of course, the question of the nature of heroes enters other arenas as well. In the political arena, shaping doctrine around strong leader figures is one way to promote ideas to the public. Heroic firefighters and soldiers appear in ads for one party or another, and our elected officials trumpet their military service-or are criticized for their lack thereof, or are called cowards or even traitors if they disagree with the plans or opinions of an opponent.

Whether one wishes to understand the "Hero's Journey" as a tool for fiction, or desires to rise above the rhetoric a bit, it's useful to define just exactly what a hero is. This is, after all, the human face of the story. If the "Journey" is important, even more so is the person taking it. If we, as a culture, tend to worship and follow heroes, it is vital to have a definition of exactly what this is.

Of course, each of us should search our own hearts for the definitions that help us guide our lives. With that understanding, I'd like to present a definition that has worked for this writer and citizen for many years.

"A hero is a man or woman who holds to their deepest values, regardless of the stress or pressures."

This applies to soldiers in combat, teachers in the inner city, mothers sacrificing for their children, artists resisting commercial demands, teenagers resisting the call of drugs or alcohol or premature sexuality. It demands that the "Hero" understand his or her deepest values, and often, the entire purpose of a story is to force them to confront these deeper truths, stripping away superfluous ego-identity.

Culturally, this means that a person of Heroic dimension doesn't necessarily share our point of view, our political beliefs, even our morality. To understand this is to understand how an apparent moral monster can be lionized by his followers. When we disagree with a leader, and are forced to dehumanize him in order to justify our own position, we diminish our capacity to understand the human condition.

We must hold to our values, and be clear about them. The entire world of advertising-whether Madison Avenue is selling cereal or an unpopular war-is based on anchoring some goal to basic human drives. Those who are uncertain of their values are like straws in the wind, blown by whoever plucks their strings. No wonder we cherish those who seem clear and strong in their identity, who stand by their choices even under stress. No wonder we respect these men and women even as it becomes clear that flexibility and compromise might be the better way. At least they believe in SOMETHING!

If we are to grow beyond sheep needing a shepherd, we must be strong ourselves. We must know ourselves deeply and honestly, and find the bedrock of our own morality. From this place it is easiest to determine when a leader is truly worthy of emulation or admiration or obedience. When we walk this road of self-discovery, we become heroes ourselves, experiencing the adventure of our own lifetimes.
